Lyndoch was a lovely little town - Great pub and bakery
Room was in poor condition and servicing was poor. Grounds advertised as beautiful rose garden - this wasn't the case.
The restaurant food was very nice and so was the service
The room was comfortable however the bathroom was in need of a make over
The restaurant was amazing!!
All the staff were very helpful, friendly and happy. It made the stay pleasant and especially made the dining experience very comfortable. The food at the restaurant was beyond expectation. We ate there for 3 nights with different meals each time and all of them were absolutely amazing. They were all perfectly cooked and we loved that the chef uses all local or house-made/ grown produce. The dishes were so unique and each night had a different chef’s choice entree which was a good little taste of the Barossa. We easily spent 2 hours at dinner each night. Exquisite!
The photos online seemed to look like the room we booked was more luxurious than what we arrived to. The room was advertised as having a balcony which it did but it was only just big enough for the small table and 2 chairs that were there, with no walking/ spreading out room and then you were right on the steps. It was not the balcony we imagined, rather cramped. The bed was very firm. We had a double but it was actually 2 singles that were pushed together and made up as a double. It created a hard lump in between us in an already firm bed.
Loved the pool area and the staff were all so friendly
