9.6 Excellent
Pros: very clean and well presented. gracious host.
Cons: we loved it- a little tricky to find though
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was spotless clean , the room very nice arranged, the beds very comfortable. The apartment is very close to the main bus stations that takes you to the whole Amalfi coast. 10 minutes walking to the boats that make the trips to Amalfi, Positano and Capri. Area has a lot of shops around. The host were amazing, they went far and beyond to make us feel comfortable and like home. Mr Enzo took his time to explain in detail everything i need to know regarding transportation and choosing the right place to eat or things to visit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful owner. Property was also great to stay at- when in Salerno we would come here again. Many thanks for a great stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a very nice B&B perfect to travel to the Amalfi coast. The place was sparkling clean, not even in a nice hotel you would see this level, honestly incredible. The owners were fantastic, really nice people. They have printed maps and timetables for the bus. We definitely recommend this place to stay in Salerno
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very friendly and the house was beautiful. The service was excellent. Everything was perfect. Great and awesome.
Cons: The location, it was kind of dangerous. And We were afraid of that, however the location was near to some of the most important places in Salerno, for example restaurants and the train and bus station.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is spotlessly clean, including the shared bathrooms. Despite being in a large building, it's also quiet at night, so no problems sleeping. Dodo and Enzo are really friendly and helpful - we really enjoyed staying there.

Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very nice mini hotel in Salerno that is close to both the shopping district and old-town. The check-in experience and explanation of the area was great. The room was very nice, loved the large rain shower head, and breakfast was very good. I got a great restaurant recommendation from then also. Highly recommended.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I traveled all night, so I asked the owner of the B&B if I could check-in between 12:00 and 13:00 instead of waiting until 16:00 when their normal check-in starts and there was no problem with it. We were given a map with tourist attractions and restaurants, which was quite helpful. The staff are very nice, including the housekeeper, who ran after us into the street to thank for the tip we left in the room, even though she had a painful foot injury.
Cons: When we arrived at the B&B after a long journey, it turned out that there was no hot water and we couldn't take a shower. The heating in the bathroom also did not work. After about 1.5 hours, the first signs of hot water appeared but the problem with hot water in the shower remained until the end of our stay, which is for 6 days! Hot water in the shower appeared for 15-30 seconds and then cold water started to flow. You had to constantly keep changing the proportions of hot and cold water to maintain the proper temperature or just turn it off and back on again every 30 seconds to be able to take a shower. This was by far the worst thing about this B&B. I suspect that the thermostat in the shower faucet was broken. The problem was reported to the staff as soon as we arrived. I asked for a double bed but it was really two single beds with two single mattresses joined together. The bed frames remained joined but the mattresses slid out every night to create a gap in the middle. This was not what I meant when asking for a double bed. What I didn't like was that it was very cold in the kitchen where we ate breakfast every day. The large window was wide open even when the outside temperature was 14 C, windy and raining. Our table was exactly opposite this window at a distance of 50 cm, so it was not pleasant to feel a breath of cold air at the nape of the neck. At our request, the window was slightly closed and rarely completely, so there was still an unpleasant breeze of cold air on the back of the person sitting opposite the window. If you don't speak Italian, you may have language barrier when communicating with the staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was all excellent. The owners are very friendly, kind and helpful. The room cozy and clean. Perfect breakfast - at my request vegan croissants - super good. The excellent location. Highly recommended.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Trust all the other positive reviews. The room was comfy and clean, the breakfast full of options and delicious (they accommodate to your dietary needs), the location is very central and most of all the staff is very friendly and communicative. They helped me with my bag on arrival (there is a small flight of stairs at the entrance of the building) and had my room ready for check in extra early (during low season). They really make sure everything goes well so to have a great stay! I would stay there again without n'y second thought.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice room, good breakfast, good easy communication, excellent helpful and friendly host!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property is very modern and clean. The owner was very helpful and nice. Highly recommended
Cons: The water pressure of the hot water is quite low and you waste some water until it heats up but I really can’t complain about much. This is merely a recommendation to improve it to reduce wasted water
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were welcoming, helpful and personable. As a woman travelling alone in a city I knew nothing about, I felt extremely secure in and around this lovely b&b and was given excellent advice. The whole b&b was exceptionally clean. I will stay here again if I return.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The host is a wonderful person who makes you feel comfortable like home. The host speaks fluent English so that was a big relief (although it's not an expectation) You're welcomed with utmost care for your needs during the stay. That's the high point of this place. I stayed in a studio room and it was will equipped with kitchen items and other small appliances. It was sparkling clean and well managed. I visited in winters, heating was adequate as well with the temperature control in your hands :-) above everything, the empathetic attitude of the host brings half of your worries down. I'm for sure staying here when I'm visiting Salerno again. The location is 2 stops from main bus station (Viciprova) and 1 train stop from central station. Grazie Mille, Antonio !
