Everything was very good other than the extremely small bathroom and relatively small room. Location is excellent, staff friendly and amenities very good. Room safe was appreciated. Plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as Singapore's excellent subway system.

The premium price commanded by this hotel is due to the location, not the quality of the hotel itself. The room was tiny, bathroom tiny, room facilities run down and needing maintenance work. Poor (cheap?) design choices meant lighting was hard to control with awkwardly placed switches, water leaking out of the shower cubicle, loose toilet seat fitting, poor noise isolation from the hall and other...
