Meal at the bar was good staff helpful.
Breakfast only ok,NOT able to get wif in bedroom. Door lock needed attention.
Location, welcoming waitress and cleaning staff
Was a bit dated, tiny bathroom, door handle to room not working properly
Bedrooms are tired and shabby and not particularly clean Very little natural light , room was dark and dingy
Bathroom shower cubicle was dirty/ When you ran the shower you stood in water that filled the tray. Disgusting! Toilet was not cleaned prior to our entering the room. Bedroom light had a noisy hum so could not use to read by. Toilet roll holder was broken and on the floor! Breakfast was a disaster .My wife was give a large inedible bowl of porridge which we took to the reception. My eggs bacon and mushrooms were the worst ever. Room literature had a VisitEngland Breakfast award symbol on !!!!! and an EnjoyEngland FOUR STARS symbol. We have used this hotel in the past as my wife has annual reviews of her EYE CANCER at a nearby NHS hospital. ThPoor staff, food e new owners of the hotel have cut costs and quality. We will not return to this hotel
The bed was very comfortable. Had a great nights sleep. The tea/coffee facilities in the room was good.
The AC in the room didn’t work properly and the window wouldn’t shut properly so had to get a portable heater in the room.
