10.0 Excellent
Pros: Villa Thai Orchid is the perfect place to stay in Chiang Mai. Excellent position, rooms are super clean (I've never seen a hotel so clean!), staff is super kind and polite: they gave us suggestions about restaurants, café, yoga class and monks chat and every advice turned out to be great. There are many options for breakfast: we tried the 'english style', the one with yogurt and fruits and the french toast (they also prepared a packed breakfast the day we left early in the morning, so yummy!) and they were all delicious. I definitly recommend it, probably the best hotel we have ever stayed!
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect!
10.0 Excellent

Cons: That I couldn’t stay longer

Pros: Friendly owners who went out of their way to personalize our stay and to ensure that our needs were met. They were very accommodating with our early check in and late check out times, offered lots of great advice on local activities and restaurants and helped us book a day trip. Daily laundry service and delicious made to order breakfasts were great bonuses. Would highly recommend!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Only a minute walk from Wat Chedi Luang and easy walking distance from everything else in the Old City. The made to order breakfast was outstanding and there was unlimited water and snacks available all day. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, with a bonus balcony for those overlooking the street. Free laundry service is included and the staff are always willing to help with travel tips and directions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The super clean hotel is well located in the heart of old town. The staff Mi, who is very attentive, helpful and responsive, provided a personal touch in the service during our 3-night stay! I miss the western breakfast she prepared which is very much better than the cafe.My friend and i enjoyed our different-option late breakfast at the quiet breakfast room with a garden view. The free laundry is a bonus for us. There are a few Lila Massage outlets just within walking distance from the hotel. The masseuses are professional and skillful. The outlets are very clean, that is the priority we choose the massage. While we paid 300 Thai Baht from ChiangMai airport to hotel, Mi helped us arrange a taxi with 150 Thai Baht from hotel to airport.

Pros: Great breakfast. Good location for exploring the old city. The staff was very friendly. The air conditioning was good enough to adequately cool the room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful spacious suite, fantastic peaceful resort! We wholeheartedly loved it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 137 Pillars House is a real sanctuary in the middle of busy Chiang Mai. The buildings are genuinely stunning and the rooms are superb. I would say the staff are a real asset, our butler Toto was easily the most helpful member of staff I've had the pleasure of meeting at any hotel anywhere in the World. He really helped make our time in Chiang Mai memorable and stress-free.
Cons: The pool area was pretty but did get a little shaded. I found the afternoon tea and room service food a little disappointing but the other food in the hotel was excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Over
Cons: Over expectations
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 137 pillars had a certain personality and charm to itself that comes to properties who have a little bit of history in their stories. My husband and I specially loved the Jack Bain’s bar which was beautiful. The attention to detail at the property from the decor to the staff is extremely high. We loved everything about the hotel and are sure to go back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the outdoor shower!
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Their Lenin were as clean as we expected. Garden is well appointed around the court yard that has the ancient 137 pillars teak building as focal structure.
Cons: Access road in the old city neighborhood with narrower street and no foot path for pedestrians, must share the road surface with vehicles and motor cycles. A rather risky situation for neighborhood walking enjoyment.

