Pros. Facilities were excellent, room was comfortable and quiet. Bellmen and Valets were quiet good. Clerks were efficient—with billing error quickly corrected.
Cons. Shortly after arriving we wandered into the library restaurant. There was a sign that said: “Wait to be Seated.” We did so and the hostess asked our Room number and we complied. We were seated and we proceeded to the serve yourself area with plates in hand and a few items on our plate when we were informed by a gentleman that we were not eligible for that restaurant. We said we were sorry and proceeded to return the plates with food on them. We secured our belongings from the table and left. A small sign would have been quite helpful where we entered saying the restaurant had restrictions on who could be seated. We had not been the hotel long at the time and I later read in a publication that restaurant had restrictions. There were no signs posted in the hotel that I could find regarding restaurants that explained the situation. I don’t want to blow this out of proportion but it was somewhat embarrassing.
Pros. Rooftop pool on the 28th floor was amazing!
Cons. Honestly, we're booked and paid for a room with 3 guests, but everything from soap and shampoo to bathrobes and coffee cups for the Nespresso machine were for only 2 people. We had to call and request extra supplies.
Pros. Clean, modern hotel. Staff very friendly, helpful. Nice amenities in the room: coffee, milk, water, lights, etc.
Cons. Hard to figure out room - controls difficult to find, shower uncomfortable, not enough storage space in room. Hotel is in a deserted wasteland with no restaurants and 1 coffee shop in a mile radius. Toronto is in the middle of a lock-out with the A/V union at the next-door convention center, so every 6:15 am we were woken up by someone shouting through a megaphone at the hotel, saying we should be ashamed of ourselves.
Pros. Rooftop pool Rooms Amenities
Cons. Inexperienced bar staff uneven food offerings
