Quiet location The dining facilities were poor and staff unfriendly and unhelpful. The loungers/umbrellas on the beach should be free.
The staff is very friendly and you really have the feeling that they are there to take care of you. The hotel is a very good and the rooms are great. Take your laptop and a lan cable and you'll have internet free in your room
very green, lovely, romantic, far away from Palma
We stayed in the hotel for a few days after our wedding and we found the hotel and the surroundings absolutely amazing: it was really really quiet, the views were beautiful and the food was just delicious. The staff was also very friendly and really helpful. There wasn't anything we did not like about this place but if we would have to mention something then it would be the lack of tea making facilities in our room, although the minibar was very nice!
Excellent location for a few quiet days; fantastic views; swimming off the rocks was great; good pool; very friendly staff. Very convenient for golf courses in the area and other local attractions. Car recommended. Looks a bit bland from the outside but excellent inside; obviously renovated to a high standard.
The quality of the service and food and the friendliness of the staff. The fitness-Club has outdated equipememt
Nature, location, very good food.
Staff were fantastic and helpful. The hotel was in a peaceful area with wonderful views. The breakfasts were outstanding with plenty of choice. Rooms at the top had a marvelous view. Need more all-day shade, rather than keep moving to stay under the shade. A vegetarian choice for dinner. Some rooms still need renovating.
Setting of hotel grounds
The people and the place are great. The food is really not good. Its the only downside of this hotel, if you want to eat good, you have to go for a ride to a restaurant.
Really nice hotel and wonderful staff
In addition to the excellent facilities and quality of the accommodation, the service of the staff was absolutely first class - no opportunity was missed to maximise the comfort and enjoyment of our stay.
We have stayed there for 9 consecutive years and can highly recommend it as a place to relax and be looked after. Our son is now 10years old and he loves it there and always makes new friends.
When we were leaving (early in the morning), the man working at the check out counter clearly had no idea what he was doing. I could not even get the bill printed in my own name. The staff (other than this gentleman) were fantastic. The service is top notch.
quite and tranquil location,it was a fantastic/perfect getaway ,for relaxation, after a very hectic year. the politeness of all the staff and managers and guests were outstanding, and i would like to thank everybody once again for all there kindness note i am not sure if they have my correct email address.?
location, parking convenient, We were on half board, The food at dinner was mediocre especially the main course, poor quality and lukewarm.
good customer service good location on the beach I booked a twin room and was given on arrival a very small single room on a floor below the lift engine room so very noisy. I complained and given a nice double on single use the following day. Being mainly booked by Germans the food was exclusively according to German tastes (too much fried food and according to German expectations) therefore not much choice, especially at breakfast. I would reccomend the hotel mainly to Germans as everyone else would feel a bit out of place.
I stayed at Canyamel Park for three nights. The staff at the hotel couldn't do enough for you. It is perfectly positioned for the beach(about a two minute walk!) It had a really nice swimming pool, with a nice seperate section for the children. The girls who were on the dining room staff were lovely and helpful. The surrounding area was quiiet, and not very commercialised, but we felt very comfortable. If I had the chance of returning to Canyamel Park, I would definately go back.
All the staff spoke good English and were very helpful and friendly.
The close proximity to the beach It took 45 mins and 2 trips to get the correct set of keys to my room; uncordinated staff; Can't handle too many people at once
The bar staff and receptionists were very helpful and the room was always clean and tidy.
Lovely location, basic but clean apartment - very peaceful and quiet. We had an apartment but able to use the hotel facilities that was a very short walk away. Good tennis courts and easy to book. Very close to beach whilst also having a very nice swimming pool available. Air con not working. No information pack (as suggested by reception. No kettle. Apartment very basic (but adequate for our needs on this occasion). If had the children with us or staying longer, may have required a little more from room.
Mallorca Palace felt like a really nice oasis to come back to after a fun day at the beach or site-seeing. Sa Coma beach is very clean and safe for children. Not too busy. I didn't mind at all that the Mallorca Palace hotel isn't sea facing, it's so close anyway. We enjoyed the evening meals - good selection of choices and the service was excellent.
Buffet dinner was excellent and hotel service very good. Hotel well presented and clean Beds were a bit hard, room cleaning was ok, but not 5 star
The Food was amazing it was well presented with a fantastic choice everyday the quality was second to none, staff friendly and attentive, I would go back and spend a full week next time!!!
The home-made sushi during dinner. Noise level. For western-Europe (D, B, NL, CH, AT, FR) it would be rated as 3-4 stars hotel.
The hotel were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable, the food was very good.I liked the pool. I think that the bar prices are over the top,a half a litre of local beer was 6 euros,in bars nearby it was only 3 euros
Nice and peaceful place for family. Nature was near and the place was not too much normal tourist area. Beach and sea was nice. Hotell was fine and there you can feel that customer is important !!!
We liked all of the facilities and particularly the beach and the area around with spectacular views and ease of access to local towns. As a family with 2 children (13 &10 years) we found there was plenty to do and a good nightlife within and also nearby at Port Cala Rajada. The sound proofing in the rooms. It is a little easy to hear noises from inconsiderate neighbours!
great beach and very kid friendly the food in the Mexican and Poolside resturants was not very good.
The hotel was very good although we had a problem on arrival with our room. I had booked for 2 adults and 2 children plus a baby, but we were told that the max occupancy was 4 so we had to upgrade to a superior room which cost us an extra 120 euro. I suggest our booking should have made us aware of this. Food and beach were excellent. Some of the blocks are rather dated. Stayed in the Viva Mallorca for a week before Cala Mesquida and that hotel is much cleaner and better value