Pros: Amazing boutique Hotel, stunning property, every detail very well taken care off. Cutest restaurant, every plate is served with such beautiful presentation. The best part of our stay was the hotel staff, we were very well taken care off, personalized experience. Can’t thank Annie enough for how she oversaw and help arrange details of our stay, including personalized our day tours. Made our stay a memorable one. We will be back!
Cons: Did not find anything I didn’t like.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We stay for 9 days and have wonderful breakfast everyday!!! The swimming pool is excellent!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful grounds, pool and ambience.
Cons: Room maybe a little small.
7.0 Good
Pros: It is quite conveniently located, only a few minutes walk away from the Anusarn night bazaar and city centre. The restaurant is cute and sits next to the river. We were given a bottle of wine, a fruit platter and a very cute high tea set which were included in the price of the room
Cons: The room we booked was called a corner suite. We wanted to have a slightly more luxurious place to pamper ourselves, as we have had a very hectic few months before this vacation but the room however did not feel like a suite. I did confirm a couple of times with the staff taking me to the room if it was the right type of room that we booked, as the room was nothing bigger than a standard room in any 4-5 star hotel in Asia. The bathroom was very spacious, however. At almost USD400 a night we don’t think it is value for money, compared to other places we have stayed in Thailand and Asia.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place. Rooms, restaurants, swimming pool and décoration were perfect. Staffs were all very kindly and gave us very good advices in order to organize our activities and tours.
Cons: Every thing was good. No complain from myself.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, it’s perfect
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is quite OK and it is along the river, under the big tree. Really enjoyed it! The staff are all very friendly and the doormen are definitely a plus for this wonderful stay. They greet you everytime we go out and back, and they would always give suggestions on where we are going.
Cons: Huge thank you to the hotel for giving us a upgrade. Building B was awesome. The room is quite packed and it does not have a bathtub inside. If you want to relax a bit with a bathtub, go for royal deluxe.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere, food and impeccable service!
Cons: Bed was like a plank of wood. Like sleeping on an ironing board.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff and service was excellent
Cons: Could use more draw space in the room for clothing.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: We have stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.Fresh fruits and free drinks always available. High quality breakfast, served in a location of choice. Free shuttle service available. Very personal service with individual recommendations for trips. Outstanding service - surprised us every day without interupting privacy. Quite and luxurious atmosphere. Perfect for relaxation.
Cons: Gym could be bigger.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We received an email an hour after made a booking from reception to check if we needed a transfer which was super helpful as we hadn't even though about it! From the moment we were collected at the airport to the moment we were dropped off in town on our last morning, the team were very attentive and thoughtful, we were spoiled. There are some nice touches that we don't want to share here as it would spoil the surprise!! we enjoyed fabulous breakfasts served in our gorgeous room - we had our own private outdoor area, a living area and a lovely bathroom. The ambiance of the whole property is stylish and luxurious without being pretentious... a very relaxing place to be. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool and spa but we were out visiting the area during the day times! Thanks to the team for making this part of our trip so special!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like everything in this resort.
Cons: Nothing.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Quietness, the nice garden
Cons: Swimming pool without sun
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Splendid hotel. Service is fabulous
Cons: If you are a light sleeper, AC in the room is quite noisy
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff who would go above and beyond. Extremely clean rooms, with great touches like free fruit basket everyday. Fantastic bed. Fantastic breakfast hamper. Very accomodating with our 4 month old baby! All of the rooms were very private and spacious so you could hardly tell anyone else was staying there.
Cons: The location meant you always had to get a shuttle or taxi into town, even for basics like a coffee. I also felt there weren't enough places to lounge around. Given that it was supposed to be a place to retreat - they could use a few more lounge-y furniture!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great convenient location close to everything and yet still secluded. Friendly staff all over the resort and a great gem

Pros: One of the best Four Seasons I have ever been to. Impressed by its thoughtfully designed local experiences. Guests can easily find quite interesting activities in the resort. The view is just amazing!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I loved the room, the bed was extra comfortable. Also the poolside staff were attentive and very professional. 4 days was the perfect amount of time.
Cons: Restaurant choice was a little limited. After 4 days we would really run out of options.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Quite noisy at night because of the bar nearby
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very peaceful, excellent facilities, extremely well maintained. A beautiful outlook.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect
Cons: All perfect
6.3 Good
Pros: great view and a lot of trees and plants here
Cons: too much extra promotions that we don’t need, like asking me if upgrade the suite with paying more, or like in the restaurant, crazily introducing coconut water again and again with me said i don’t want that
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The best out of everything is their healing effects. Nestled deep in mountainous area in upper Chiangmai, it offers a cooler, cleaner breeze and weather. Their therapists and masseurs are well educated and really know what their doing. Yoga experience also great, and I love their yoga barn overlooking water and paddy fields. We stayed at Residence 10. I was booking the residence very early, it says max. 2 persons. I asked for extra bed for adult; they charged me a 3rd person but open another room in the residence, instead of setting up extra bed for us. We're not people who enjoy having butler around with us along the stay, as we are more private and we prefer to do everything by ourselves - but it's ok anyway. Breakfast selections are great and offers fresh local delicacies, although I expect more choices from a chain 5-stars. Their coconut jam is exceptionally light and yummy. Hospitable staffs are attentive and quick in response. Having a beautifully maintained lush green surrounding, their balconies in the residence are great spots for spending time by painting or reading books. Too bad they not keeping it as clean as they keep their indoors. Some of the windows also not well maintained it stucks when you try opening - also too bad especially with their fragrant air right after heavy pouring rain.
Cons: Balconies and bathrooms are not as clean as expected.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Best hospitality ever! We were disturbed by construction noise near our first room and management shiftly prepared a new room. Staff were all very welcoming and warm. The chat app made the experience even better with real time responses. Will definitely make a visit again.