9.0 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very nice and helpful, she gave us good advice about how to organize better our trip to Amalfi. The place was very clean and organized. The room was big and comfortable and the kitchen was open for the guests. I would totally recommend this place.
Cons: Nothing really. Of course the place is not in the main center, but very well connected though.
7.9 Good
Pros: Clean house and very nice host
Cons: Location was a little far
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean property, perfect location, very helpful host.
Cons: There was a curfew on using a kitchen. From 7-10am and from 7-10pm. One evening we were sitting in the kitchen (the only common place in the property) talking with other guests, when Elena asked us to clear up and leave the kitchen. "It is after 10pm, the kitchen is closed". Why? There were no other people in the property, we were not disturbing anyone, after we left no one used it. Why such a strange rule? Elena is a lovely host, very passionate about her B&B and is eager to help. Many times she has made us concessions on using the balcony or the kitchen, but still it made me feel like I was doing something wrong all the time. Sorry, Elena, for saying it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Elena was amazing and attentive. The area was also nice, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets in the area. It was also super close to the metro!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Elena was fantastic and we enjoyed staying in her B & B very much. We were extremely comfortable, the room was big and airy and the bed was perfect. The location was great, near buses and a train station. Great coffee shop downstairs and supermarkets within metres of the accomodation. Cant beat it, great value and a wonderful base to visit the Amalfi coast. Would definite stay again, Elena was a terrific host.
Cons: Nothing at all!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The flat was very clean, not far from the city center. The beach is close to the house. We really liked the woman, she was so kind and friendly! Near the apartment you can find a lot of bars, pizza restaurants and cafes.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Elena was very great host. Gave us a lot of helpful information about transport and locations. This is the perfect place to stay if you look for volcation clise to the beach. The location was very good: 24/7 supermarket, public beach, Sita bus station in 18 min walk (recomend for exploring Amalfi coast). There are a lot of stuff on the kitchen, so you can easily stay at the property for more than few days. I had lost my earring on the last day but Elena found it and gave it to me just when I was on the way to station. Very appreciate that. Thank you for friendly atmosphere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host Elena is a perfect person. I strictly recommend everyone to try B&B Metro.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Friendly and helpful hosts. Good facilities.
Cons: Nothing Everything ok.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location in the centro historico is great. There are many good restaurants within a short walk from the b&b. The sea is near by and so is the train station. We did a day trip to Paestum via the train. The bed was comfortable. The Cathedral is beautiful. The host, Arsenio, is a friendly man and helpful. He has a shop across from the b&b and is available if one has questions or concerns.
Cons: The apartment is spacious, however the bathroom is very small and it is located next to the kitchen. The neighborhood can be quite noisy during the evenings as neighbors are socializing and children are playing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. Great location central to the town.
7.9 Good
Pros: Arsenio ensured we had fresh big croissants of our choice every morning. Christy the breakfast/maid was lovely. Room very clean. A kitchen area available with fridge, kettle ,espresso and lots of snacks for off times/eve. Piazza on Dei Mercanti a happening place with lots of restaurants. Class than a mile to parking garage, ferry, train station etc.
Cons: Free parking outside of old town was non existant. We spent 3 hours trying to find the area Arsenio told us, using Google maps, but no go. We ended up paying 66 € for a parking garage for 3 days. The shower and water pressure was terrible and other tenants could be heard thru walls . I would suggest taking other transport in the area as driving is an absolute nightmare...the Amalfi coast road is crazy and rush hour traffic insane
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable rooms directly in the historic Center next to the train Station, Promenade and Bars and Restaurants. Perfect for a quick Stop at beautiful Salerno. Also the hosts are very Kind and picked us up at the train Station because we were late.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the view, that everything was brand new and very comfortable. The host was amazing and explained everything for us. Would definitely come back!
Cons: Everything was great
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Personal was very friendly. The room was great, clean, stylish and cozy, with balcony where you can observe panoramic view. Parking spot is right near the house.
