The staff had us in a very clean room quickly. We paid a bit more for a nicer place. Very comfortable beds. Had a little trouble figuring out the HVAC.
My family stayed there the Friday night before we were to visit U of Akron. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Queen beds were nice. Doubles are just too small. Nice updated bathroom. Staff was friendly. Free bottled water at check-in. Breakfast was good with a nice selection. We all found something we wanted. Made our reservation through a third party with no problems. Convenient to U of Akron - just a short drive down Rt. 8 to get there. Also convenient to the Ohio Turnpike exit. Very minor dislikes. Odd massaging shower heads provided either a stream of water like from a garden hose or a ring of water with absolutely no water in the center of the ring. Also, seating in the breakfast area was good for small business groups to collaborate around a common table while eating , but my family just wanted to watch TV while eating and the seating made that difficult.

Staff welcoming & helpful. Room very clean, large & well equipped. Breakfast was a cut above any hotel hot breakfast buffet we've experienced. The cheese omelets were great, oatmeal with all the trimmings and good variety with something for everyone.

The location was ideal for where we were. Loved the suite feature. The beds were AWFUL. The second worst hotel bed I've slept on. I think they know it's bad b/c they attempt to rectify it by putting a slim mattress pad over it, which helps little to none.
Seems like an aged hotel. Not consistent with other Staybridge Inns. Noisy wall A/C unit resulted in really poor night sleep.
The staff and the rooms The maid came by at 0930. I asked her to return later as my wife was still in her nightgown. When we returned at 2100, nothing was done. She never returned.
The hotel had a full kitchenette with a large fridge, sink, burner, and microwave. They also had glasses, silverware, plates, bowls, pots, pans. I like having the option to cook my own meals at a hotel. My 3 month old slept for 8 hours in their crib. Because they had an ice maker in the large fridge, they did not have an ice machine so we had to wait to make ice. They also did not have a vending machine. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons of this hotel.

Staff was outstanding. Very friendly and ccourteous. The room had a broken sink plug and broken bathroom fan.
Cleanliness, comfort Had to call the front desk at 3:00 am because of noisy guests in a surrounding room. They were unsuccessful in getting them to be quiet, we had a sleepless night.
Spacious. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Bathrooms should be exhausted.

I was a little bit leary going in because I had to pay extra for my breakfast to be included with our room rate. It was well worth the extra money paid, though. The breakfast was more than the standard hotel continental breakfast. They had several hot options to choose from plus a few cold breakfast options for tbose who like a lighter breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were a decent size. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for families or business. Nothing

The staff went the extra mile! They were always polite, helpful and professional. The pool and hot tub area was very nice and clean. Unsupervised child was horrible. They were diving, doing backflips any just being down right rude. I understand you will get splashed but I got ambushed! They clearly did not want me in the pool. I went to tell the front desk but they were checking in a team sports team and were swamped.

It was a pleasant stay with friendly staff and a clean room. With a good breakfast, a newspaper and hot coffee I was a happy traveler.

When on business I normally stay at the local generic Hampton Inn, but I decided to go upscale this trip. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is new, clean and sophisticated for a small town. Reminds me of a nice hotel in a metropolitan city. The price was a little bit more than a "Hampton Inn", but worth it. I would not recommend this hotel for families or kids. It is right in the heart of restaurants and bar scene in Kent. Would stay again if I have the chance. As others have commented, the walls are thin and I could hear people in the hallway having discussions late at night.
I think the hotel could offer a little better breakfast than simply a continental breakfast when you consider what they charge for their rooms. i didn't know hotels still only offered continental breakfasts.
Hotel staff were attentive to us the entire stay, which included welcoming a lot of wedding travelers. The hotel is fresh, new, and centrally located to Kent and KSU. I highly recommend it!
The restaurant at the Sheraton, Beau's, was exceptional. The food and service were above expectations, but the highlight was the view! The restaurant is positioned over the Cuyahoga Falls and the it is the most relaxing scene to dine by. Wonderful!
Pets allowed, and they were very friendly about it.
The Sheraton at Cuyahoga Falls was great. Rooms are super clean and really well put together. The staff was super friendly. I really like the overall feel of the hotel. Will absolutely be back.
Beautiful river view every morning at breakfast. Room was a great space with 2 tvs, separation b/w bed & rest of suite. Clean. Courteous staff. Courteous staff with exception of one hostess (Sunday 11/13/16, 10am) at the restaurant who didn't seem to know how to greet me. Not sure what that was about.
A very enjoyable experience. Room was very clean and all the staff very friendly. Beautiful outside area with the cascading water. Very nice pool. Great room service. Very nice restaurant & lounge. Nothing really.
Loved the small wet bar with a sink and the fact the suite had doors that closed to a separate living room. These two things make traveling with an infant so much easier! Also very good food from the restaurant downstairs. THe surrounding town is quaint and there is plenty of green space to walk your dogs and stretch your own legs after a long travel.

