The staff was very helpful from the check in to the cleaning staff. Room are clean and comfortable. Great value for the price...
I booked 1 room for my cousin and I Xmas eve and got a very good deal. We arrived late due to flight delays and the staff extended our checkout time for the next day with no questions asked. When we arrived, the young man working guest services, Kenan, was so helpful. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. We are not too familiar with Tallahassee and he gave us some great suggestions for this and future visits. Only complaint would be that the shower curtains need to actually extend with the length of the shower. It's a wheelchair accessible batheroom which is great with a shower containing a convenient seating area for those who need it. Problem is, the shower curtain does not cover that area and the shower head can either be held or placed in a spot where it shoots straight out. Things (bathroom floor) will inevitably get wet.
Very nice people
Shock from hairdryer; no queen beds available; understaffed
Good location with a good price
Third time in this hotel, and like the last time dirty. Hotel need some renovation
The lady working the front desk was very nice and helpful. I had to check out a day earlier and booking my reservation online I don't think I would get money back from not staying the whole time. She credited me for the night I wasn't there which was a huge surprise.
They are doing remodeling on the hotel. They worked late hours and early mornings.
Faculty were friendly and polite.
Bed was not comfortable. Bathroom to small. Breakfast wasn't very good and the dining room wasn't very clean.
Staff was nice, lobby was clean and there was a restaurant attached.
Room was relatively clean but horribly humid! Even with the air conditioning on we were sticky and damp feeling. I realize it's Florida but this was in April, I can't imagine how bad the dampness is in midsummer. Also there were dirty washcloths and wrappers in the bathtub. Shower was also very small. Breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular. Not worth the $130 A night.
The convenience of having an Applebees next door.
The front desk was poorly staffed at the peak check in time. The front desk clerk had a terrible attitude. My reservation was not showing up in her computer system and the only answer she was able to provide was for me to call Kayak/Getaroom directly. She showed no empathy at the fact that they were not able to locate my reservation even though I had a confirmation email. The rooms were ok, the breakfast was ok, overall an OK hotel but felt that the room was overpriced. I stayed in this same hotel about 6 months ago and it was recently renovated. I paid almost double this time and do not feel there was any improvement to warrant the price. Overall, not pleased with this reservation, hotel, nor the entire stay.
1. The location was great for access to FSU. 2. Plenty of parking. 3. Having the restaurant attached to the hotel was terrific! 4. Very easy to get in/out of the parking lot.
1. The odd "split-level" where you had to go up/down stairs to use the elevator once you were inside. 2. The receptionist was rather short/rude upon our arrival. Rather than ask/confirm if we had a confirmation number, we were told there was no room under our name. 3. The bed was very hard & we both were up numerous times during the night as we could not get comfortable.
Location is good
Rooms are dated and
