Pros: What an amazing and charming location. Vincenzo was so attentive and wonderful. He picked us up from the port and drove us where her we needed to go! We booked an apartment for 5 people and it was cozy and comfy. Clean and decent size for 5 people. The breakfast included was a feast! All homemade and delicious!! When we return to Tinos we will be staying there again!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is a real treat! They have a farm in the center of the village that delivers fresh, organic produce every morning from eggs to fresh bread, to fruits and vegetables! Every morning was a treat, great thing to get up to and to prepare for a long day at the beach...!! Worth mentioning is also the host, Vincenzo himself, very pro-active and trying to fulfill all guests needs at almost any cost!
Cons: With small kids, the street inbetween our room and the restaurant wasn't too great but a good leaning place since there aren't that many cars so now back home our little girl might be ready for the big streets soon.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Vincenzo was an outstanding host and was very attentive with his hospitality. The breakfasts were so fresh and plentiful, the room had been recently refurbished and was ultra modern and ever so comfortable for sleeping. We were provided with evening drinks and a fruit plate and Vincenzo drove us out of town to our restaurant booking. The staff even washed and ironed my clothes.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Vincenzo and his team made our stay in Tinos unforgettable. Our 6- month - old baby had a very nice time, too!we had everything we asked for (baby cot, kettle). Our room was cleaned twice a day, breakfast was great (fresh bread, fruits, cake, etc etc) and the staff was really polite and helpful. In general we would say we had a 5 - star - hotel treatment in a family hotel. When back to Tinos, we will choose Vincenzo's rooms for sure.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The whole ambiance of the hotel was fantastic - from the lovely staff to the quality rooms and the superb home made breakfast every day. We really felt part of the ‘Vincenzo’ family

Pros: Christina is a wonderful host, warm and welcoming. She treated us like family and she is warm and authentic. The room was really comfortable and quiet. It is within a short walk from the harbor and all the restaurants. We wish we could stay longer. We will definitely be back!!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All, very clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I totally recommend this place. Position is perfect, nearby the pedestrian area but still quiet and most of all you can park in front of Filoxenia if you rent a car. Personal is always smiling and very efficient. You will find all you need in Filoxenia!
Cons: All good
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The family running the studios very kindly picked us up and returned us to the ferry. We were really grateful for this as it is quite a walk and up a steep hill. They were very helpful and kind and even offered us lifts to the beach. A small room but very comfortable for a short stay. They were always willing to sort out any kitchen bits we needed. A small kitchen area suitable for snacks. Christina very kindly put complimentary coffee and lovely cakes in the morning. Right next to the large church that has numerous pilgrims visit it. That meant you're able to visit at quieter times during the heat of the day. About 15 minutes walk to the sea front with numerous shops, restaurants and bars. Several quite large supermarkets are available nearby. Also a small bus station nearer the harbour for trips to the villages inland.
Cons: Quite a steep hill to walk to the apartment. Easier going down!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Christina is an excellent host, going out of her way to help. Very close to the big church so easy to visit when the crowds have died down.
Cons: Having to cut short our trip by one day because of a ferry strike on the day we planned to go back to Athens.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The welcomeness of Christina combined with the perfect location of the hotel on the port and main town makes Filoxenia one of the best places you can stay at in Tinos.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Christina was very kind and provide us everything we needed for our stay. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds! A/C is a must during summer but the rooms are cool even in the hot days. Definitely would like to come back sometime!
Cons: Everything was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Filoxenia is a small, typical greek family-run guest house situated in the calm neighborhood near the Church of Panagia. It's about 10 minutes walk from the port and in our opinion (I was traveling with my wife) there is no better place to stay on Tinos. The room was VERY clean (cleaned every day), spacious and well equipped with a great view from the balcony. Christina (the owner) is a real example of greek hospitality. Always has a smile on face, helpful and interested in her guests. Unfortunately it's not so common nowadays (I know what I am saying because I am at Syros now and the host is absolutely oposite mentality of Christina) so it should be said once again that there is no better place to stay on Tinos than Filoxenia. The Wi-Fi was fine (I had some problems with it but who goes to the greek islands to stay at the hotel and use the Internet ;) ) ? Anyway all best Christina and hope to see You next year :) !
Cons: NOTHING !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice view, friendly staff, and really great mattresses I had best best sleep ever.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, with nice view out over the town. Very clean, the beds were very comfotable. Parking was easy, just outside the property. Owner was really helpful. Lift from the port
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Location close to centre but quiet with great sea views. Nico's advice on what to see and how to get there (we used buses) was really helpfull. The Hotel is beautifully furnished, with a great bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was in a great location for us, situated within walking distance to the town and close to the beach we like to go to. The room was large and clean. The owners are very nice and take great pride in their business. Breakfast was delicious with an attractive presentation. The best enclosed showers I have experienced in Greece (do not have to worry about the water going all over the bathroom floor).
Cons: The one key per room made it a little challenging to re-enter the property of the key was left with someone staying at the property.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very kind and helpful staff (transfer to the port, maps, etc.) Tasty breakfast Still close to the port but more quiet Single rooms available Quite easy to park the car around the hotel Overall great value for price
Cons: A shower curtain is missing, especially considering the size of the room. Electrical panel a bit noisy, probably just needs a check.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the clean and beautifully decorated rooms. The facilities were all you needed and the view from the balcony watching the sunset was amazing. Breakfast is also fantastic! The staff were so happy to help, picking me up at the ferry port and dropping me off (even telling me which queue is which) and giving recommendations about what to visit (including how it can work with the bus timetable).
Cons: Loved everything! The only thing I’d say is if you don’t travel light, then try to book one of the larger rooms as otherwise storage space may be limited (I had no trouble at all with one small suitcase and bag).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Agnantio has a very good location, it’s a quiet place, the rooms are cosy, nice and clean. Nikos and Antonia are the best hosts. For breakfast there’s a wide variety to choose from including Antonia’s freshly made delights every morning.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast (homemade food by Mother) Good information provided by Kosmas for having a perfect vacation on Tinos
7.9 Good
Pros: Located in the city centre on the north side of the harbour. A 2-3 storey building with inner garden, full of light and many flowers. The owners were very friendly, gentle and helpfull. We could park our car on the road outside the premises. The room was spacious and recently renovated. The beds were comfortable. Everithing was extremely clean and brand new.
Cons: No lift but this is expected in this style of building. No bedside table and drawers. The decoration was a bit overwhelming. Small bathroom. Quite expensive.