Heater knob would not work, lights burned out, terrible check in experience tried to recharge and gave us the wrong room
I have a bogus charge that I need to take the time to try to get off my credit card. I have no idea what it is and did not cause any damage.
Good location. Easy to find. Staff was not professional. We came back to our room one afternoon. A couple doors down a room door was open and it looked like the room had been vacated. We layed down for a nap. When we awoke and left for dinner over 4 hours later that same room was still open. Being a housekeeping manager myself I understood what a security risk this was so I went in the room, collected the keys and secures the door behind me. I went to the front desk and explained the situation and they looked at me like I was from another planet. No thank you or anything. It rather rude. The housekeeping staff wasn't any better. The day we departed I was trying to take our belongings downstairs to load. The items were heavy and bulky. The housekeepers were cleaning the last room on the end and just so happen to be taking a break. I was forced to squeeze through between the cart and the wall even though they could've moved their cart down a few feet as they saw I was struggling to get by each time. When I was force to brush against the cart they gave me a look like how dare I touch the cart. I was also thrown a back by the fact that they decided to take their break and smoke right there by the room. None of them were professional at all. The clothing they had on was definitely not appropriate for work. Granted this is not a 4 star property, it's the small details that can take this property from a 1 star to a 3 star. It's the over all impression. Consider uniforms for your staff (even if it's black slacks (not jeans) all black shoes and a polo shirt). Same thing with your front desk staff. Black slacks and a white button down shirt WITH a name tag! No one seemed to have a name tag. Do not allow your front desk staff to eat at the desk in view of the guests. Make them stand to the back to do that. Also being on a cell phone is not professional either. They are there for the guest and to assist them not converse with whomever on the phone.

The location was excellent and the staff were efficient and friendly. It was unexpectedly quiet too, given its location; though in all fairness the university was not in session during our stay. It was a bit scruffy around the edges. No doubt due to heavy use in a college town. Not a serious issue. I would still recommend it to a friend.
Clean rooms, pleasant staff, reasonably fast WiFi, good selection of breakfast foods, and good soundproofing. Slept soundly despite the surfeit of young children and tweens (but perhaps we were fortunate to be staying in the hotel with a surfeit of well-behaved families). This is function of original design -- narrow corridors and tight turns on ground floor might make navigation difficult for some people.
Love everything about it. Room was beautiful, receptionist was incredibly friendly and nice. Breakfast was really good as well.
There was nothing to like about this place. Desk clerk gave me 3 keys that didn't work for our doo. He followed me up the 3rd time with a key in his hand. I slide the one I had it didn't work again. He slide his it worked. My mother and I entered the room. There was one travel size pillow on both of the beds. The room had an odor to it. My mom is allergic to everything and when she was in there she started to have an asthma attack. We looked at each other and walked back down to the desk. Returned the key and refused to stay here. Everything what to be disliked. I will never book a room here ever again. Most disgusting place ever
Black mold in bathroom, young adults on floor smoking recreational drugs, everything reeked of cigarette smoke my pillow I carry with me due to neck and spine issues now smells of cigarette smoke
Nice staff easy check in
The room was clean. The wifi was fast. The owners were cooperative. Lacking privacy. No food except a marginal breakfast called continental. No iron in the room. Sofa was small and uncomfortable. No locker to keep your valuables in. 90$ was a very high price for this room. I stayed in Hilton Garden Downtown Cleveland at the same price for a month before shifting here.
We had dead bugs in our room
Public hair on dresser and ice chest...trash under bed...blood stains on covers for bed. I had no way to get out of the reservation after going thru your services....so you guys owe me money and I won't be using the service again.
The room was very nice. The town is lovely. It has a lot of potential. Our experience: - Arrived around 10:20 on a Friday night (later than we had expected) - No one at the facility when we arrived - everything locked; no one answered phone (repeated attempts); so we were stuck wandering the perimeter on a could dark winter night in february - We walked around the facility knocking on doors and windows for about 15-20 minutes (it was 20 degrees) - Finally someone happened to drive up (he was there for random maintenance) just as we were about to give up - While the maintenance person went inside to make a call, we waited outside (for about 15 more minutes; recall ~20 degrees) - Finally we were admitted and shown to our room - Turns out the maintenance person was there to work on the water system; so no working shower (since we had been waiting outside in ~20 degree weather for a while it would have been nice to be able to take a warm shower) Next morning: - "MAKE SURE TO STOP BY THE FRONT DESK" on a piece of paper slid under our door; by front desk they mean the cash register of the hair salon - we stopped by -- it was to make sure that they had our credit card on file (even though we had paid electronically beforehand) - we suggested that they let customers know that it is impossible to get in touch with anyone from Solaire after a certain point in the evening (maybe this is posted somewhere, but it certainly wasn't obvious); or maybe someone could be "on call" for customers who have (paid in full) reservations who arrive a little later - the response we got was very defensive: on the order of "it was the receptionist's fault; she was supposed to call you" ok, that's fine, people make mistakes. there seems to a bigger issue with Solaire -- the Inn seems to serve as mostly ignored "add on" to the spa, salon and restaurant. I've worked in the hospitality industry. I don't want this review to sound angry. My wife and i had a really great weekend overall (there's a great cooking school around the corner). We live fairly close and could imagine coming back to the town. its cute. But the Inn just doesn't seem to work as an Inn. If you do give it a try -- maybe make sure to call a few times in advance to make sure they know you're coming and get a sense if they have any interest in customers' actual experience with the Inn.
