Off the beaten path and quiet. The owners are nice people and all the guests were friendly as well. We loved this place and the price. It's an older motel that has been updated and it is clean.

It was very clean and we enjoyed the pool. Location and price was great for our trip to Mammoth Cave National Park
Location Small bathroom
The place was quiet - we saw Amish buggies driving by on the 2 lane road out front. No places to party nearby, just a nice clean room to sleep, shower and get back on the road. They were pet friendly, too! The only room available was a smoking room.
The hotel staff seemed friendly enough during the one and only time I interacted with them (at check-in). Their debit reader didn't work, so I had to go to the gas station across the street and withdraw cash to pay. The cleaning solution in the room was strong. In fact, it made my family ill. Had to buy some air fresheners just to get through the night.
The people were helpful. My brother had passed away & I spent days making arrangements, cleaning & dispersing his belongings. They helped me carry boxes (for sorting) up to my room & let me check in early & extend my stay at the same rate. The wifi was glitch-y I needed to use it to find out things involved with my brothers death, his vehicle, donation centers, etc. Sometimes was unable to get on the net. My computer said it was the router.
I had read reviews that indicated the rooms were very clean - they weren't kidding! Super-clean! Nothing fancy, but clean, functional, and just fine for the price. If you're looking for a &full service& hotel, this isn't it. But if you are looking for efficient, clean, and functional - in and out& - this is a good choice.

Location and friendliness did not have a microwave and or fridge.
The room was amazing, exactly as pictured and more. The sitting room was a huge bonus for us. Because it is such a great hotel, it was very crowded. But, the staff had the manpower to check us in and out with almost no wait.
Great spacious place and not too far from Nashville and other cool places.
Very nice place. staff is really nice Internet is slow
Friendliness of the staff. Close to many shops and restaurants. Could hear slamming doors all night. Upon arriving, street directions to get into parking lot was not clearly marked.
The price, the service, the workout room, the breakfast and the cookies!
Staff was helpful and friendly Make sure you eat breakfast there Mrs Betty cooks something delicious every morning Service road kinda tricky to get in
It was very beautiful there Pool was closed, hot tub was getting filled in, no electric for 2+ hours.
Family Spring Break road trip with 4 nights in 4 different spots in 4 days. There was nothing wrong with this hotel, but compared to the other 3 hotels we stayed at, nothing wow'd me for the nearly double cost we paid compared to our other stops. Average. If I was staying in the area again, I'd look for a different hotel which a much better price tag. Internet was sketchy, at best, in our room.
Easy access from I-65 Plenty of Restaurants Indoor pool and hot tub Continental breakfast Workout Room Hotel entrance is a bit hard to find.
Nice accommodations, friendly staff, good breakfast, nice pool. great location! There was a shortage of the luggage carriers when we were checking out.
Friendly staff, good location, everything clean, and good value.
Location is handy
I enjoyed the cleanliness of the hotel. I didn't mind the layout out the room. The bathroom had a glass door with no fan. It's a bit uncomfortable. Apparently they have a good breakfast however we were told breakfast was until 10:30am. Went down at 10:00am and the were cleaning it up.
The spaciousness and cleanliness of the room. Great stay, and would stay again in the future. N/A
Slept well. Comfortable bed. Relaxing shower. Great service. Everything was good.
Found it to be very clean and comfortable! Great beds and pillows!! We will be back again!
Liked that it was clean, had free waffles for breakfast. It was a nice 3 star hotel. Stayed 2 nites. .front desk staff was very nice as was rest of staff. Love the accents Cabinet holding refrigerator had a tough door to open. I would stay again.
Clean and friendly. Decent value for the money. Would stay again. Nothing to mention.
I liked the location of Microtel The hotel room was absolutely filthy (hair from previous guests in beds, filthy walls with "stuff" smeared all over them). When we turned the ac, on it smelled like weed and when we called the front desk they were less than helpful. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and wish I would have spent the extra $20 for someplace nicer.
It was a good location for our needs for this trip, close to the freeway and plenty of places to eat and shop. The rooms are small, bed uncomfortable and a chair to sit in at a desk no so comfortable. The refrigerator had to be slammed to close. The morning staff was nice the night crew not so much. They did not seem to want to answer questions. Free breakfast needs work and more room, you can only fit 6 people in seating area. Food not so good.