Pros: Excellent staff Room with view Homey atmosphere
Cons: Bathroom too small No kettle or coffee machine in the room

Pros: Awesome place in the town center. The owner was so kind and gentle, he offered to collect me at the port.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice family with down -to -earth friendliness and warmth. Homemade grape jam in the fridge for all to enjoy. There were great photos and decor of the dovecotes which are all over Tinos to see and admire. The hotel has very quick access to the bus station and port. One day I had to catch a bus at 6:15 and the way to the bus from my room took only five minutes, therefore I made the bus !
Cons: The actual space inside the shower stall is too small for a rather big person. There isn't much to do about it though given the overall size of the bathroom. A shower is a luxury in any case when water is limited so it is not hard to accept the situation.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hosts Aggelikoula and Michael were very friendly and picked us up from the ferry and organised a taxi to the next accommodation. Beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. Good WiFi too. The location is right by some excellent restaurants, yet also quiet at night.
Cons: We had a great time at the accommodation, just staying one night. Our room had a smoking area right outside which wasn't ideal, so best to check in advance if this would be unsuitable for you too.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: We were surprised about how big the room is. The balcony was very nice. The location is very good.
Cons: There are 3 things that need to be changed in the property profile. 1. The location on booking.com was very wrong. We walked around for more than half n hour looking for the place. Better to google search it. 2. There is no "shared kitchen". It is a private kitchen in the room but the equipment is poor and not really meant for cooking. 3.we assume that because it was not the high season - there was not hot water between 22:00-09:00 (during the night and morning).

