The view was wonderful, close to Ravello, a good place for walking, The only problem was the water pressure in the bathroom
The hotel is set in a beautiful place, where it is possible to enjoy the breath-taking landscape of the Costiera. The rooms are comfortable and very tidy, and the prices are very good. Most of all, the staff is very friendly and they show exquisite kindness. I definitely recommend it for a pleasant stay.
We stayed in Villa Guiseppina and felt instantly welcome - all the family and staff were very friendly. The pool and all public areas were spacious. The special poolside evenigs were great - and the restaurant where we had a couple of lunches was excellent. We had a lovely double room, but it had a third bed in it, which made it a little cramped with no room for a bedside cabinet on both sides of the bed.
Villa Giuseppina overlooks beautiful Ravello. Our room was towards the sunrise and the view was magnificant. The hotel is oldstyle elegant -remembering that this is only 3 stars- and we had a nice time in the quiet surroundings.
Really a family run hotel operated by father and son with well chosen staff. Outstanding views to die for. Rooms spotless although on small size. Staff were friendly and went the extra mile. In a quiet location. Ideal for couples.
The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant balcony overlooking the coast was splendid. The hotel reception is close to the top of the building, with most of the rooms on floors one to five. To exit and enter the hotel, one has to get a lift from the lobby down two floors, then walk 50m through narrow corridors, then descend another few floors in a different lift. The rooms are spotless, but soulless, and in general the hotel lacks atmosphere compared to neighbouring hotels in this beautiful but very quiet town.
I loved the scenery/great view of the ocean from the hotel terrace, and location - Ravello was a magical town! Windows/walls were thin and could hear outside street noise
The fantastic views and central location, the rooftop terrace and dining area.
Everything was new and the bed extremely comfortable. Restaurant only in its fledgling infancy so no atmosphere and breakfast limited. Staff very helpful and most obliging. Lastly the cost was at the high end of expensive but Ravello is one of those locations where it is I suppose inevitable.
This newly opened hotel in a beautiful former private home is an as yet undiscovered gem. The location is stunning with all rooms having wonderful sea views, some with balconies. The staff are all very friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend this hotel
location to the square was cool view from our room wonderfull breakfast on the terrace so relaxing.this was my favourite hotel of our trip. I will return.
Very beautiful. some of staff was like new and not nice, but some of them were very very kind. Our room was standard. Noisy from outside deli or cafe.
1. The location of this hotel is just perfect. 2. The staffs were helpful. Nothing particular.
The location and convenience is excellent The lack of alternative areas to the bar to sit in. Whilst we were there there was a wedding party that closed the bar to other guests. This left us with nowhere else to go. The wedding party should have been put elsewhere in the hotel.
The hotel is very well located just below the main attractions and the main piazza. The staff was attentive and informative. We were most appreciative that arrangements were made for us to be able to have breakfast even though we were leaving earlier than the scheduled starting time. We really had no complaints.
The pool and the locationl. Ravello is a beautiful town/village and the hotel is near the bus stop and only a couple minute walk from the main square. Once in Ravello it is very easy to reach the hotel. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The hotel might consider running a shuttle service or offer a collection service from the port/bus stop in Amalfi. It is very hard to get to the hotel on the bus with luggage (the buses are small in order to navigate around the windy roads) and a short taxi ride from Amalfi to Ravello costs €30. It wouldn't put me off the hotel or Ravello though.
The location to the centre of Ravello was good. We had booked and pre-paid fully for the room as part of a deal. We were then unable to stay the first night, but because we had already paid I did not think I needed to inform them. They however sold our room as we hadn't shown up and we were given a lesser one the following night. I think as we had pre-paid it should have been kept for us. The staff were very unfriendly when dealing with this issue.
Food, service and the view. Room was a little small. Lounge bar area is archaic and out dated. A bit tight with the soap and shampoo!
view, silence, location nothing worth mentioning
Its central location and ability to leave the car in car parking. Access to the internet was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Excellent Service from Fornt Desk, and stunning views. Good clean rooms
Views we were placed in the older part of the hotel, unfortunately the walls of these rooms were very thin and you were able to hear the occupants of the rooms around you, above and alongside. One night we were kept awake until 4 am
Beautiful setting It is too difficult to get to Ravello for the evening - hotel should offer transport to Ravello and possibly other locations for the convenience of their guests
location and the relaxed atmosphere
The most beautiful location. Totally stunning. STaff very friendly. Should be more courtesy buses to Amalfi/Ravello.
the staff were very helpful rooms need a makeover - they are dated and tired. Shower wasn't big enough to turn around in
the food and proximity to the sea. Thats a plus at Costa Amalfi. For the price, was expecting a bigger room and bathroom, but not a big deal, considering that is an old construction.