Clean Thought they would have at least hard boiled eggs
Value for money. Very comfortable beds. Decent Breakfast for money. Breakfast area small. Limited seating
Close to express way, clean, great rates. A bit noisy
Absolutely nothing Musty smell, poor climate control, shower rod and shower head falling out of the wall, towels were basically rags, ice machine broken. I would NEVER stay again.
The hotel was in a good location. The place is older but was adequate for what I needed. It was fairly clean for an older hotel. The indoor/outdoor pools were surprisingly nice. Well, the front desk clerk was not friendly, she wasn't rude but was not very helpful or friendly-adequate describes her perfectly. It was incredibly hot in the hallways and in the indoor pool/breakfast area. The room phone did not work.
The room was large and very clean. The people that work there make sure your stay was a happy one and the swimming pool was a wonderful surprise. Very close to many restaurants and shopping.
The location It was an old run down hotel Frim the bedding to the bathrooms everything had seen its better days If you can find another Hotrl I would suggest that you stay someplace other than this place
The room itself. It was clean, it was small but nice, it was a suite, it had a jacuzzi tub and there were not any bugs. The outdoor pool wasn't filled, the building itself was run down, the outside doors didn't work with the key cards, the airconditioning in the building was off and the hallways were hot and stagnant.
Room had musty smell. Breakfast so so
Did what we needed for a cheaper price. Bed was extremely uncomfortable!! Also need more pillows. And clean the bathtub more.
Bar and grill convenient right next door Great Catfish Parking on the side is tight if you're driving a full sized vehicle There was also some stains on the sofa that gave me pause , had I been staying more than one night I would have asked for another room
Our room was more spacious than most. I loved the large bathroom with the walk-in shower. The lobby/bar area were very clean and staffed with friendly people. The air conditioner/heater worked well and the fan provided a nice white noise buffer. The adjustable firmness bed and pillows were outstanding. I was surprised that they asked $10 for what was on offer for breakfast. Similar to other reviewers, we opted for an actual restaurant. Our room had a strange plumbing issue. Whenever someone was in the shower, using the sink, or flushing the toilet, you could hear the drainage in the wall by the air conditioning unit. In 30 years of traveling, this was a new one
Very clean, friendly staff will come again
This location was right across the street from a business convention I was attending. The location for the price was the excellent No breakfast included. Most business travelers eat light...a bagel or bowl of cereal. I was not interested in paying $10.00 for a big breakfast at the hotel. Ended up driving to McDonalds. Places that have a simple continental breakfast included would get my stay next time.
Good location, good service, nice rooms, pool, Jacuzzi, and workout room was nice, free ice Would've liked to have free breakfast
Was in town for a college campus visit to WKU. We stayed one night. The place was pretty crowded, but overall the staff did a nice job of promptly meeting our needs. Room was comfortable and clean. Overall was about what I expected from Drury Inn. We've stayed at various Drury Inns over the years and have been satisfied.
The hotel room was very comfortable. A nice breakfast was offered. It was conveniently located to stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay again at this hotel again.
Me and my family had a great stay. Loved that it was walking distance to the Outback (which was great food). Lots to choose from for breakfast - didn't make it to any other meals. Very clean!
We loved the free dinner & breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are travelling with kids.
Clean room and hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Offered a hot meal/snack from 5:30-7pm with stay. Had a nice hot breakfast.
We have always chosen this Drury Inn when we visit our son in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Right off I-65, it offers happy hour (enough for a small dinner) with baked potatoes, free soft drinks, nearly free alcoholic beverages, hotdogs and snacks. The staff are welcoming, there is an indoor pool for relaxing, and a hot breakfast each morning. All included in your room cost! It is on a main thoroughfare and a straight shot to WKU. So for business or pleasure, give this location a try and you won't be sorry.
