Pros. Bed was comfy and clean. Staff was very welcoming. One elevator was tied up for construction use, but that wasn't an issue.
Cons. A/C unit didn't seem to be working. Fan worked, but it didn't seem to regulate the temperature at all, room was stuffy. Rusty tub, mirror frame was discolored with black color underneath the clear paint. Fridge, but no microwave (just a missing slot where it used to be).
Pros. Glad to see the needed renovations taking place. Nice place to stay but was looking worn out ... very clean and comfy beds!

At check in 2:45 PM rooms weren't ready but that is understandable Second morning- my girlfriend peeled back the sheets and found something that looked like dead bug carcasses in-between the sheets. That morning at Check-out I handed "Tommy" the receptionist a cup with the three collected items. He apologized but failed to offer any type og discounted rate. When we selected to stay at Hampton Inn-Tampa we did not except to find debris,dead bugs our any other foreign matter in our sheets. I want to know what Hampton Inn is going to do about it? Secondly- the Breakfast Bar food serving area is much to small-
Pros. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They gave me options for a late dinner and offered to drive me in the shuttle van if I wanted to go somewhere beyond walking distance. I stayed there for the airport shuttle since I had a very early flight. The staff was up and ready for me at the time confirmed.
Cons. The "Airport" in the name is a little deceptive since the hotel is actuall 15-20 minutes away from the airport.
