This is not a 'resort' its a low level casino with very nice, clean rooms attached. If you have to spend a night between Santa Fe and Taos, this is the place to stay. The price is very reasonable compared to the Santa Claran
The room and casino were easy to find.
I like the place overall, however, we rented a room with two queen beds, but the beds appeared to be two double beds. The hotel appears to be in need of new carpeting, and the shower had paint that was pealing off of the ceiling.
easy excess to casino, friendly employees, enjoyed our stay
It was very convenient to where we needed to be.
The hallways and elevators were dirty. They wouldn't accommodate my request for adjoining rooms.
Very dirty and dated hotel. Smelled of smoke and the upkeep was poor.
The smell of smoke from cigarets in my room
I liked the front desk clerk however the Security Guard let the people next door know we are complaining about their noise. So after he left they started banging on our door and of course we didn't open it very scary
we walked into the building it smelled like a cigarette burning and then we get into our room and the smell was worse, 9 PM we went to bed blanket's sheets stunk like cigarettes it was awful and the noise was unbearable did not sleep at all left 5AM

East access to main road.
Shower head was worthless. Tried to adjust it, but it was worn out.
The stuff was rude, not help full, I will never go there again..!
The service was not good at all
The beds were fine and everything was clean (if rather spartan) but the whole hotel (including the room) smelled vaguely of smoke. This isn't surprising given that it's connected to a rather smoky casino. The biggest complaint I had is that the walls were pretty thin and people were walking down the hallways (presumably back from the casino) at all hours of the night and were rather loud. Usually I'd turn on a fan to block out that sort of noise but there was none in the room. Also, while the person checking me in told me it came with free breakfast (and gave me two vouchers), that wasn't actually true unless you signed up for the casino's players program. By the time I realized that fact, breakfast was almost over and it was too late.
We responded to a radio ad and got a great rate with a very decent room and even won a little money to boot. Staff was very accomodating and friendly. Will stay again.
