Pros: Pub downstairs, architecture of the estate was beautiful
Cons: We didn't stay long enough

Pros: Service was outstanding. Very clean. Comfortable.
Cons: No dislikes
Pros: The staff goes out of their way to make your stay perfect.
Pros: First, after some confusion (our problem) finding the car park, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The hotel itself was a wonderful surprise, a bit old world luxury, with lots of dark woods, polished brass, and oriental carpets. Room had all you would expect and more. Great breakfast as well.
Pros: Rooms spacious and very comfortable.
Pros: Staff was wonderful and welcoming..room was comfortable..loved having a sofa..general feel of hotel was great..best location to train, bus and restaurants
Cons: Old fashioned blow dryer

Pros: The front desk staff were very helpful. We arrived later than we had planned and were concerned about being on time for a scheduled concert. We were checked in quickly and given easy directions for where we needed to be. The next day when we were checking out and inquired how long our parking voucher would be effective, Jan very helpfully suggested we wait to purchase it so that we could explore More of Galway. He stored our luggage for us and gave us great suggestions of where to go and what to see. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Cons: The rooms were very warm, even with windows open.
Pros: Staff very friendly, professional and prompt in accommodating requests.
Cons: Do Not Disturb sign and. Make Up Room sign practically identical. If one grabs Do Not Disturb sign at night one can easily grab wrong sign (as I did) and be awakened early by the maid thinking I wanted my room cleaned. Very aggravating!!
Pros: The hotel is wonderfully located very close to the center of Galway and all activities. while being a 1-10 min walk from anything you could want, its also quiet. The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly.
Cons: The beds were fairly uncomfortable, the amenities are not terrible new, but are current enough to satisfy and certainly high quality in galway.
Pros: When we checked in we did not get the room we had requested. The check in agent was not willing to change our room. We had to get the manager to help us. He made the changes that were needed and we were very satisfied. After that the manager checked with us each day to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. At the end of our 3 day stay the manager even got our car out of the garage.
Cons: The garage that the hotel uses is just awful. very tight corners, and hard for out of town guests to maneuver. They should find another garage to use.
Pros: The location is great, right in the city center and only 15 minute walk to the beach and it is a very clean and comfortable.
Stayed here be fore and would stay here again the next time I stay in Galway.
Pros: This was a lovely hotel in a great location. The staff was great & rooms were very clean & comfortable. We loved that you could walk to everything-restaurants & shops in one direction & just over the bridge the Salthill Promenade for a beautiful walk.
Cons: We arrived on the weekend & it's kind of a party town on Fri & Sat. We loved it but when return I think we'll come Sunday thru Thursday.
Located in Latin Quarter, this eco-friendly hotel is steps from Kirwan's Lane, Galway City Museum, and Spanish Arch. South Park and St. Nicholas' Collegiate Church are also within 10 minutes.
Pros: Close proximity to city center. The lobby was clean and well-lighted.
Cons: Reservation was for a king-bed, "bay view" room. The first room we were given had a view of the lobby, and was a handicap access room. We asked for a different room, and were given one with all of the windows painted over and no air-conditioning (the room details said it was air-conditioned). It was very hot in the room, and the window would only open about 6 inches.
Not what I expect from Radisson...

When you stay at Nox Hotel, you'll be just a 5-minute drive from Galway Cathedral and Spanish Arch. You'll have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Also, South Park and Galway City Museum are within a short drive.
Pros: The ample free parking was great. No car juggling to get in or out, which one often finds in Europe. Very nice view and an easy drive to Barna and Spiddal for good food without the crowds. The room was large and comfortable and the WiFi worked well. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: The restaurant was over-priced for the breakfast buffet compared to other places we stayed on this trip. The wait staff seemed overwhelmed by large groups on tour busses, which made for slow service. Basically, the restaurant was understaffed and over-priced. The Coco Café a short walk up the street had an excellent Irish breakfast and good service for about 1/2 of the cost of the hotel.

Pros: The hotel was very nice and modern on the inside and we were so pleased to find such accommodating staff. We arrived quite late that night and were very tired from 12 hours of driving. The young lady working check in was so kind and she upgraded us to the bridal suite for free!! It was amazing! High tech, comfortable bed tons of windows for views. We loved it. Such a nice gesture and there was not need for them to do that.
Cons: Dirty grounds around the exterior, dirty rooms not fully cleaned, drawer handles full of body hair, body fluids on curtains, bery bland interior very basic fittings in room, budget soaps, not a hint of luxury anywhere, should be rerated to 3 star.

Pros: Room quality and cleanliness were good. location is good.
Cons: Service was rude, staff uninterested in helping us, and made us lose $ and time figuring out how to use their "validated" parking in the city center structure. The manager on our last day was very helpful and gave us a partial refund for parking $, but was not able to give us back our lost time to see the countryside and beat crowds to Cliffs of Moher. The only elevator was broken for around 12 hours and we had to walk up 4 stories with no apology, just a "there are the stairs". Roommkeys deactivated on second day and after hiking back down 4 stories the gentleman at the desk responded with "well how many nights are you staying?". What is that supposed to imply? Again no apology. would not recommend this Hotel unless nothing else is available for distance to city center.
Pros: Beautiful décor, excellent location, fantastic breakfast. Close to parking as well.
Cons: Walls are a bit thin, so light sleepers beware.