We always stay here when we go to Bowling Green to visit our son at WKU. Sometimes there is a special rate, but even the regular rate is a bargain. There are almost free drink tickets when you arrive, up to 3 per person for mixed drinks, wine or beer; as well as free, unlimited soft drinks. There are tasty appetizers, baked potatoes, hot dogs, and popcorm to munch on. In the room, the comfortable bed and extra pillows made for a good night's sleep. And in the morning, the hot breakfast bar is included, with eggs, sausage, waffles, etc. THe hotel is right off the highway and close to everything. And we have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful in every way.
Staff was very friendly hotel was clean Great place to stay
We loved the hotel; the price; the employees; the food; all the extras. Loved the breakfast and the dinner meal available to us. Amazing! Absolutely delightful!
Everything was excellent. If you have never stayed at the Drury Inn, you have never experienced a big bang for a less expensive stay at a hotel. Drury Inn gives you a meal in the evening time and a meal for breakfast. Also they have a open bar, which is not expensive. The rooms are spacious and clean. The time we stayed at the hotel, we swam indoors while it was snowing outside. Thanks for the Stay!
This is a good mid range hotel. It's very family friendly. It's in a good location. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I never had to wait for service. The hotel and rooms were clean and well maintained. The hotel provides small breakfast and dinner buffets. The food is basic, but the quality is better than most places that I've stayed. The pool and hot tub are clean and nice. The pool is fairly small, good for kids, not so much for exercise. They had a couple of tread mills available, but no real exercise center. On the down side. My room smelled rather musty (despite being clean). The temperature control in the room was not very responsive. While the bed wasn't exactly uncomfortable, I've slept in better beds in the same class of hotel.
My wife and I checked in late after a concert and found the staff to be very nice, however when we got to our room we found more than 20 cases of disposable dishware. (I keep trying to post a picture and it wont work for some reason) We called to let the front desk know that apparently our room was being used as a storage unit, and they were apologetic. They said the only room left was a double and she would have to get sheets and linens ready. We told her we would just rather sleep in the queen room. Although I didn't push the issue, I am a little disappointed that there was no concession made whether it be some discount on the room or another nights stay or something. It wasn't a huge deal, but I don't feel like it was dealt with that great. Otherwise the hotel was alright, and the breakfast was pretty decent.
No carpeting on floors
The suite was nicer than some apartments I have lived in; spacious doesn't even begin to describe it! The kitchen was large and boasted clean dishes; quality utensils; granite countertops; and featured all new and full sized appliances including an oven, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The bathroom was gorgeous, with a separate door and fan for the toilet. (Always a good thing when traveling!) The shower had a waterfall head and a wand. The provided toiletries were pleasantly scented and mounted in large bottles to the wall of the shower. The king size bed was much wider than my king at home and was *very* comfortable. The wifi was fast and the signal was strong. Everything was clean and the rooms were well lit. It's tucked back from the main road, which definitely helps with the noise levels. There was very minor sounds of cars passing on the highway but they provided complimentary foam ear plugs and I didn't even need them. There was also an IPod compatible alarm clock/docking station, so you can play your own music or audiobook to help cover up the sound or fill the silence if you choose to. The staff was *very* friendly and even walked me to my room to point out the amenities and answer any questions. There aren't a lot of pointless bells and whistles in the lobby area, which I love since it keeps the cost to stay there down. They offered a coffee bar (fresh ground coffee that smelled amazing), a bottled water station, and a pool table that was available for use until 10:00 pm I think. There was even a small deck off of my living room! I enjoyed sitting on it and reading before getting ready for bed. I wish I could include the photos I took, unfortunately I am unable to. I will say I was so impressed that I immediately posted them to my Facebook page to share the "amazing digs" with my friends. ;) I drive from Wisconsin to Georgia several times a year and will definitely be making a point of staying here again. It was far and away a more pleasant stay than any of the large (and more expensive) chain hotels located nearby. I really had to stretch to think of something. The only things I could come up with are 1.) The shower had what appeared to be some minor staining on the floor, but it wasn't enough to make me feel like it hadn't been cleaned. It just looked like they needed to use a more abrasive cleaner to get rid of it. 2.) I wish they had a booklet of local restaurants/food delivery/attractions. I had to hunt for a food delivery service and I have a feeling I paid more than necessary to get my dinner delivered.
Location Complications with booking online. Not sure if staff knew exactly how to handle the situation.