Great meals, views ,swimming, Enjoyed the hike up to Revello. The staff were kind and helpful. It would be nice to have the shuttle available in the late afternoon or perhaps at 2 pm rathr than having to wait until 6:30 pm
The food was excellent and the service and staff were wonderful The location was great Its location is confusing - it would be useful if the website could state that the hotel is on the Amalfi coast road (ie not in the middle of Ravello) and that it's a Best Western - everything else was great.
great location, excellent friendly staff and and very good food.
Perfect location right by the sea, with uninterrupted sun. Ideal for exploring Amalfi coast. Unsuitable for those with dodgy pins!
Staff were extremely helpful
Huge bedroom and bathroom, modern and clean, excellent staff assistance, center of Ravello just below piazzo duomo Small continental breakfast, overlooked a carpark on one side but center of Ravello which is why we stayed here
The Staffs was very kind and nice.
peaceful, spacious rooms, great breakfast on terrace, views of hills lovely. wifi useless, and an unexpected car park location - not a problem in October, but not clear at booking.
The location was perfect as my family (older children) and I were visiting Ravello for a family wedding in the square above the hotel. Pietro and Anna, the owners, were very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend this hotel.
Pietro and his staff were very helpful. The room was bright and clean and the scenery was beautiful. The continental breakfast was great and nicely served. Proximity to Ravello musical concerts was a plus.
The location is fantastic as it is a 30 second walk from the main Piazza (Dumo). The hotel / b&b is a fantastic find, the rooms are lovely and large with a nice finish. The staff are fantastic and really very attentive and willing to help in any way they can. The continental breakfast is very nice. N/A
The room was large with an excellent shower and the breakfasts were freshley prepared by the owners. Lack of view - our room was on the ground level.
Brand new rooms with 2 rooms and 2 flat screen TVs, lovely tiles, nice shower, bidet and toiletries Had ants and many flies in the room at check in and after cleaning staff were in
Excellent rooms for a very reasonable price! The location is brilliant, right next to Ravello Square. Very simply run hotel but we were extremely happy with everything. No nothing, everything was brilliant!
new small hotel, good location to visit Ravello. big rooms very clean, staff (one person) service very good. Parking in public area, cost 10-15 euro a day.
The view from my room is spectacular, so with the view from the dining area. The hotel owner is very helpful and nice. It is not well signposted. You need to carry your luggage upstairs but I got the hotel owner help me.
Very quaint terrace overlooking a great view of the bay. The recently finished Neimeyer Amphitheater can be viewed from the terrace. The breakfast could be improved
We were very impressed by the location and character of this hotel. Its terrace shaded by lemon trees offered stunning views of the Amalfi coast.
Newly refurbished and well kept B&B, with comfortable bed and bathroom. No frills or luxury, but a magnificent view on Minori and the Costiera and held by a very friendly and helpful couple.very reasonably priced mini bar
very pleasant staff, comfortable relaxing and good value
loved the pool. and the food at their sister hotel, villa maria was incredible as was the cooking class!! everyone was quite lovely!
Convenient for town. Excellent pool.
Helpful staff, good location, excellent facilities including parking garage in difficult area and remarkably large swimming pool. Comfortable room and very good breakfast.
The location of the hotel was very central. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Swimming pool was a big plus as Ravello is inland. Thought the staff could have been friendlier. It doesn't cost anything to smile..
The pool is amazing and on eof only 2 or 3 that are centarlly located
Pretty hotel. Not 4 star as I understand that phrase in that there were no in-house bar/restaurant facilities. Comfortable and quiet. Convenient to Ravello itself and to Amalfi. Lack of facilities within hotel itself. Swimming pool did not look clean at all times. Room cleaning staff too eagar to get room cleaned whether the timing of same suited the guest. No "Do not Disturb" signs available. TV stations very limited.
Deborah and Franseca were amazing , Pasquale and all of the staff there made us feel like royalty. It was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had! We will be back. I loved everything about this hotel.
I had a wonderful experience. The town of Ravello is so quiet and scenic. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and friendly. There could be no better view than the one from your hotel.
Nice small hotel. However, does seem to have been kept up and maintained. View.
Outstanding view, from our junior sweet and from Restaurant
The location is outstanding, as were the staff. Swimming pool was a kilometre away and not in a "NEIGHBOURING HOTEL" as stated on the hotel web site... no lift... and guests were excluded from the restaurant and bar when the hotel hosted weddings (two)
Beautiful views from a nice garden very impresive reception area & nice terrace for restuarant. Helpfull reception staff in planning drive to Napels airport. Bottom of shower curtain was dirty. I wasn't told breakfast was included when checking in.
location and view we considered that the room we stayed in (romantica) to be dangerous.there were 6 to 8 stairs going down to bathroom. there was a low ceiling tunnel to walk thru (about 5 feet 11 inches) to get to bedroom. lighting was very poor.
Location, staff, grand lobby. We were upgraded to the Romantic room which had a fabulous view. Being 5 star, I would have thought there would have been a swimming pool (I didn't check, just assumed). No big deal for us though, we preferred to drive down to the coast for the beach.
