This large and comfortable hotel is situated a few miles from Treviso airport and an ideal place to stay before catching a flight so long as you have transport to get to the airport which is about a ten minutes drive away by car. The hotel is situated close to a main road which is fairly busy around rush hour and it lays within the confines of a business estate.
the spa part of the hotel.yhe atmosphere was very relaxing
the food and the staff both excellant
restaurant, very good!!!
breakfast swimming pool opening times, lady working at the spa entrance, the hotel is quite old and does not seem so on the website
the hotel was clean and very well presented, the staff were helpful, knowlegable and curtious. The local train station to take you to Venice was only a 10min walk or 2min car journey away therefore the hotel is well located for tourists.
Reception Staff were brilliant. This is a perfect hotel for business as a base for visiting Venice. Treviso town centre is 15 minutes a way by car and then 30 minutes by train to Venice so not a bad location fo tourists. Treviso centre is clean and safe and relaxed. Wish we could have spent more time there. Ample parking at the hotel. Everything was excellent
Between Airport and Railway station Air conditioning can be noisy
Located near to airport, and on a direct route to Venice, the prime purpose of the visit. Flexible restaurant, al la carte, or pizza options. Friendly and helpful staff. Room too hot, unable to adjust temperature.
The hotel was excellent. The staff were very helpful and everyone spoke good english (we don't speak any italian) The room rate was very good for this standard of hotel(4 star) and the prices for food and drinks was very reasonable. Will definitely stay at this hotel again when we next visit this area.
Fantastic location next to railway station and close to Treviso centre. Nothing to dislike
An excellent location with the added bonus of the airport bus drop point only 500 yrds approx from the hotel door. Staff very friendly and helpful Hotel is a little dated but that is well out weighted by the excellent location and price
Staff personell Old structure that remains too old but not classic!
bedroom should be refurbished. staff very helpful. location good.
Excellent position next to the center and the train station. Price is right for a 2 stars hotel in the city centre, the way it should be rated It used to be a luxury hotel many years ago and the lobby still looks nice, but the rooms are just "old" now. Furniture needs an urgent restoration. Breakfast is very poor.
Location, location, location. First bus stop after the railway station (if you can force your way out - make sure you stand in the middle of the bus!). Some great restaurants and cafes nearby. Our favorite was the restaurant near the Carlton hotel - expensive but very good. The cafe between the Continental and the station was friendly. The hotel itself was good value. Mirrors everywhere, shiny parquet floors and a fantastic shoe cleaning machine The barman evenings only) is a star. Our room was spotless and the largest, most comfortable bed we have ever had in a hotel; the breakfast was more than adequate. Reception very friendly and helpful. It takes about 3/4 hour to get into Venice and on to the Vaporetto. Treviso itself is worth at least a day. The tourist office is not apparently signposted apart from 10 metres away, but they have some pretty maps and is worth finding on the first day rather than the last as we did. The market, Tuesdays and Saturdays is very extensive. We really got a taste for the local fizzy white wine, Prosecco. Having brought some back I would say that it tasted much better outside in the warm Italian evening sunshine than looking at the grey clouds scudding overhead. Look out for the free organ concerts. Air Conditioning worked but was very noisy - I suppose it drowned out any traffic noise. Don't advise taking the bus back to the airport at school home time (13:00). Splash out on a taxi, it would be well worth it.
Clean bed linen every day, polite friendly staff, location very handy for Treviso itself and for visiting other cities eg Venieza Padova Vicenza. Rooms a little warn, but still execellent value.
It was very convenient for train and bus stations and also for the centre of Treviso.
Decor a bit dated. air conditioning not ver eficient
I loved the faded elegance and the location. I will recommend it to anyone I know who is planning on taking a trip to Treviso/Venice. The restaurant around the back - recommended by hotel staff - was fabulous. Some members of the group were woken very early by a lot of noise from bin collection - I didn't hear much personally.
unly 2 elevators for the entire hotel .caused problems during breakfast
The hotel was clean in a great location & I would stay there again. I didn't like the bed because it was with rollers other than that everything was great.
It's a little bit old, but nice n clean. No coffee maker. Otherwise, nice n close to public transportation. (Cross street from train station to Venice.)
location , accessibilty lift not working -seemed to be regular thing .breakfast quality not as expected
The hotel is across the train station but we were able to sleep with no noise, it was great since we were so tired from daily trips. Breakfast could have been better.