A pretty typical Hampton Inn, pretty nice in every way. Nice room, nice staff, nice breakfast, nice amenities. They had donuts from the best donut shop in the US at their buffet! They even gave us a few complimentary items we ran out of during our stay. The only drawback was one day we left the do not disturb sign on our door until after lunch and then housekeeping never made it to our room but it wasn't a huge big deal.
Very clean, good facilities and amenities. Nice study room. Friendly, helpful service. Had some trouble with the key to my room. Got two new keys from the service desk and it took several attempts before one of the keys let me into my room and I made sure not to shut the door when I went outside again. Had to wear ear plugs to drown out the screaming kids across the hall late into the night.
This review site is not working correctly- nothing apppears in the box when I try to "check" it. As for my stay the room was clean and luxurious. Beds were VERY comfortable. I never moved after going to sleep. My only complaint is: I was glad not to pack a hairdryer since upscale places always have them, but then Staybridge did not. I was in a hurry the next morning and had to leave without being able to fix my hair....left the hotel on a cold day with a wet head. So all the other amenities were pretty much forgotten after that.
Bed was comfortable. Wasn't enough coffee in the room. Attendant was a little rude at the desk.
The room was well appointed and clean. The breakfast was decent. Even though our end of the hotel was no smoking, the smell of smoke came in through the bathroom air vent. And the alarm clock was broken. Not that we needed it. But if you are going to have one in the room, it should work. The other bad thing is that there are no elevators so lots of fun lugging all our things up and down stairs and then down the hallway (no carts either).
Comfortable room, large mini-fridge with microwave, nice pool, wifi, breakfast was mostly pre-packaged but better than fast-food. Room was a bit run-down, but clean and comfortable.
No hot water in the sink. Bathroom lights were flickering. Very little condiments. Air conditioning was loud. Windows were in bad shape. Room smelled like smoke. The beds were very uncomfortable because of the mattresses were wore out. Didn't get a good night sleep.
This place was NASTY! Do not stay here!!! The sheets had holes in them. God only knows when the last time the rooms were cleaned. We were supposed to stay there two nights but canceled the second night. The pictures on line are very misleading, bordering on fraud.
It was cheap and available. This hotel is somewhat secluded and that was nice. I dropped my jacket in the parking lot when I arrived and the next morning when I left someone had folded it and left it on the bench by the front door. I thought that was very nice since it was a nice Columbia jacket. The hotel was very small and my room was located so that every time someone walked in the front door I could hear the bell on the door. The breakfast wasn't stellar but for the money and on short notice it worked.
Room smelled bad and looked dated. Did not stay
It was located close to where I needed to go. Carpets in halls were dirty. Exterior security doors did not close. Holes in the wall of the room. Bathroom light did not work when we arrived. Recliner in the room was broken.
Great bar and decent restaurant. Facilities are always clean. Rooms are of a nice size with decent amenities. Staff and management allows for guests to be incredibly loud. This is bad because of the acoustics of the indoor courtyard. Don't expect to get much sleep if you stay here. I've stayed here three times and the noise doesn't stop till after midnight and usually starts up before 8:00 am.
Everything was rate people were friendly very very good service and quality of breakfast was pretty good maybe could've going up one notch but everything else maybe want to stay there again
Convenient to traveling with shuttle bus
Rooms need updating
Staff was very friendly. Bed and pillows were very nice and down alternative comforters on bed. Breakfast was very good. Sausage patties, eggs, waffles, yogurt, pastries, cereal, hard boiled eggs and biscuits and gravy each day. We ate a big breakfast there and weren't hungry until 4 or 5 in the afternoon then we went to supper. So we ended up only having to buy 1 meal a day. This hotel is a steal for the price. Pool was a bit small but our kids liked it because they made lots of friends to play with because of the small proximity.
Nice size rooms, good location Rooms had a musty/chemically smell
Karen & Gary were excellent hosts. Everything was well kept and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The location was perfect for a visit to Mammoth Cave. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of it. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area.
Inn owners were very pleasant and friendly. The train at night was a bit much... it seemed like 20 trains passed in the night, the tracks are right outside the Inn. Very hard to sleep through that noise.
