Rooms are large. Fittings are good quality. Beds are comfortable. Ground floor rooms open out onto one of the hotels 2 large pools. They each have a terrace whilst first floor rooms have a balcony. We favoured the rectangular pool where the lush fauna attracts a lot of birds and butterflies. There are always tuk tuk drivers waiting outside to take guests into town. However there are also restaurants within walking distance. Due to the effects of Covid-19 upon bookings there were only 2 other sets of guests and at the point at which we checked out we appeared to be the only guests in the entire hotel. Some may have found this unnerving and having sole use of 2 large pools was a strange experience. However we loved the privacy and the solitude. Free airport transfers by tuk tuk. As is ever the case in Cambodia the staff were friendly and attentive.
On arrival the hotel tried to discourage us from staying and wanted us to instead stay at one of their nearby sister hotels. The alternative hotel was of course quite full so we decided to stay put. Whilst this was negotiated with minimal fuss we were disappointed that the hotel had not emailed us about this in advance. Whilst adequate and certainly nothing to complain about breakfast was a bit limited. There is a small nearby river which is heavily polluted. At times we could smell the river whilst using the pool. There were extended times during the day when a nearby PA was blasting out what we took to be devotional music and prayer. However it may have been that our stay coincided with a festival of some kind.
The old part of the hotel is much nicer that the new one. Rooms around a very lovely swimming pool filled with green vegetation can't be compared to more generic bigger new part. It's also quieter. Rooms are big and comfortable. The restaurant in the old part is also nice, serving good Asian and European style of breakfast.
Some of the rooms are literary mosquito breeding spots, especially with glass pots of flowers filled with water that serves as mosquito breeding sources.
Fresh, vibrant exterior, extremely helpful staff, pretty good brekky and two nice pools make this a hotel you shouldn’t miss out on.
It’s a good 15 minute walk from the bars and restaurants if tourist Siem Reap but if you don’t mind the dusty walk or are happy using Tuk Tuks then I recommend this hotel.
Its two swimming pools, its specious rooms, courteous staff and good value for money.
The hotel has a resort like feel, even though it is so close to the Old Market, which is the hub of Siem Reap.
Lovely, helpful staff. Great swimming pool.
Location is a bit run down and next to a stagnant river that can smell sometimes.