10.0 Excellent
Pros: As a vegan, I appreciated the oatmeal, fresh fruit, and tomatoes/cucumbers at breakfast; my roommate was very impressed with all the pastries made from scratch. One morning, the buffet featured cooked mushrooms which were absolutely delicious--I wished that they were featured every day. The staff were extremely helpful arranging for a driver to take us around the island and make sure we didn't miss our 1:55 a.m. ferry to another island. They also kindly assisted us with printing out various boarding passes. Loved the architecture, landscaping, pool, and location.
Cons: The wifi was problematical in our roommate, despite many efforts to resolve it. Also, we didn't know that the hotel provided free transportation from the ferry, so we paid a taxi. Perhaps this could be communicated beforehand.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff at the Anthia Hotel were terrific . They were very very helpful in helping me sort where to get a rent a car , best phone service , and other things that I had interest in. Cons: Beware safe in our room (5) was not attached to anything Safe could have been taken from room with contents if room was broken into Please ensure that the safe is bolted down in your room before leaving passports valuables etc in it
5.0 Okay
Pros: The hotel was clean, tidy, well decorated with a lovely pool and restaurant area. The breakfast selection was always of the highest standard. Lunch and dinner was always of a high standard and the service was good.. with friendly bar and restaurant staff. A special mention to the spa - a nice, personal touch.
Cons: Unfortunately the island is subject to quite severe winds in summer months - clearly not the fault of the hotel, however, the noise in the hotel room was relentless and little/if anything had been done to provide barriers to the wind for guest to enjoy the surroundings. The manager and reception staff are polite, however, on a number of occasions the attention to detail was poor. For example, the pool area, bar and restaurant were 'closed' from lunch time throughout the entire afternoon and evening due to a wedding which had been booked in the hotel and staff merely explained that a note had been put on the noticeboard in the entrance area - very frustrating to be a hotel guest, who had booked for 5 nights at the hotel to be physically barred from the hotel facilities for 20% of our time there. Staff seemed to think that there was nothing wrong with this arrangement and actually refused to serve food or drink during the afternoon while they prepared for the 8 pm wedding - leaving us with little option other than to walk or take a taxi to the nearby town of Tinos to quench our thirst, then of course to suffer the noise of the wedding throughout the entire evening, literally a stones throw from our hotel room. The entrance area contained signs promoting services for example 'Tinos Food and Wine Experience', however, when asking about these we were told they were no longer available, it would seem sensible then to remove such advertisements. The hotel manager offered to arrange a 'private historical trip with tasting of local food and wine ' for us with an English speaking guide for 120 euros... which all sounded good in principle.

Pros: The kind welcome and the helpfulness of the landlady were wonderful. She waited for me and another couple, though our ferry was late, and was very good about driving to and from the ferry. She was also very accepting of me waiting for the ferry at her place for a couple of hours after check out. It was a beautiful place to wait - much nicer than the ferry terminal!
Cons: It's not that I didn't like the location, and I knew when I booked about the apartments being on the edge of town. However, you might want to consider that it's a hot trudge into the town centre.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely helpful hosts.

Tinos is a lovely island with pretty villages and good beaches. Would highly recommend Parathyro Sto Aigaio even though it's a short stroll in the main town.

Pros: The room was very big and spacious, the bathroom was also big. Lots of room. Everything was clean, the room was cleaned everyday and had fresh towels everyday. The family who own the apartments were lovely! They gave us homemade cake, fresh melon and figs from their trees. We did not rent a car so they offered to drive us to the market, the centre, the beach and the church..nearly everyday. Very much appreciated! They are a very nice, lovely family with lovely apartments and views. They made our stay in Tinos so much better. I would stay here again.

Pros: The interior decoration throughout the hotel is beautiful. Although our room was small, it was nicely decorated, and had a small, quiet fridge. The staff were very helpful, and when we discovered we'd left an item of clothing behind, they posted it to us. They also organised an excellent tour by taxi so we could see some of the picturesque villages.
Cons: From the ferry port, we had to walk along a very busy road with no pavements to reach the hotel (about 20 mins walk), as there were no taxis at the port. The swimming pool is tiny, more for aesthetics than for swimming!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to town, clean, with a great staff and a nice breakfast. Good WiFi and many amenities you’d find at a large style hotel.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We made the best choice regarding this hotel. The stuff was super friendly and helpful. They told us every day which places to visit in the Island. We had the junior suite for two , which had a big bathroom a double bed, sofa, balcony and small kitchen. It was very comfortable. The room was cleaned every day and the towels were changed every day. They even offered us extra towels for the beach. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had in vacations, since it had all available options as well as homemade products and local products from the island. Of course the swimming pool was dreamy. I would reccomend this hotel for couple vacations for sure. The location was great since it was just outside the main Chora (in Chora at night you cannot use a car) and you had immediate access to all the roads.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were exceptional and the hotel was comfortable and clean. Location was perfect for getting into town and there is a lovely beach very nearby. The pool was a perfect sun trap in the afternoons and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing there before we went out in the evenings. Breakfast was varied and healthy. I would definitely return when we go back to Tinos.
