location, beach early check out time of 10am
The hotel has a great location with a nice beach for swimming and very very close to the Paklenica national park. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Do not be put off by initial impression from outside hotel (i.e. the only large high rise towerblock along this stretch of coastline). Our room was very clean and a reasonable size with fridge and balcony (views over park). Good buffet style (help yourself !) breakfast. Outside pool good and indoor pool also good, although 75 kuna standard charge for locker and robe. Ideal location for walking / climbing in the Paklenica National Park, but a bit isolated if you are not walking or climbing and you are staying for a whole week. Please note that this hotel is at least 45 mins drive from Zadar town centre.
very good location hotel is a bit "sovietic" style. Swimming pool too small for the size of the hotel, the beach is crowded because shared with the camping
The hotel was lovely, very quiet and peacefull. The staff were nice and the rooms were lovely and big, with nice veiws. The food was nice as was the pool and the lounge. There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel
A very good hotel in this location It suited our purpose well for an overnight stay Enjoyable buffet dinner & breakfast package
The hotel has a nice view to the adriatic sea from the window. Es un lugar con unas preciosas vistas del mar adriatico desde la ventana de la habitación. The orange juice on the breakfast was very bad and is not normal if the breakfast service finish at 10 a.m. and at 9:15 a.m. finish the croissants and they doesn’t give more after I require to the staff working on the restaurant. There was somebody of the staff doesn’t understand English. The lift (elevator) was working all the night and we cannot sleep for the big noise (our room was very far but we listen the noise)
The beach and the hotel was well located and the breakfeast was good. There was not mini bar, a safe or an elevator (we were on the second floor walk-up with a family and luggage). It was overpriced
Visit paklenica and krka national park
good choice at breakfast, peaceful evening meal in restuarant. Quiet, cool garden. Easy access to national park and canoeing on Zrmanja river.
The location is fantastic, as well as the surroundings of the Villa, and staff is very helpful.
Excellent restaurant, very friendly staff, good quality of rooms, interesting program of activities Small beach
The staff was so helpful and a wealth of knowledge about the area and the Paklenika National Park. They provided us with many suggestions and brouchures of things to do and ways to do them. They explained numerous hiking routes in the National Park and how long each would take and which ones a lone person could safely do and which ones it was important to have a buddy. No elevator for luggage
the manager, when he arrived later in the evening, was very nice and offered to put us into a better room (but by then we'd already booked somewhere else for our second night). There was a good selection of food for breakfast. We were given a small, dark, ground floor room. Villa Vicko seems to have some very nice rooms, and some small and basic ones. We would have been fine with paying a bit more for a nice room, or a lot less for a basic room. However, we weren't happy at being given a room that was nothing like as nice as those pictured on the internet, and paying the same price for it (although we acknowledge that after we complained, we did get a 10% discount). The hotel was supposed to have internet in the lobby, but when we asked the guy on reception didn't know about it, and we couldn't find it.
We are very satisfied our stay in Villa Vicko. It is very close to beach and hotel stuff is quit helpful and kind. Cleaness is acceptable even for Japanese tourist. We have chosen halfboad and volume and taste is very good. Nothing for hotel. It is not problem of the hotel, but the closest beach is not sand but rock and it is a bit dangerous without having swimming shoes.
We liked the exceptional breakfast choice and quality, the helpful staff, the views from our room balcony and the location of the hotel . Although the booking was described as 'Active Holiday' package - there was no discernable difference from an ordinary stay - we did not see any free bikes and were not offered a pass to the National Park as noted in the room description - however we did not specifically ask if they were available and this did not detract from our stay.
Very quiet relaxed friendly atmosphere. Food very good and staff very friendly. Hotel balconies overlook the sea so great view. Accommodating adequate and reflects the price.
It is on the sea shore and from the balcony you can see the sea and the mountains. the area is quiet and you are not disturbed by car noise (the main road is 40 m from the building). It has a private beach with chairs and umbrellas (even if is made of concrete). Has wi-fi (poor signal at top floors). Has car park. There are only german tv station on the receiver (no english or even croatian channels). The wi-fi signal is poor on the top floor. the breakfast (even if presented as buffet) is in fact a breakfast on which you get a plate of various types of jams, some dairy products (packed cheese cream), chocolate cream, butter. you get coffee, juice and milk and then the staff asks you if you want something else (omlette, boiled eggs, ham and cheese). We ate 8 exactly the same breakfasts. so the variety must be improved.
