The location is very nice with private dock and small beach
Check in was nightmare... had to upgrade to room with view or have one facing stone wall. Rude staff at check in. Our room was not clean and second day they didn’t come until 4:45 after I complained! They didn’t vacuum or sweep deck. It was really bad... coffee pot had old grounds from previous person and counters dirty!! We ended up paying over $300 a night. We deserve a refund of some sort. This is going on trip advisor too.
The location was gorgeous! The view overlooking the lake was spectacular. The room was cozy and comfortable. Good shower pressure. We upgraded to a lake view room on the first floor with patio and beach access. It was expensive but worth it. The restaurant and bar were great, again beautiful views! They even have a Sushi restaurant!
Expensive! Also, hot tub was in a weird location, felt like an abandoned part of the hotel? Good thing about it, we had it all to ourselves!
Location was nice.
Breakfast was very much like that found in far less expensive locations, i.e. not very good at all.
It is very cozy. Rooms facing the lake are beautiful. Breakfast is good and the gal making sure everything is stocked is very nice.
Nothing. Beautiful location
The breakfast, surroundings, dock and raft, games provided, views, flowers, decor, amazing staff like Erin, location, and so much more!!
What an amazing place! Absolutely beautiful, comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable. Erin the staff member greeted us and she was so sweet and helpful. She made our stay wonderful. Met the owner briefly, didn't know she was the owner until after the fact, and I would have said thank you for a lovely lodge to stay in as it was perfect! We sat outside on the lawn chairs, then on the benches, like 6 of them, on the dock. Took a swim from dock to the raft. Later we ate (many choices of table settings inside and outside) and ate our own leftover chicken and apple pie from a nearby restaurant that we drove to in downtown Sandpoint. We then sat on comfortable chairs/coffee table, and had a glass of wine outside. We did a toast to our dad on Father's Day (who recently passed away) while we watched an amazing sunset and full moon rise. The surroundings with water feature and stained glass windows at the entrance immediately made you feel at home. There are 2 Jacuzzis to pick from on each end of the lodge and there are towels for the guests. We just didn't stay in our room the whole time which by the way was comfortable. We walked around the area and down the road for exercise. There are games to chose from under a table in the main area where the cozy fireplace is located. Across the street is a place to rent boats/kayaks. Breakfast was awesome! There was bacon, boiled eggs, omelettes, cereal, fruit, cinnabons, pastries, 3 juices to pick from, lots of tea and coffee. Totally perfect. Great food next door too at the restaurant for dinner. THANK YOU so much for having us! Your lodge is beyond amazing and the decor is fabulous and comfortable!!!
