Friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast (Nordic), pretty location on the water, an hour from Sandefjord Torp airport, a bit off the beaten track but handy base for exploring Oslofjorden, plenty of parking, sauna + pool, hotel bar

Very pleasant & helpful staff, very clean hotel, breakfast buffett amazing, family room had plenty of space, bathroom very clean, overall a great place to stay, location was good for seeing the quieter side of Norway away from the Cities, Line on reception was a credit to the hotel. Perfect location, beautiful views from the room and very friendly staff doing their best during the whole our stay. I strongly recomment the hotel for its history and old traditions which they keep very strongly. Everybody speaks very good English.

Just to fulfill the cell - wi-fi would be better to make free of charge.

Beautiful old hotel in a perfect position in its lovely town. Very quiet and full of old-fashioned atmosphere.

No major problems but I did get the impression that the hotel catered principally for Norwegian guests. There was, for instance, very little information for English speakers (either oral or written) and no wi-fi internet in bedrooms. Even the public area wi-fi had to be paid for.

I liked the mineral spa and had a very nice meal

I had booked an 80 minute facial but it only lasted 50 minutes. The bathroom was small with a very small shower. Breakfast was nothing special.

Discrete hotel situated very central and at Bryggan. Cosy hotel in an international environment.

Perhaps the bar and restaurant could have been better reachable and better staffed.

Location was great. On the dock by the bay and short walks to transportation and sights.

My son and I are of Norsk descent, so not short but also not heavy. We found the twin beds very narrow. More so then the other Thon hotel's we stayed at during our trip.

Very small room. No power in bathroom and main light in bedroom was not working. Staff was not able to help correctly. Only 2 towels for bath. Shampoo and handwashing cream were obviously bought at the local low cost supermarket. Extremely high price for the service given. Worth a 2 stars maximum.

The Hotel was very nice located in Tønsberg city and the breakfast was very good.

When we arrived the Hotel 6.30 p.m there was no hot water (too cold to shower). 11.30 p.m the water was still cold. Very disapointing for a Hotel rated 5 stars. The water was warm enough for a shower in the morning.

Staff incredibly helpful and friendly. Great views. Lovely location. Only 200 NKR to keep the room until 5pm on our last day.

Room a bit cold and no controls that worked. Breakfast a little stale but then it was New Year and there were very few guests.
