The beauty of the vineyards and orchards, the water tank and the whole floor in stone form the perfect canvas living of the rural environment. And here, a place that nature favored, the Quinta da Picaria is built, proving to be a perfect specimen of the farmhouses of the eighteenth century, and where it comes under a cozy gazebo. Legend has it that this place Viriato have built a base of support to fight against the advancing Roman history held by the remnants of forts on the hill of the Assumption, leafy elevation snuggles and all this immense valley through which flows the Leça that, curiously, is based its source inside. The left sees who comes to the former home of the home, built in granite rough, which today serves to welcome guests. Inside the rooms, remained a source that already existed: the wood, the floor and the ceiling. The furniture is simple and does not clash with the architecture. In front of this building is still a one-story house, equipped with fireplace and sofas, which serves as the living room. Through the window can still spot was a small garden. On a higher plane and separated by a small gate, one finds the family home that has in front of the threshing floor from which still remain the home of the cereals and dry cellar, with its mill and store to store kites - all construction of the nineteenth century. In this place, nothing disturbs the serenity. On hot days, nothing is more flavorful taste of the wine produced in the green Thursday.Deshacer cambios