Cons: There is no Wi-Fi. It's hard to find apartment as there is no signs.
7.9 Good
Pros: The view from the balcony of the kitchen amazing. I pulled up a chair outside every night to enjoy a late beer with a spectacular view of Salerno. Very helpful host and assistant and also we got a driver (we paid extra for his services, but still better than a taxi). No issues with the parking which is a sensitive aspect in Italy.
Cons: The view from our room was decent, not amazing, being half blocked by a hill. There is very difficult to access the location without a car. We had one but if we didn't it would have been a major issue/cost in taxi fares for the 5 days we stayed. No mini market close by. No restaurant within walking distance either. The walls are thin, if the guys next room talk a bit louder, especially during the night you can definitely hear them.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The views were amazing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host is awesome :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view from the balcony.Everything was great. Would be nice to add one casserole and spatullas to.make some pastas :)
7.1 Good
Pros: This b&B is located in the apartments, with panoramic view from all the rooms - either to the mountains or to the sea. The host is very good guy, very polite, he shows us all available rooms in order we can choose. The b&b is new, everything is good-looking.
Cons: The shampoo bootle was staying empty, so it seems, that the personnel doesn't check it availability. The breakfast was very simple, there were just few sweet snacks, and that's all - I can't name it breakfast actually, it's more like sweets for coffee. The coffee pot was very dirty. The parking is not private parking, but just a place near the house, s it can't guarantee you the safeness of your car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Was exceptional clean. The lady that works there so nice and helpful. We got so much help from the owner of the place. Overall perfect place to stay but need to have car or just to use public transport.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful place and very friendly and helpful host.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner is so kind and helpful. He was a very good person.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is about 20 minutes walk from Salerno station, costs Euro 11 for taxi. It's in the heart of the shopping areas and close to ferry port and some tourists spots. Room was made up and cleaned daily. Breakfast was standard fare with bread, yogurt, fruit, coffee, some cold meat. You'll need to ask host for anything specific - butter, salt/pepper. Eggs were given on two days. Host provided maps and directions as well as some info on tourist spots but you should go to the tourist information center for current events/fares/schedules of ferries etc. Host assisted in getting us our early morning taxi ride when leaving. It's a safe place so long as one remembers the rules to lock up.
Cons: The wifi was slow and hard to connect inside room. One had to come out at close range to the wifi router for better connectivity. It would be helpful for the host to get a wifi extender and higher speed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything lovely rooms. Location. And the host.
Cons: Nothing all good
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The host was very friendly and helpful, yet a bit tiresome. The location was nice, the apartment was clean and good looking.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Thanks to the owner of the B&B, I had a very good experience in Salerno. He is very nice, and always ready to help. Good breakfast. He kindly offered me a cup of espresso.
Cons: Room is a bit dark and old.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: We didn't want to drive in Italy so the location of the hotel was important for us so we could make the most of our stay. This hotel has an excellent location .. across from the train station and bus terminal. Also it is 5 mins walk to the port for ferry connections to the Amalfi coast & Capri. Our room looked out onto the main square in front of the train station but there was no issue with noise even though it was busy outside most evenings. The room was comfortable , clean & had air-conditioning as well as a ceiling fan. Hotel is located on the main street so great for boutique shopping and some very nice restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent - cold cuts , fresh crusty rolls, juice, coffee, cereal, yoghurt, sweet pastries, croissants, boiled eggs, fruit. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Great stay...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the best hotel during our stay in Italy in July 2019. Very close to the railway station. Like less than 100 meters. Not far from the port from where the ferries leave for Amalfi and Positano. 10 minutes drive / 2.5 Kms from the port from where ferries leave for Capri Islands. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was very helpful and polite. Rooms sizes were good - could easily move around and were not cramped. Definitely recommended.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff
Cons: Not much for the price.
6.0 Good
Pros: It's centrally located to the Salerno train station and Salerno port to the amalfi coast. You use this hotel to simply drop off your luggage, sleep and showrrz
Cons: Hotel wifi is non existent. The interior could use a new paint job and carpet. It's an older hotel. Don't expect luxury.
6.0 Good
Pros: I've been to this hotel twice already. It's a good location to simply sleep and shower. Very basic but clean. Walking distance to port.
Cons: The hotel needs to upgrade its wifi service. It's non existent. You can only pick up the signal in the lobby.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Great location - very close to the train station and town center.