Updated rooms, comfortable bed, quiet, right across from train station to Venice, huge buffet breakfast, large bathroom, excellent wi-fi, luggage storage, centrally located Nothing
Large comfortable and clean rooms, good breakfast. Rooms very quiet considering opposite train station. Excelllent location at a resonable price for those wanting to get into Venice. Staff efficient
Hotel was right in front of the Venezia Mestre rail station that would take you to Venezia S.L. in 8 minutes for a couple of Euros. Most of the staff spoke English, but there were a few bumps in communication. No ice machine (found out that it's a European thing) The Double Bed was actually two singles put together.
The location is excellent, just opposite the train station in Mestre. All you have to do is cross the street. The room was nice, with a huge bed and a big bathroom. The staff was very kind, always trying to help. The breakfast was good (cereals, milk, tea, coffee, juice, toast, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, ham, yellow cheese, muffins, croissants), but if you stay more than 2 or 3 days you need some diversity. And they have free wireless internet :) The heating worked just great, it was actually very hot in the room. So you won't freeze in Venice, as someone complained here earlier. The view from our room was not that good, towards the back of the hotel but that was only a minor detail. Since we didn't stay all day in the room this didn't matter.
Not much to say nice bout this place!! More like a 3* hotel than 4*, unfriendly staff overall, At breakfast had a rude waiter who would not bring me a Cafe latte when i asked for one politely even though he got one for an italian couple nearby!!! He Kept guiding me to the machine Americano stuff,,, If i wanted Americano I would have said so!!!! Not impressed with this place,, awful rooms with mosquitos!! Lobby was so hot and humid,, trying to save Electricity or faulty Aircon. ? Not impressed at all
convenient location, excellent value for money
Friendly, hospitable reception. Comfortable room. Free bicycle facility. Good, if slightly expensive, restaurant next door. Bus stop just across the road for access into town. Nothing - everything was fine.
The staff were friendly and helpful
Everything really - friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms, good food, great pool and nice location ! Ten out of ten!
The Staff were very friendly/ helpful, printed of maps of the area/knew travel times
Extremely helpful and pleasant team. They went out of their way to accomodate our needs. No
Sauna It needs some refurbishment and attention to detail (rg bathroom basin plug)
Although we only stayed one night everything about the hotel was first class from very helpful staff to co operation by restaurant staff on the saturday after the match to ensure we ate before taxi arrived. Nothing
pool great gym great.management very helpful .could avail of hotel's own bikes if needed bar facilities not great only bottled beer and a bit pricey
Great room, spacious and clean. Excellent location close to the train station and close to Treviso centre.
Conveniently located to the train station and shopping or walking. The room was in the older building wing of the hotel and was quite infested with ants.
The staff was very helpful, even in cases of limited English. We had to hurry out the following morning and did not fully partake of the breakfast buffet, but it was extensive in choices. Also, the locale proved to be a great one for a Sat. night visit. Very lively with crowds strolling through pedestrian-friendly streets and filling the cafes.
went to see my rugby team
the hotel is in a central area close to treviso center, the room was huge and very clean. the staff was friendly and we enjoyed staying there
Location is very good.Servis in room is good. The is uncomfortable because is very very strong. Warm water is not suficient.
Its convenience to excellent public transport - trains and buses. The pleasantness of the staff and especially the trouble that Barbara in reception whent to in order to get us very detailed tourist information The breakfast was of poor quality in our opinion.
Central location, clean and modern facilities.
It was near the city and the railway station. We had a nice and clean room with good breakfast. Nothing spesial.
It's location was excellent. Very comfortable for a short stay. The view from the window.
The location was nice, just opposite the most attractive part of Venice on the mainland, with complimentary shuttle circulating 2 times/hr all day long. This was quite convenient for sightseeing. Lack of technical maintenance. As for a this class of hotel, too many things (especially in the bathroom) were fixed provisionally (e.g. tightened with toilet paper or just hanging loose, not to touch), so that on several occasions I found myself staring with confusion at some loose piece of armor in my hand. Each day we had problems with entering the room and had to report at the reception for re-coding our keycards. Getting to a TV channel of interest on the hotel TV was a challenge on it's on (perhaps this was faulty remote, but seems rather to be something wrong with the hotel TV menu).
Location Free shuttle Cleanliness Would stay here again Heard people walking upstairs most of the night Concierge gave me different answers when I asked the same question Long wait for shuttle boat
Beautiful views of The city of venice, good free connections to Venice. Was not made to feel welcome, we had two small children, and felt this was a business hotel first and foremost. Although this was my partners and my Honeymoon, we have no childcare. So had to take our children long, there was no effort to make this a memorable stay, even though I had made them aware well in advance.
