7.5 Good
Pros: The room was nice and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast has many choices. Hotel is within walking distance of the ticket service and cable car of Sanqingshan. The female receptionist was really kind and helpful. Price was quite reasonable for a Hilton.
Cons: The walls are very thin. I could hear the couple next door doing what couples do in hotels and could hear all the beeps from the. Light switches in the other room. The number of light switches for all lights is ridiculous so it sounded like somebidy tried to play Fur Elise. The other night there was a group making an enormous racket a few doors (or floor?) down and I had to wear ear plugs to get to sleep. Check-out and credit card payment took too much time because none of the terminals seemed to work and the male receptionist made some errors. An extra service charge was made for room service that was not mentioned in the room guide. Person receiving room service order on the phone did not speak English. I told her my menu item's numbers but still received the wrong soup.
7.5 Good
Pros: The swimming pool was great. Location was very convenient, right next to the tourist center to buy cable car tickets. Breakfast had a wide choice with different kind of cuisine.
Cons: The lighting system in the room was terrible. We pretty much pay for the facilities which are great, when the room is indeed big, but nothing special. For this price, I was expecting more.
7.5 Good
Pros: Spacious and clean rooms. Very comfortable. Concierge gave very helpful advise regarding San Qing Shan timings and routes to help me plan my schedule upon my arrival.
Cons: Paid more for room with mountain view but it was just construction outside. Nothing much of a view this side of the mountain. Service during was not up to expectations. You get the feeling staff don't know their stuff well. Wanted non-spicy in room food but got directed to order beef noodles that was spicy. They tried to persuade me to keep the spicy food by offering complimentary soft drinks and only changed a bowl of noodles upon my insistence to something non-spicy but not in the menu. I was charged for it all the same.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Location was great, The hotel is nice, the personnel is very kind.
Cons: The food was not that great, and at the swimming pool you should wear a cap.. Then at the swimming pool you should bring your towell and everything cause there nothing is prepared for you.
5.0 Okay
Pros: This hotel offers only breakfast during the week,no Lunch or dinner served in the restaurant. During the week when not busy, it is good. But during weekend, when tourist groups coming, the whole quality and services broken down, turning to 3 star hotel level. As a tourist hotel this is a Shame!
Cons: This Hilton hotel staff must be in the local monopoly transport business. There is no public transportation or normal Taxi. Therefore, the whole environment makes it a "black hidden market" with all private (black market) drivers, especially, when you want go to the other cable car at the Eastern side of the Mountain. When you ask the hotel staff, they hook you up with an overly priced private driver, charges 30% more than "normal" price. So don't and never ask the front desk for any transportation service. Simply, go to stay in the Eastern side, more developed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed. Great pool and gym. Breakfast is delicious and will satisfy both Chinese and International tastes. We will definitely come back.
Cons: Most of the staff does not speak English. Communication can be challenging. We used an app to translate.
