Pros: Fireplace in room ready to light and enjoy!
Super comfy chairs and couch with bird watching views
Nature trails and bird watching guides were great.
Food was excellent
Staff was terrific, friendly, if anything, over explaining the hotel offerings.
Cons: Lots of rough stone steps between entrance and rooms (48) like a four story walk up.
But nestled in scenic river gorge, this was a small price to pay.

Pros: A few minute walk from the bus station, and the second closest hotel in the pueblo of Machupicchu to the 2ish hour hike up the mountain--so it's ideal for anyone going up to Machu Picchu on wheels or by foot. They serve a nice buffet style breakfast at 4:30AM with a friendly employee (didn't catch his name) who doesn't seem to mind working that early. Went their with my father, and it was a great time! Would stay there again

Pros: It was beautiful and serene. My mom and I opened the windows and slept to the sound of the roaring river. It was magnificent. At the price we paid, we just wish we had free water for the entire stay. You are not allowed to drink the water, that includes using bottles water for brushing your teeth. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. The view was magnificent. Make sure you ask for eggs from the person working at breakfast. They are free, but are made to order. You won't get any if you don't ask.
Hatun Inti Boutique puts you 3.8 mi (6.1 km) from Machu Picchu. Free perks include WiFi and buffet breakfast daily between 5 AM and 9 AM. Rooms offer upscale touches like fireplaces and jetted tubs, along with flat-screen TVs and minibars.
Pros: The view is wonderful and hotel was clean and cozy
Cons: I didn't like the fact that we were charged 100$ for a massage in an awful spa! False advertising as a 5star when they are a three star hotel maximum! Our massages we later found out were given by the gardener and the housekeeper! I'd like to file a complaint as when I said we were unsatisfied, the front desk manager just shrugged her shoulders and offered us nothing.
Pros: The staff was excellent! They were courteous, professional, and very prompt. We were made very welcome immediately and the service remained until they dropped us off at the train station to leave. The location is perfect for visiting Machu Picchu and is conveniently located close enough to the town to sight see but far enough out not to be overly crowded. The food in the restaurant was amazing in taste, quantity, and display. The concierge was very helpful whether it was getting tickets for Machu Picchu or booking the cooking class. Every member of the staff treated my wife and I as if we were the only guests in the hotel. It was that kind of personal service where they even took the time to learn our names prior to talking with us.
Cons: I really can't think of anything bad to say about or stay at the hotel.

Pros: Very clean room, helpful staff, and promptly met at the train station. Staff takes and delivers luggage from & to station. Would recommend to a friend. Three of us stayed 2 nights (early Wayna Picchu climb then off to the hot springs that night).
Cons: Front rooms are noisy: street is active until late, and starts again before sunrise. Hunt for interesting restaurants!
Pros: The staff was very courteous.
Cons: Food was very ordinary. The coffee is best avoided. The bathrooms are small, dimly lit and prone to break down. No elevator.
Hotel La Cabaña Machu Picchu puts you within a 15-minute drive of Machu Picchu. Free perks include WiFi and buffet breakfast daily between 5:00 AM and 9:00 AM. 24-hour room service, refrigerators, and minibars are offered in all rooms.
Pros: Staying right at the entrance to Machu Picchu. Great breakfast and service.

Pros: We stayed in the couple's corner room with the view of the river and mountains. It was an incredible view and clean hotel. We absolutely LOVED it!
Cons: Breakfast only went until 10am. We slept in one day and weren't able to get the complementary breakfast. Other than that, it was a great hotel experience..
Pros: The staff was amazing. We checked in Thursday, March 5th around 9:00 pm in the evening. I wish I could remember the name of the front desk host because he was so nice. He met us at the train station, got wine for us and ensured that we had breakfast when we woke up at 6:00 before heading to Machu Picchu. The breakfast/dinner room staff - a very young man was so nice and attentive. The rooms were very clean and we were very happy staying there. Thank you
Cons: The coffee in the coffee pot was not warm.
Pros: Excellent staff at front desk.

Pros: At first glance we thought Adelas was in perfect location! 5 minute walk from PeruRail station and the Machu Picchu bus stop. The room was comfortable for the price. Clean sheets and towels.
Cons: Our room was faced the railroad tracks so as we tried to rest early for our Machu Picchu trek we would hear a loud train speed by and honk an extremely loud horn. The last train passed around 11:30pm... We were in bed at 9pm and could not sleep. It would be nice if the hotel offered ear plugs to help guests sleep.
Pros: Enjoyed staying here. Loved the hot shower!! My friend and I were very happy about that. Our host was incredibly sweet and helpful with whatever we needed. Room was very clean. It was convienently located - 4 min from the train station and about 5 min to the Machu Picchu bus stop.
Cons: I guess the downside would be we had the side where the train passes through, so it was loud. However, it didn't really both us and after Machu Picchu, we completely knocked out. The other side is the river and maybe would've been more quiet? The one thing that did really bother us is after we got our laundry done from them (they take it to another place), was that we had some pinkish/reddish marks on some of our clothes. It was minor but didn't realize it until it was too late. We couldn't figure out what it was exactly, and it seems to slowly come off...? Other than that, everything was great.
Pros: View was amazing and we liked the food on site for the great deal. They accommodated our early departure to include our breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
Pros: Friendly welcome and great staff. They went out of their way to help us. We asked for directions to a restaurant--since they didn't speak much English, the gal just walked us to the restaurant instead of trying to explain it. We were able to get a room on the river side. We did not hear the trains at night. Slept well in the room. Room had a TV but did not turn it on. Large windows that you needed to crack open to keep moisture out. Nice HOT showers. Complimentary decent breakfast in the morning. Free Wifi that worked well in the common areas. Water available for purchase. Good location. Hotel held our luggage while we were at MP. They took our credit cards.
Cons: No outlets in the bathroom, small beds but ok for two nights, no safe in room but our belongings were fine.
Pros: nice staff
close to train station
let's us store out bags next day and use wifi
Cons: the local forex rate they used which was clearly inflated. 2.86
rather that they used a normal rate and that the booking showed a more true value.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of local and international dishes. Shuttle services and tour guides are provided. Adelas Hostal is a 10 minute walk from Aguas Calientes hot springs.
Cons: There was some sort of construction in the upper floor, right above the room assigned to us. And from the check-in time onwards, that evening the place was extremely noisy and we were not even notified of it.
