The hotel grounds were pleasant and well-maintained. There is a nice pool area with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. On arrival we found the staff to be unfriendly and unwelcoming which might have been made worse by the language barrier. As an international hotel we would have expected some English-speaking staff. The lift was carpeted but never cleaned so had an unpleasant smell. The rooms were small and again the carpet was never hoovered; only the bed was made each day and some of the towels changed. We discovered as our children were changing the TV channels there there as a pornographic channel that is immediately accessible. The food is of a very poor standard and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are extremely expensive. The beach is described as being 150m away but that would be as 'the crow flies.' It is more like a 10 minute walk.
Relaxed and quiet was a nice break The hotel is let down by a very very dirty swimming pool
the deluxe room was smaller in size in comparison to the picture of the room in the internet
The service of the hotel was awful. Even though we had reservation, we had to wait for more than half an hour to get our rooms ready even tough we arrived at 16 30 to the hotel. We ordered drinks while we were waiting, and our drinks were not served, either! In the morning, we wanted to get newspaper and they told us that because of the unexpected crowd no newspapers left. In the breakfast we wanted to drink tea in glass instead of pot, and they told us that it was difficult for them to find glass because of the unexpected crowd. We went to the pool for swimming and they told us that there were no swimming caps left because of the unexpected crowd ( the night before they told us that they were providing swimming caps). They were really funny
Manageress was extremely helpful and strived to make our stay as pleasant as possible (she is a star), despite other staff not being able to meet even average levels of service (regardless of partial language barrier). Range of organic food was excellent and tatsy, even when served as a bufffet. Entertainment was enjoyable. Trips available, arranged by hotel. Room was only serviced/cleaned once on a 4 night stay, despite checking after the first day of being missed. No pricelist available for extras such as soft drinks and alcoholic drinks and staff gave different prices when asked which changed when receiving the bill. Had to be served coffee 3 times before it arrived hot. Penthouse room as described did not meet our expectations. Lack of information about things to do in the local area.
The staff were friendly and helpful, despite limited english being spoken.Special mention must be made of Cigdem, who went out of her way to be helpful, and was always checking if there was anything we needed. The hotel is right across from the beach, and only a couple of minutes walk from the shopping area.It arranges various free activities for its residents. We particularly enjoyed the boat trip, and the evening music around a fire in the garden. This is a "typical traditional" type of charming turkish hotel, and has a lovely atmosphere. The pool area and gardens are well looked after, with lots of places to sit. We were pleased to find towels available to use by the pool. We were made to feel welcomed and valued guests There was a lack of cupboards, shelves and drawers, so any clothes which could not be hung up had to be put on the floor of the wardrobe. The kitchens seemed slow in replenishing the buffet at both breakfast & dinner, with a lack of consistency, in particular, of the hot food available. It was almost a case of first come, first served.
walking on the beach and along the riverside. Also we relaxed in the hotel in the spa. The rooms were comfortable and clean with very nice views.
Friendly and very serviceminded staff. Excellent location. Nice and cosy atmosphere. Excellent organic food. Great variety in morning and evening buffets. Good entertainment and music arrangement. None
