Nothing. Leaving was my highlight.
We arrived during some rain and were shown to our third floor room. We were not given any information about the breakfast, facilities or anything else and just left in the room. We thought it was odd the curtains were closed considering we had a sea view so we went to pull the curtains back and heard a wet splash, looked down and realised we were stood in a puddle of rain water which also happened to have the live tv cables sat in the water and the tv cabinet sat in the puddle also. We went to reception to which the manager smiled at our problem and walked upstairs with us, he looked at the puddle and said well we can just mop it up and if it doesn’t rain again all will be fine. We looked at each other a little stunned at the response instead of insisting on a room change almost instantly. We requested a room change and had to wait (told 10 minutes) 35 minutes later we were allowed to move rooms. The second room was in much better condition, given that the rooms were not anymore expensive we were perplexed to find we had been put into a wet damp room to start with. A poor start to our stay. The second day started with a shabby breakfast, a sheet of paper presented to us with creases, not told what we had to do, after reading through the spelling mistakes we realised we had to pick how we wanted our eggs. The fried eggs were ok. However, tasteless watermelon that had clearly passed its best before date was served to us which was a bit of a worry. The remaining fruit was ok.
the people were really helpful! they organized the safari for us and gave a lot of tips. I really recommend to stay in this hotel!!!
Good location with lovely beaches within walking distance or a short tuktuk ride away.
The restaurant has a lot on the menue but choose wisely and go with the local food.
Beatiful view, nice room, friendly staff. Clothes washing service.
Cockroach in bathroom.
Great view of the ocean fantastic to sleep with the sound of the waves. Great staff always willing to please. The best hone made pizza I have ever had. The pool a big bonus. Rooms a little dated but extremely clean. A small distance from town I think is a bonus away from backpacking district and a cheap tuk tuk ride into town. Really great restaurant on the ocean just across the road.