Cons: Parking in the area is very expensive - take the train if possible
8.0 Excellent
Pros: When I arrived to the room it was a perfect temperature and though there is no bell boy, one of the workers was kind enough to take my luggage to my room, as the lift was quite small. I was very surprised to find a box of chocolate left for me as it was my birthday ( I mentioned it when I called them as I did not go to town to celebrate, so they were very kind). The facility itself has no restaurant or bar on site, but the location is wonderful, few minutes from the railroad station, steps from the sea and just on the corner of the pedestrian area where there is plenty of food and lots of mid to higher end shopping for everything, as well as small eateries. Great for who wants to travel light and buy new clothes :) as well as fun for window watching. Also convenient for those who want to arrange one day bus tour to the Amalfi Coast or even walk to the old town (it's worth it) and see the old Duomo. The owners of the Tabacchi store at the railroad station seemed to be very knowledgable as far as what tickets to get. I realized that Salerno can be very windy, so it is a good idea to bring along a scarf of sort.
Cons: Minus for noise and lack of personnel. Also, the breakfast wasn't the greatest. Just across the street I found a wonderful coffee place with fresh pastries that would have been much better. The staff did not seem very informed about amenities in the areas, but I ended up finding a Spanish restaurant and had a great burger (was really missing it!). The bed was comfortable, but nothings special. The noise from the street was noticeable, but it was over by 8 or 9 pm. The room was large enough, but no real work table. I had to make sure to ask for a coffe/tea maker prior to arrival, as they did not have one and the fridge was poorly stocked. There is a little grocery store in the pedestrian strip where one can buy milk or wine, bread and everything else needed for a sandwich and more should they want to take something to eat in the room as the hotel does not provide food service. Breakfast can be ordered in the room the night before. There is no cable tv, for the solo travelers who prefer to stay in at night. Just enjoy your free wifi.
6.7 Good
Pros: Good service and very clean Very close to station and shops
Cons: Room very small and bed uncomfortable.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Tornerei! Very good place to stay. The view was poor because its on a really small street so there is no way it could have a good view, but its a really good place to stay!
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Too many stairs and we were with a baby however the staff was very helpful as have us a hand :)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The person who checked us in was very helpful, including coming out to the car and riding with us to get the car parked properly in the old part of the city. The room was very clean and functional, and the location was outstanding. We only stayed for one night but it met our needs perfectly.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: It's written bed and breakfast but actually there is NO Breakfast. I did ask for a special request( just a little love note and a red flower) and after a positive answer, I didn't see any of my request in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist lady was very friendly, the room was large and the shower was really big and great. It was in the historical centre of Salerno, very close to the beach.
6.7 Good
Pros: Great location in the old city centre! Walking distance from many restaurants. Spacious room, but there is no elevator so you have to climb the steep stairs. For me this was no problem but it is something to take into account when you are less mobile.
Cons: The man who cleans the rooms and provides breakfast every morning is very rude! For some reason he is irritated all the time and takes it out on the customers. When I asked for a knife he refused to give me one and said I should use a spoon instead. I have never encountered someone so rude and unprofessional working in the hospitality industry. Regarding hygiene: there was a big stain on the bedspread.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location was pretty central, staff was very friendly.
Cons: The air conditioner wasn’t very strong and there was only one in the main area, so the Bedroom was very hot while the living area was either comfortable or too cold based on if we were trying to cool down the bedroom. Also, the shower did not drain — it would take a few hours to drain after one 2-3minute shower. There were three of us and we had to continuously try and plan our showers in incremental waves. The staff did have it fixed the first day, but it continued happening for the remainder of our stay.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: WiFi service..I lost a lot of time for mi bussines and I was without comunication with my family in Mexico..Is very Bad Experience..I exited from hotel and use wifi in other side in order to work, si I didn'n enjoy my stance in this hotel..I am in disapoint..

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Roberto is a brilliant host? Exceedingly helpful, lovely location, pls town shops and restaurants, parking arranged for a fee close by. Highly recommended, central for the area for all attractions,
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a beautiful historic building, equipped with modern facilities. Roberto hosted us very friendly. Breakfast was in a little Café roundabout 100 steps away, very italian - that means: cappuccino grandioso! We were the second time there. I recommend earplugs, because the beautiful little place can be noisy at nigth. But it is nothing in comparasion with this beautiful surrounding: palmtrees, fountains, a baroque church. We loved it very much, and our friends too.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, cleanliness, and the terrace. The staff in the breakfast restaurant up the road were lovely people.