Pros: Great culinair restaurant with very kind and well trainer people. Great service, great cooking. Not cheap though...

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic service and attention to detail! Nothing was too much for the staff and they will go that extra step to make sure you’re happy!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were so friendly and always keen to help. Gym and rooftop pool with bar are really nice. Rooms are fresh, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. All the bathroom products one might need are provided. Various nice little touches such as a chocolate with your name printed on it as a little gift on check-in. Food is extraordinary. The breakfast is fantastic with various choices. Both restaurants also have excellent dinner options. The oxygen restaurant is a little pricey, but very worth it. The food is delicious and they provide one with a large variety of appetisers and mini deserts on the house. Overall, it was just a fantastic stay!
Cons: Just a small thing: Reception told us one could have breakfast in the room as a special perk, but when we actually requested that in the restaurant, they said it wasn't really a thing. Not that this was the end of the world, as the breakfast in the restaurant was fantastic, but it shouldn't really be that one department advertises something that is then not available.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love a hotel interior design , a pool and la carte breakfast. Staffs is very nice and helpful
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful to me in planning my tours, making it seamless and easy. Dinner at Oxygen restaurant was outstanding!

Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A shuttle from the hotel to the airport is complimentary (available on request).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent - very friendly staff, beautiful grounds, lovely swimming pool and sauna, delicious food, and great location.
Cons: Was a little bit noisy when people slammed their doors but no big deal really
5.0 Okay
Pros: The rooms were spacious and the staff were polite. The spa bath was nice
Cons: The staff were slow to think and act to situations. Breakfast was poor quality. We stayed an extra night to do more trips from Chiang Mai and were ‘upgraded’ but actually found the pool access room to be worse than our original room due to noise levels from the pool and restaurant and people being able to see into the rooms. There was no conditioner provided and the toiletries were secured to the shower, even the bath foam and body lotion which was completely impractical and seemed to suggest that guests couldn’t be trusted. Room service regularly took over 24 hours to be removed from outside bedrooms which was disgusting. Compared to our other hotels we stayed at in Thailand this hotel was very disappointing and we didn’t understand how it was rated so highly
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel and incredibly friendly staff that go out of their way to make sure you have the most comfortable stay ever.
Cons: Beds were a little firm - but nothing to really complain about.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent and beautiful hotel. The staff were so helpful and attentive. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel in Chiang Mai..!!
Cons: The beds were a little hard but all the beds we slept in during our trip to Thailand were this way.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location and style of the rooms
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good Location Breakfast not too bad Swimmingpool very nice
Cons: Door from room ist not secure Too many Chinese tourist Too small restauraunt
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel. Restaurant opens up to koi pond, fountain, and lovely pool surrounded by trees. I went on this trip with my 11-year-old daughter. Staying at Pingviman hotel saved our trip. We were able to walk five minutes to the Sunday night bazaar. The hotel helped us book day excursions, and directed us to many activities. Staff was kind, and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was AMAZING- but my VERY picky eater stuck to bread, scrambled eggs, and bacon. Room was beautiful, clean, and had Netflix (made my kid super happy). We also had our laundry done by hotel, it came back clean, but the laundromat across the street would have been better (I didn’t see it until the last day). Highly recommended for both families and/or couples. Easy walk to dozens of temples/wats, shopping, cafes, and street food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! First time in Chiang Mai and so pleased we picked the Pingviman Hotel.
Cons: Nothing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff here were incredible. We stayed for 3 nights as part of a trip to Thailand and they could not have done more. Upgraded us to the presidential suite on arrival and helped us with many many questions / booking taxis in the cheap Thai app they have (so you don’t get scammed) / also managed to find our mobile phone we lost in cab - we kept offering money as a thank you for driving it back to the hotel and both the hotel staff and the cab driver was insisting on not taking it (probably a cultural thing). Buffet breakfast was fine - they make fresh omelette and bacon in front of you / fresh breads / few noodle and rice dishes that seemed more like dinner but good if you want to pack things for the day. Pool is lovely and relaxing but in the shade - don’t expect sun. Rooms are big and nice but a bit dark. The spa bath is a 10/10 - excellent. Above all, location here is excellent. Walking distance to the Sunday night market and loads and loads of really nice food places nearby if you want to eat out / street food. Also the on-site tourist box in the hotel (and the woman who works there) were so so helpful - took care if everything for us from elephant trips, to zip lining and even a pub crawl. She also had excellent English which helped a lot in terms of contacting all of the places in advance to check when they’d be collecting us, what to bring, and when we would be dropped back to the hotel (so that you can plan the rest of your day).
Cons: Room a bit dark - but overall, loved it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel! Nice swimmingpool. Large rooms with a large shower. Breakfast was very nice.
Cons: The rooms are a bit noisy.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: My family and I were really impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the room. We liked the fact that the hotel was not too large so it was easy for us to access the restraunt and pool

Cons: The room had a small problem with ants but the staff were very helpful and came with a spray as soon as we noticed. A small lizard also got into the room while we were out even though all doors were closed. Maybe the room could be better sealed with a draft blocker at the foot of the door as there is a very small gap.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, great breakfast.
Cons: The water of swimming pool is not very clean.