The view from the rooftop bar was amazing For the expensive room rate, I was shocked by a couple of things: - there was no free/included wifi - there were mosquitoes in the room. is it terribly hard to install screens? - there were stains on the wall from mosquitoes being squashed/killed - service was just OK One night is not enough time to take advantage of the amenities you're paying for.
Rooftop Restocking the room
Location The room was not clean at check in. Used amenities. 1 sopa for 2 persona. A lot of mosquitos. Very small shower.
The staff are very helpful and friendly The room was right in front of the pier of the hotel and during the night it can be very noisy. They should improve their windows for better soundproofing.
I was a pleasant trip thanks to the Hilton. I received the best service. And has provided me a beautiful view of Venice. If you go to Venice, I will go back to the Hilton. Thanks for making my travel special. Thank you :-)
not too much. I must say I am totally disappointed with my stay. I selected this particular propert because they had stated that they do have SPA facilities in the hotel. On the arrival we had been told that kids are not allowed in the SPA and, moreover, we need to pay extra for entering the SPA. I was not stated here in the hotel policies and the bookling representative told tha Hilton fills the data on booking for themselves. Hilton guys were saying just the opposite thing.
Staff were very helpful
- Clean. - Comfort. The Location.
The building is fantastic and the room was very comfortable Venice is not famous for bellboy service, it's the second time we stay there and carry the luggage to our room.
Very new, large room. Large bathtub. Very comfortable bed. Very accomodating staff. Restaurant was excellent. We chose the location as we were flying out of Marco Polo the next day, but we did not want to stay in Mestre. It is an easy 30 minute drive into Marco Polo airport from the hotel. Print your map or bring your GPS. Unlike many hotels in Italy, Al Ronchetto had no road signs pointing you to it from the nearby village. However, a quick call to the desk got me directions in English. Also there is no sign at the driveway entrance identifying the hotel. I recognized the hotel from the website photos, and as we advanced up the driveway a small sign confirmed it as Al Ronchetto
Nice room and excellent service from staff
1. Very friendly staff. 2. Nice, big and new rooms. 3. Good breakfast (comparing to Italy, of course). 4. Free internet. 5. Good hotel restaurant (you may consider 1km away restaurant as a cheaper option). 1. No swimming pool and other spa facilities.
Nice hotel like agriturism taste! Room is fine and clean, Restaurant is very good and ambient is so nice surrounded by wine trees..... Location is not so far from Outlet shopping center at San Donà di Piave and also Venice. It is recommendable to stay at least for a few days.
Very beautiful and fresh hotel, it is very easy to find. I liked the price and quality good proportion!
Clean, modern/new rooms, quiet, comfortable beds, adequate buffet breakfast. Good value for money. Bit out of nowhere unless you have a car. If you want to visit Venice by ACTV boat the hotel is about 1 hour driving from Punta Sabbioni (only 40km but small roads and much traffic). Driving to Venice Piazza Roma might be shorter on motorway.
friendly and helpfull staff, good pizza and spaghetti carbonara. lovely all round.
Very good and nice kamping. Wery good food excellent kitchen staff. Special thanks for very nice and helpful Monica from reception
Location is quite far from Venedig but still easy to find The room is far too small for 4 persons, it's more suitable for 2 persons. Most of the equipments are not in good conditions anymore.
We arrived at Jolly in early morning and were able to enter the room emediately, which ws very kind from their staff. Location is a little bit critical especialy if you are coming to Jolly late at night.
Helpful staff, youth atmosphere, facilities in the village Very basic room, beds, sheets, blankets...etc. But acceptable for a camping village.
Nice friendly stuff, location is ok. Not everything is working like it should. E.g. sever was blocked.
The rooms were well kept and had everything I needed the weather that day
I have been there only 2 days. Everything was ok. Cleanliness great. I would return there if I liked Venice;)
This place had a hostel type atmosphere with the ability for privacy as well. The staff was friendly, the facilities within camp jolly are excellent and the shuttle made getting to and from Venice very easy. This place had many different types of people from all ages and places. It was a greay way to see Venice and make some friends along the way The breakfast at camp jolly was average. You might be better off buying your own somewhere else
It was cheap, there was a nice bar area to hang out in, and the shuttle to venice was very convenient. The walls are thin, you can hear neighbors easily. Should probably have a bath towel to step on, and the shower head sprayed sideways at certain points. Also, why only being able to pay with the card? Inconvenient to have to go to the office to fill the card and then be able to buy things around the campsite.
the beds were clean, the room was lockable, access to a food store, short distance to Venice pool attendant was not friendly, noisy guests in next trailer, there were no guest reviews available online.