The staff was excellent, from Kiko on down. Great relaxing place, will be going back.
Easy to find, great location on the water, close to National Park, good restaurant on premises. No.
They were so accommodating . We really had a chance to RELAX. It is in a beautiful location for access to the national park ok Paklencoa and to explore Zadar. We had a beachfront apartment that was spacious, quiet, with beautiful views. The breakfast was delicious and filling and we had dinner in the restaurant one night and the food was fabulous. It was my favorite accompdatipn during my ten day visit to Croatia.
My wife and I enjoyed the excellent service provided by the staff. Also the location being convenient to Paklenica National Park
we stayed at pansion kiko for two nights while we were hiking in the national park, they took us to the park and picked us up after, they were wonderful like family and the food was so good great bq fish, service was excellent, we had two great nights with our friends and made for a great holiday. Thanks Peggy Sharp & Eda Vanderniker
The pansion located in very nice spot by the Adriatic Sea, close to the main road. The restaurant served very nice food. The room was very modest and tired for the price. After coming from Central Europe and paying around 50 euros per night for a nice new room, it feels a bit unjust to pay 60 euros for this standard.
Location is perfect for entering to Paklenica NP, sea vew was nice from the balkony. Not reasonably expensive for this season.
The location, the staff and especially the restaurant! Very good dishes (especially sea food and fish) and a very, very friendly staff!
The friendly manager, the breakfast and it was close to the sea.
just everything - simply great hotel with high level service no
We overslept breakfast but the hotel staff provided it for us anyway! It was very nice. The coffy was not available in the mashine any more (because we were late) and the the waiter cooked it specialy for us no
Hotel has his own beach and seats. Great breakfast. Nice view from the balcony Rooms have old furniture
Comfort and friendly service
Fabulous family "suite" with beautiful sea view, really quiet at night and direct access to the beach. We thought we had booked a simple family room. breakfast was amazing - what a selection. None!
beautiful view, lovely rooms, excellent breakfast
breakfast The room was the smallest i've ever seen. It was a complete return to the '70s. Very old furniture. It was very near to Zara, you have to take the highway to get to the city centre.
walking distance to local restaurants. close to national park for hiking.
Sea view, lovely staff, very new apartment Breakfast too expensive
This was our second time staying at this Aparthotel, if you get a nicer location, with a standard as high , I would be interested in hearing about it. location and quality of the rooms and service are excellant ! Milica is an absolute Lady, very welcoming. I had asked if it were possible to book the local fish resturant, as we arrived late in the evening and was delighted to received a mail from Milica to confirm the booking 2 days before we arrived. Thank you again Eddie & Linda Would love more time there !
nice countryside, fresh air, trail running and cycling, near the sea, close to main roads nothing
Lovely hotel in a tiny town. Right on the water with swimming or boating available. Such a small town that the only recreation is the water front.
1. The beautiful location of the hotel. 2. The space and facilities provided. no.
The scenery in the village is wonderful and offers so much. The owner and staff are very accomodating and nice. One has everything needed for a visit. Additionally, Aparthotel Tamarix is located very near Zadar, Trogir, National Parks, etc. for day trips. Thank you for a lovely visit!
If you like peace and tranquility a bit of the beaten track this apartment is ideal. It was clean and comfortable with a nearby shop and taverna. The sunsets over the sea and the views of the mountains were superb.
The location of the hotel was excellent. The rooms were spacious and had new furniture. I would have like the room to be cleaned everyday - i.e. just swept clean as there was a lot of beach sand which we would walk in and no broom or anything to clean it with. Every third day the towels and rubbish bin was cleaned - It would be good if the floors and bathroom where then cleaned as well.
The location, the cleanliness, the sunset views, the brand new apartment and furniture, great value for money! I hope the place stays like this for a long time. Coming from A1, there was no sign pointing to Vinjerac. People in the nearby towns were quite nice to give us directions. A car is probably needed, since there is not much public transportation.
fresh air, near by sport facilities, close to main road, feeling of homeliness
the best family hotel i ever stayed, warm meeting, pleasant, very helpful.
Nice friendly owners and staff
friendly people,. big balcony, easy parking proximity to the airport i suppose breakfast was a bit basic, bread and cheese, but i rarely eat breakfast anyway.
Hotel was clean, there was a breakfast and it was near the sea. Owner is a bit grumpy. Hotel is old, price is too high for what u get. No airconditioning.
