We liked everything, from our comfortable room with a very big balcony and fantastic view to the cosy reception area with a welcoming fireplace and beautifully and serenely designed garden. The breakfast buffet offered fresh healthy breads and a variety of already cut fresh fruits. I particularly enjoyed the coffee served in an individual pot at the table and the fresh eggs cooked according to your wish.
Warm and friendly atmosphere, stunning views of the surrounding mountains, easy parking, delicious breakfast buffet, basic yet comfortable room
First, the staff (a small and very modest family) are so warm and friendly, and also helped us a lot. We came with a baby. They fulfilled every need we had, and even upgraded our room to a much bigger and nicer room then the one we paid for (for free), just so we'd be comfortable with the baby. They also helped us with organizing trips and hikes, to the very last detail. Second, the hotel itself is so beautiful! So much work and tasteful designing have been invested in decorating it. The location is perfect, and the atmosphere is very peaceful. And finally, breakfast! Such a rich and tasty delight! The variety of food cooked and served by this family is so great, and the food is fresh and delicious!
You really see the passion of this family that owns the hotel. The facility was very clean, the stuff helpful and polite. The "Nature" in the hotels name is really their unique symbol. Heating with fire is possible, no plastic waste, awesome breakfast.
The light shines a bit through the curtains in the night, but this is is criticism at a very high level. I visited a lot of hotels and this one was the very best in a positive way.
The room was actually a one-bedroom apartment. It was so beautiful with fantastic views over the valley to the other side. Sometimes there were clouds floating down the valley. We felt so at peace. There were two balconies - one had a table and chairs with chair pads - so many thoughtful extras. The family who runs the place couldn't do enough for us - helped us find a place to get our tire fixed, found us an equestrian stable to go horseback riding, suggested driving tours, etc. We extended our stay an extra three days because we loved it so much.
parking in underground garage is a bit challenging when the hotel is full - people are not always considerate when using tight spaces so we had to do a bit of shifting around, but this is not unusual in Europe. We were initially worried that there was no air conditioning but the place is high up in the mountains and we really didn't need it.
