Homely hotel with friendly and helpful staff , good food for breakfast and clean but not very luxury rooms. Really good location .
Did not take credit card. Poor internet, not in room. Noisy room off square with traffic.
We had a beautiful view & was close to shopping & restaurants. The reception was welcoming & helpful. We had reservations for 1 night but stayed for 3 nights..
We enjoyed our stay at the Haus Franziskus Mariazell. It is very convenient to Mariazell and to St. Sebastian. The staff was very courteous.
They had allready closed the reseption when we arrived. They hadn't got our booking. We didn't get our room but we sneaked in to one room which was open. It was a nightmare. Anyways the people who was working there in the morning were great and we didn't have to pay anything. I would't recoment this hotel for couples. Not so nice maybe...
I liked that it is 400 meters away from the ski-lifts and the staff is mostly comprised of hungarians.
It was a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Close to the train station, which was handy as we arrived by train, and not far from the main town.
location in the center , the staff was very frendly ,worm and kind .[viola] the interior design very oldy ,the water in the pool was cold for us
Nothing, I couldn't run faster from it Everything is poor there- the location, the staff- it seems like a Polish hotel in Austria - for 90 EUR/night - come on...
Nice location, friendly staff, good beer and some limited food late hours The pool water was stated to be 22 degress Celsius (72 f) but it was bone-chilling cold!!! Rooms were a bit dark, brown wood and slightly dated otherwise we enjoyed our stay. No elevator (lift) but exercise is good for you!
Very welcoming. I liked the pool and the sauna after a day's skiing. The breakfast especially the coffee. Very kind offer of a lift back to Vienna at the end. The buffet dinner. We had supper the the hotel next door.
The owners could not have been more helpful and friendly. The 'knick knacks' spread around the hotel meant that every corner and corridor held one's interest!
Like going into the past. It was a nice "Pension" in the Austrian mountains with nearby hiking trails. Good food and beer too. There's not much to complain about if you're looking for a simple "Pension" in the Austrian mountains.
It was a nice family owned pension. The breakfast was good and fresh and the staff was helpful altough they spoke very little english.