A welcoming personal service from friendly family based hotel. Simple accomodation and breakfast but perfectly adequate. Beautiful sea views and balconies. Good bus service and easy walk to local restaraunts.
Maybe the price is a little bit dear. Far enough from restaurants and shops.
The staff were organised, friendly and obliging. The room was perfect for our requirements and good value for money. The whole building was spotlessly clean and breakfast on the terrace was a lovely relaxing experience.
It was family run and very friendly.
The hotel was very clean, the staff friendly and the breakfast good. The rooms could do with modernization. The hotel management had a lot of rules for the guests.
Very friendly people. The accommodation is quiet and comfortable. The shower water pinks like needles, and there's no way to adjust.
price of the breakfast very expensive
We could not have felt more at home. Cannot say enough good things about Maria and her family. We stayed one night on our way to Split and decided to change our plans so we could visit them on our way home.
Everything! The staff, facilities and the village were all incredible! Nope.
very clean and friendly and helpful and in a good location
the staff wants to make sure you're satisfied and activily tries to find out. the room and terrace are large; good comfort it was unclear for us that the restaurant was closed as the summer season had finished; maybe we didn't read the description well enough; if not, it might be clearer stated; but there was one café, one shop and one restaurant still open in the village, which was enough for our holiday needs
We had great time at Aparthotel Buratovic. Recomended for family and for people who 'd like to spend a few days in a quiet and friendly place near the sea.
The most special thing about this hotel is the family that runs it. Mother cooks amazing food by any standard and daughters run the place efficiently providing service with a smile. Although our family stayed for only one night we all enjoyed it thoroughly.
Even though we stayed here in the low season the family could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The apartments come equipped with everything you could want to self cater and the views over the Velebit mountains are just stunning. An A1 spot for visiting the north of Dalmatia in Croatia.
Spacious, spotless rooms. Would suggest the 'sea view' as it costs just couple of EUR more but the view is gorgeus. The hotel runs the best restaurant 50 km around. Very friendly english, german, italian and who knows how many languages more speaking staff. Although we planned to stay only for a night, we stayed for two more as we just liked the place, Buratovic. No complaints, only prises.
Good location for beach and motorway, clean room and friendly staff
Very kind and helpful owners doing their best for the guests. Good location right in front of the sea and very close to Zadar. The room was clean and comfortable. We liked the private parking suc as the free WiFi.
Very warm welcome by the owners.Nice place with very clean and comfortable rooms. This is our first time staying in this hotel. We absolute loved our stay and look forward to going back.
It is a simple, but nice hotel. Easily accesible. Sukosan is a good village to stay in if you want to visit Zadar or even Pag. Nice views. Very nice owners. Good and complete breakfast (excellent marmalade), in a nice porch. Some moskito bites during breakfast...! Not very good TV signal.
Good breakfast. Very simple accomodation. Not for long stay.
Big rooms, clean towels every day, close to the beach, pleasant atmosphere and nice breakfast
Nice people, clean room, breakfast ok, quiet neighboorhood and close enough to some great places in Kroatia. I book there again for our next trip to Kroatia.
friendly staff. Excellent room, which was great value for money.
We didn't arrive at the Villa until late at night after a flight from Stockholm and the hosts were waiting for us but they didn't have the room ready for us and we had to wait while they found the key. The room and bathroom was comfortable and fitted our needs. In fact since we have travelled for the next few days we have discovered that Villa Vilma was the only one with English speaking cable tv. The hosts were welcoming but they spoke very little English. The Villa is more like a B & B catering for guests in their own home. You have your breakfast in their lounge room which was fine for us but wouldn't appeal to a lot of people.
Breakfast simple but OK. The householder was nice and helpfull. We stayed in a very small room (possible it was a single but given for 2 adults) and not renovated. The furniture was old, bathroom very close to the bed, practically no space for the luggage around the bed. They have 2 categories of rooms, our friends were more lucky and they got a renovated room, a little bigger.
Very friendly host, nice breakfast on the terras, nice clean ensuite room with private terras. The location is rather hard to find...
Friendly and helpful owners.. NA
Clean little hotel and very friendly staff!Awersome breakfast!
Friendly and very helpful
great staff, great location close to beach.
Close to swimming beach, friendliness of family. I called from bus stop for directions as I hadn't printed the directions available form their website) They missed the call but called back 2 min later and picked us up 5 min later.
