We liked location. Nothing els
No mirror in the bathroom. The matrass is terrible. No TV.
Firstly, the landlord is a very kind retired professor and she is also a considerate person. In addition, the room is clean enough for tired travellers to comfortably settle in. What's more, the price of the room is quiet affordable for a student like me especially in the metropolitan Toronto.
No toilet paper, no hand towel, shared bathroom was completely disgusting and dirty, gave us one tiny bath towel for 3 people, only gave us one key that we had to ask for (she wasn't originally going to give us a key), scammed us, owner was insanely rude
Nancy was very nice! The kitchen on the first floor was dirty; the sink and kitchen table filled with dirty dishes. There was also a bedroom on the first floor with clothes stacked on the bed a mile high! Other things everywhere on the floor! The bathroom didn't have hand soap, not even towels to dry your hands after washing them with no soap! The place is DARK when you walk into the house. There should be a few lights on so that you feel welcome and see where you are going. They never turned on the first-floor lights during my stay, The decorations inside the room (curtains, furniture) were the worse! When I visit a hotel, I expect furniture that enhances the experience, not make me regret my actions. I have never regretted my stays at a hotel. I regret staying at the Charlton Suites Guest House. In my house every room is clean. That's how I like it. When I go to my friends' houses, their houses are clean! I feel welcome. I didn't feel welcome at this dark, dirty and no soap establishment.
The room is super cold and there’s no internet at the basement, she asked us to take off our shoes the floor was chilly and there’s no slippers she should allow us to wear our shoes cuz the basement is frozen the host seems poor and mean, I left some garbage on the table and then she called me and said I have to clean it up for next customer , that’s really funny I spent 200 dollars for no heat no internet and can’t even leave some mess the host is so rude and it’s the worst place I’ve ever stayed in my life if u go to Toronto better choose somewhere else:P
