Clean and comfortable room. Staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and well cooked.
The location was central to everywhere we wanted to go.The landlady and staff did a good job, the breakfast was good. No evening meals were being served but there was a Chinese and an excellent Indian restaurants across the road, you could eat in or have a take away the landlady was happy for you to have the meal in the breakfast room and the staff would provide you with plates cutlery etc. Th landlady did everything to make your stay enjoyable. There was also Free parking.
We never expected the Ritz and we never expected a 4* hotel. We got what we expected, a central location, clean accommodations and a good breakfast, Staff that did everything to make your stay enjoyable.
Breakfast was ok but served in a cold room, only 1 small cup of tea offered!
Quite a rough pub and we were advised not to go into the town centre. They had a list on the wall of people that had been banned from the pub, there was at least 50 names on the list!