Pros: Great location at the centre of town
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice decor and excellent service
5.8 Okay
Pros: Decoration and location.
Cons: Service is awful. It is not that people working there are far away from thai service, is that they are like robots and everything you asked is like you were bothering them. No Client Orientation at all. Some exceptions, like always. Additionally, the breakfast was significantly below the standard for a hotel like this in Thailand. We have been travelling through the country and breakfast were simply amazing. Here you will find: cheap row material, bad cooking, and limited options in basics like fruit. But the worst was that they assigned us a different room from the one we booked through booking. When I booked the room, I had the option to chose a room with balcony or a room with access to the swimming pool. I choose balcony because we wanted some privacy and the assigned us a room with direct access to the swimming pool claiming that the ground terrace was a balcony. I asked them why the make a difference with the booking if there is no such a difference between a balcony and a ground terrace (all rooms with direct access to the pool have ground terrace). She smile and say: “I am sorry, we are fully booked and there are no more rooms. If you want you can change tomorrow to a different room”. They make a mistake, either assigning our room to someone else or promoting in booking more rooms with balcony than the ones they really have. I can understand that you make a mistake, but I would have expected any kind of compensation like a discount in the room price, a dinner, or a free cocktail at the pool, .... whatever but something on exchange of your mistake.

A short tuk tuk ride to the night markets. The rooms are large and spacious. The pool area is lovely - the pol the perfect temperature! Highly recommend.

Pros: Location of hotel was very ideal. Close to a lot of fantastic eateries. Would like to give Ms. Eye from reception a shoutout. She was very attentive and friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the comfort of the room, the pillows and bed, the expresso machine in room, music in room. the superb restaurant's food and decoration + service. the area of shopping and other restaurants selection
Cons: A bit complicated lighting controls in the bedroom side , the shower head not practical, you need one hand to use it since its hanger is placed much too low and not movable, will be easy to set a new movable hanger head at higher place
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean rooms and excellent staff.
Cons: Not many options for breakfast and a little pricey.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amzing.super friendly yet professional staff will defnitly go back time and again. One of the best hotels I've stayed at.staff made you feel all that important the only place to stay in Chiang mai

Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best Hotel in all my life. Excelent staff. The best for my honeymoon. Thanks a lot
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good location, spacious and modern room (suites) and excellent service from staff. The breakfast and dinner at Italics Restaurant were excellent. So were their recommendations of restaurants to go to
Cons: The water heater system in shower did not work well with the hot water coming on only when I’m finishing my shower
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like the location and comfort of guest room. Staff is polite and friendly. The security staff is my most impressive as he is the first one greeting me, very friendly and helpful. All other staffs are great too!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It's very convenience and comfortable for our family, with 3 small kids aged 3,5,6. The extra bed fits perfectly beside the large bed. The kids enjoy the big bathtub a lot. The staffs (fronts, security guards) were really helpful and friendly! Many good restaurants, cafe and shops nearby. We will surely going back!
Cons: Some towels were a bit old. But overall is good. The taste of the food were just average for us. Also, we don't like the curtain decoration in each floor. It looks weird and hopefully you clean the curtain very often, or else it will be dusty and not good for people with allergy.
6.8 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: The staff accessed to our room during the cocktail time and sent us goodnight drink. But they didn't mention to me regarding the goodnight drink during check in, so we were in a frightened when we found someone access to our room without our permission after we got back from shopping around.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very stylish, well located and very friendly staff
Cons: The rooms didn’t have drawers for the clothes so we had to keep everything in our bags
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff make me feel that I was home. The staff serving breakfast were extremely sweet. I’ll like to go back with my family.
Cons: Lack of closet or place to put our clothes.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, great service. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety (but not amazing). Front desk was able to help answer any questions we had. Room was tidy. Location was central. They provided toiletries every day (toothbrush, comb). The inside of the hotel is beautiful.
Cons: Bed was not the comfiest. Room did not include bathrobe but not really expected at the price point of the hotel. Shower is open so the water leaks a little to the bathroom floor, but not a huge deal with a towel on the floor to soak it up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Firstly, the location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the city and there are good bars and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is beautiful, whoever designed the interior really deserves an award. Finally, and the best part, was the staff all of whom were very helpful and informative. Charming. Oh, and the bed was really comfortable too.
6.3 Good
Pros: front counter and restaurant staffs were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: My family and I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights, I’d like to share a safety concern that is very disappointing and ruined our trip. The safety of the shower area was very poor, the floors did not have slip-resistant bathmats or a slip-resistant surface, and it was not equipped with any safety bars. This is a 4-star hotel, basic expectations are that the place is safe and family friendly. Unfortunately, my elderly mother slipped and fell in shower on our third night. We called the front desk and the lady knew so little English that she wasn’t able to assist us and we were forced to wait until next day morning to let another hotel staff member know what happened. She tried to offer some room services for breakfast and lunch, and placed a slip-resistant pad in the shower. However, my mom was already badly injured with head, arm, neck, lower back and legs bruises. She was in so much pain from the fall and in traumatic shock. To help her with the pain, we asked for the hotel to provide a spa treatment to help loosen and relax her tension and muscles. The staff then asked us to pay 50%. We are back home now, my mother was taken to a hospital and luckily she did not have nighties that were very serious or any broken bones but of course we were very inconvenienced, she has suffered emotional and physical pain and suffering and it is disappointing that hotel management has not contacted us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room and nice staffs
Cons: The light of the hotel room is warm yellow which is not preferable for ladies doing their make up.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful. Staff amazing. Best location!
Cons: Thin walls. Heard people having sex. No restaurant. Breakfast was so so.

Pros: Wow, we absolutely loved our stay here. The staff was so sweet and so accommodating, they even let us check in way early, we didn't even have to ask! The room was so cute and the A/C worked awesome, shower was nice and hot, balcony was a huge plus. Breakfast was great, they would cook to order the hot food everyday!!!!!They would clean our room so quickly, we would go to breakfast, come back and they had already fixed up the room! Perfect location...literally you can walk out of the hotel, turn right, there are plenty of good places to eat, get a massage, or see a little market at the end of the street, but it is still on a part of the street that feels quiet. It was a perfect 6 night stay! Thank you Chada Mantra!!!
Cons: Nothing! We loved it and wished we could have stayed longer, only reason we didn't was cause our flight was already booked!

Cons: Book for two people but only bring one breakfast. Charge for secretary coffee a bit of a cheek I thought!
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was great, next to a shopping mall and it’s very near to the airport. Hotel provided free transfer to airport also for our early morning flight at 6.15am. It’s only a few mins drive to the airport and driver was very punctual! Hotel also provided good breakfast take away even when our airport transfer was at 5am.
Cons: Toilet bowl’s flushing was poor. Needed to flush few times every time! There’s ants at the basin of toilet. Noise from the aircon was very loud! We didn’t have good rest/sleep. Some wooden furniture seemed old or not in good condition. It seemed that I was sensitive to the bed linens or something as I itched from head to toes while sleeping on the bed. I woke up with my face being red and I’m still itching now after 19 hours.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very thorough and hospitable. They did a great job in representing U Nimman, above helpful and always attentive. The rooms were immaculate; clean, great value for money, and luxurious, and most importantly a very comfortable bed. We only had breakfast at their restaurant, but absolutely loved the quality and diversity on offer. Not to mention, the market style theme in which it is possible to watch the chefs prepare a fresh dish on the spot. Not only would I return to U Nimman, I highly reccomend this hotel, and would happily stay for longer in the future.
Cons: Cannot really list many negatives. Would prefer if the rooms were a little more soundproof, could hear sounds from corridor.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was very modern with a really nice rooftop pool. Location was great, opposite the shopping mall, restaurants in walking distance and not far from the old town. Breakfast buffet had everything you could possibly want and eggs were cooked fresh to order.

6.5 Good
Pros: The staff were generally friendly. If your looking for a hotel next to a big shopping mall this is the place for you. The breakfast was good.
Cons: We booked a king size room and they tried to put us in a room with two twin beds. Not great when your celebrating your anniversary. After much negotiation they found us a room (~45 min). Once we were settled in the new room it was much better. The room was small and dark. There wasn’t a fan in the washroom. It also needed a good deep cleaning but was clean on the surface.