Cons: Could do with an iron for guests who are travelling with clothes packed in suitcases
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location to walk about town and get to ports and train station. Room was a good size and clean, as was the bathroom. Friendly staff.
Cons: Breakfast was very basic and did not vary from day to day. The property is located up a narrow lane way on a hill which taxis can’t get to so you will have to walk your luggage about 200m up a hill.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was nice, Roberto was very kind. The room is exactly like the pictures, very clean, very confortable, the terrace very chill. I liked the neighbourdhood, felt very safe. Also, is a short walk to the station or boats.

Pros: Perfect location, secure entry, very friendly and helpful owners, we were sent very clear photos as directions to get to the BandB! The shower was so great. The owner met us and was so helpful and made us feel welcome. Comfortable beds and good choice for breakfast before exploring the city. We will be back!
Cons: There were 3 of us needing to shower and one of us had a cold shower because it’s an old building and not much hot water unfortunately. That is not their fault and next time we will be having to space out our showers.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean, cosy and nice room. It is near city centre, railway station and situated in beautiful old town. Near you can find great restaurant and carrefour market.
Cons: Breakfast was good, but not in our style. Everything was sweet, it was good for snack -maybe not for breakfast.

Pros: Although on the other hand the host immediately brought a plumber at the apartment (in 30' max) and fixed the problem. The location is amazing and the room itself is perfect. The host is a really nice easygoing guy and i think the incident was just bad luck.
Cons: Had an unexpected incident with the bath. the hole from which water goes away was blocked which lead up to not being able to take a shower. When i informed the host told me it is happening every now and then which made me think why he didn't checked that out before our check in.

4.2 Okay
Pros: Very little.
Cons: If its advertised as a bed and breakfast, then a breakfast should be provided. The accommodation wasn't as advertised and I had to pay for an extra bed. Noisy toilet and shower.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The family looking after the b&b were very friendly and really looked after me nothing was too much trouble. We had a lot of fun learning to understand each other although Julia spoke good English and would translate. As I was on my own they looked after me well. The room I had was huge and really nice the bed was very comfy and it was all kept very clean. The b&b is in the old town area so there are lots of interesting shops and places to eat or drink. The shops open am then close about 1pm and open again about 5pm. In the Main Street I think called Corso di Victoria & emmanuelle is wide and lined with big names and coffee shops. Best things macchiato latte and granita di limone made with fresh lemon juice so refreshing in the heat and sharp lemon with sweet. And of course the infamous gelato gorgeous. Great for shoes and bags and clothes. Easy to get to amalfi. Positano. Minori maorri by boat or bus 16 euros to amalfi return be warned amalfi is much more expensive Both cathedrals at amalfi and Salerno are definitely worth visiting the duomo matteo in Salerno a short walk from the b&b is very beautiful and was my top choice to visit very unassuming but unbelievably stunning inside I fell over and landed face down and was quite hurt I had 5 Italians come to my aid including luckily for me a doctor they really took care of me asked if I wanted an ambulance tip of the day if you do this and smash your nose put ice on it for at least ten to fifteen minutes no black eyes. Genuinely nice Italians thank you
Cons: Rude Italians. Smoking and dog ends everywhere. Lack of information services. I went on my own which made it harder
6.3 Good
Cons: It is not beach front and it does not have parking - you have to fight for street parking in a very busy area. The breakfast is packaged and left out the night before.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location, nicely decorated, great air conditioning.
Cons: The wifi was HORRIBLE. The shower didn't work properly. Staff could have been nicer.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed the meet and greet. Very velcoming host and the bed and breakfast was clean and had a good standard. Will be staying there again if we go back to salerno
Cons: Didnt like the noise, could hear the neighbours when they took showers etc.. Also think there was a misunderstanding because we stayed for 6 nights and Only got one room cleaning with change of towels
7.5 Good
Cons: A little hard to find.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was only for 1 night but everything was great. We were met by the owner and his son. They were extremely accomodating and catered for all our needs. The entrance hall and room was beautiful, we were blown away by the standards of this B&B, it is more like a boutique hotel. We were a group of 5 aged between 27 and 32 but would be suitable for all ages. We would highly recommend.
Cons: We didnt realise we had to pay in cash but went to closest ATM, approx 4 min walk.