Amazing views. Fabulous Public areas. Rooms needs makeover. Internet service not available in the rooms.
Staff were terrific - views from room outstanding - very comfortable room.
The hotel location and the amazing view from the rooms. The fact that the rooms had balconies and the windows opened. The historic beauty of the building interior. Pool. The roof top terrace is undercapitalised and we would have spent more time there if there was a bar/music/some atmosphere as it is the best spot.
The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient plus the setting of the hotel was magnificent. We most certainly will consider taking a break there again.
friendly, efficient and welcoming staff, fabulous views, great location no
We went to Ravello for a wedding and the Bonadies was ideally situated for access to the Town Hall, square and restaurants. The staff were charming and extremely helpful. The facilities at the hotel were good and, whilst the swimming pool and sun lounge area were small they provided an excellent opportunity for relaxing after the wedding. A great hotel which I would visit again.
real nice staff and amazing views. Hotel is in need of some minor upgrades, but location and friendliness of employess make up for it.
Very nice room, beautiful views and great pool. Breakfast was also good. Expensive - although not by Rivallo standards. No fridge in room, extra charge for bedding for two young children.
Fabulous staff, great hotel with quirky terraces and pool. Tranquil in a tourist filled area. Good restaurant overlooking the sea and mountains.
Helpful staff,Unique location,
The classic Amalfi coast postcard view is unique. The terrace restaurant combines this view with an excellent cuisine and service featuring fresh fish and seafood. Rooms are very clean. Beds are comfortable.
The lack of vegetables and not very helpful dining room staff
Excellent panoramic views from room, terrace and garden area. Free car parking. Friendly helpful staff. Small room and tiny balcony for "superior room" . Room furnishings and fittings showing their age. Sat TV but CNN and BBC World not available in rooms.
Lovely surroundings in a very nice hotel
The ambience of Ravello itself rather than the hotel & its facilities For a so called 4 star hotel this left a lot to be desired. The attitude of the staff was frankly surprising. In Italy one expects empathy and understanding. The reception staff could not have cared less. When we arrived we asked for an upgrade for asea view, they expected us to pay the full rack rate despite the fact that the place was half empty. around the pool no umbrellas were provided; there was no service. In order to obtain shade w were expected to sit under trees. On asking to see the manager to complain, we were told they didn't know where she was and in any case she was very busy...
I liked the scenery most of all, the way the rugged mountains jutted out of the beautiful sea, and the design of the ancient architecture, and the beautifull plants and flowers that complimented the scenery, and the tranquil atmosphere of the area.
The location offered amazing views. The staff could not have been more helpful. We had pre booked some concert tickets they were ready for collection and a member of staff collected them for us without us asking! Nothing was too much trouble all the staff in every department we met were well trained and friendly. We were a bit dissapointed with our room.We had pre booked two months earlier but found due to the hotel hosting weddings many of the rooms were booked. It would have been useful to us to have know how busy the hotel was going to be when we booked, we could have arrived a few days later and enjoyed more peace. The hotel stay was a special birthday treat for my wife but we were not able to dine in the restaurant as the hotel was busy with wedding parties- however we dined out locally with amazing food and excellent views - this is why people go to Ravello!! Although we had a view we had requested balcony with sea view and we were offered either no balcony with good view or balcony with sea view interrupted by hotel rooftops!!
Magnificent views from the (superior)bedroom. Easy to go to and return from the centre of Positano by bus. In November, almost every restaurant is closed, also the resto from the hotel.
beautiful location, wonderful area for dining outside, views no tea making facilities in the room, slightly disapointing room for such a hotel
The location views cuisine were all superb. The Hotel is situated in a perfect location with everything close at hand.
Beautiful hotel, outstanding views, and incredible service
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, fantastic views, booked a superior room and asked for balcony - got one with just wonderful views! Girls on reception particularly helpful, went out of their way to help. Wonderful eggs at breakfast. Free parking was a real bonus. Served what they called 'crispy bacon' at breakfast which looked boiled! My husband loves bacon but didn't eat one slice as so unappetizing. Staff at breakfast were quite miserable which didn't fit with the rest of the hotel staff.Food and wine in restaurant a bit overpriced and overated.
The hotel front desk staff were not only very pleasant, but happy and knowledgeful. Spoke excellent English. The food was excellent and the wait staff were perfect. Maid service was very good. View was also very good from room #5. Loved the classical music ! The bed was a bid hard for us.
Quiet and scenic, with excellent food. Nice place to relax.
We were so taken with Ravello that we decided to stay an extra night and the hotel were very helpful and moved us to what we thought was a better room; the first was in the garden and a bit spartan. The great feature of this hotel is the restaurant which has occupies a terrace with magnificant views as well as serving excellent food, some of it grown in their own nearby vegetable garden. The parking arrangements were fine and the swimming pool at the Giardano was much appreciated. Driving to Ravello!! Check out was slow and the peace of the terrace was often disturbed by the small child belonging to one of the staff.