The camping was really far from public transportation. Good thing is the shuttle service to Venice. Bungalow as such is really good and has all facilities for sleeping and spending the night comfortably.
friendly staff ,location close to the airport and town centre and cleaniness. The balcony.
The room was clean, breakfast was quite good and hotel staff helpful and friendly. Close to the airport and eaisily accessible by public transport. The walls seem to be thin and some noise was coming from the neighbouring room at night.
we found the room very spacious and comfortable. The staff were very obliging and the breakfast very good . Although we only stayed one night we would definately stay there again. no
Clean room and good breakfast! Good value for money. Location good if you want to be close to airport and not want a buzy or noisy city center. Good that the room have international television with many different languages. Hotel restaurant was closed, the only nearby restaurant was a pizzeria located 150 meters cross street but that restaurant was rather good!
Very good breakfast. Close to Venice and not too far from the airport, The staff was nice and helpful and told us about restaurants in the neigbourhood (there weren´t so many). Try the Pizzeria on the other side of the road.
The performance of staff was excellent comparing to other hotels There is not enough sign to find the hotel by car!!!!!!!!!!! Even use of via Michelin, we lost and we did not get the right way for 3 hours. After 6 hours driving it was not a pleasant memory. We choose the hotel to reach easier Venice and our business place. Venice took 2 hours!!!!!!! It would be nice to advice for your guest the right route or traffic line. We did not find any map to see the possibilities.
Please write at least 15 words
good room temperature - not too hot good breakfast Bars and restaurant being closed Saturday
The staff, parking, location, comfortable bed, The air conditioning was really noisy and the bar was closed
The guy at the reception is extremely friendly and polite. Thank you for a wonderful weekend at Treviso.
ecxellent personell, extremely friendly and helpful
The friendliness of the staff and their asssistance. Could do with some sort of improvement to the soundproofing - especially in regard to the toilet above our room !would be nice to have a full length mirror in the \bedroom.
The charm of the place was only superceded by the helpfulness of the staff. The location was excellent as well: Just far away enough from the city to feel non-urban and close enough for us to enjoy urban priviledges. And to top four days of high quality service, they even offered to drive us to the airport in the wee hours of the morning. We highly recommend B&B Mezzaluna.
Very comfortable B&B-clean, quet, good service, delitious breakfast, take to the airport. Personal is very helpful.
Cmplete helpfulness of staff no query too small to be answered. We were given a free lift back to treviso airport which is only 15 minutes away by car. If you like peace and tranquility go there !!!
A relaxing & clean home from home, with discreet & friendly service by the owners, in the suburbs of this beautiful small city. Meet & great airport transfer service was included in the price. It was more like staying in a family home than a hotel. Ideal for a stop-over before or after a flight from Treviso airport. Not that convenient for an evening in the city, as the bus stops running 8.25 & taxi's are very expensive, although there are a few restaurants nearer. City is about a 30 minute walk.
The position is very good for rest, not crowded, silent area. Staff pretty nice, room clean and confortable. The breakfast is poor for somebady who consider it the most important meal of the day.
Quiet Limited Breakfast
First and foremost, the courtesy, helpfulness and friendliness of the family. The combination of being taken care of and having the independence of our own key suited us very well, and meant we were able to return late in the evening without having to make arrrangements in advance - not always the case in a B&B.
Very clean, friendly staff lovely and always able to answer any queiries. Room nicely decorated, bathroom lovely. Abit out of the centre and only seems to be pizza available in the surronding area!
Very good hotel.the hotel staff is very helpful.
The staff were very helpful and pleasant, and the bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. A very comfortable and clean place to stay!
Excellent hotel, staff very helpful and decoration of rooms fab. Good for a one night stop over. Easy to walk into the city although was further than the 1km we were told.
They were very puntual with our shuttle for an early flight out in the morning There was no restuarant open on a Monday night in the area around the hotel and no elevator
Hotel was well run and offered excellent customer service. Staff were very pleasant and were really very helpful.
Doing nothing for a week
The courtesy of the staff, nothing was too much trouble, the room was fabulous and the food superb. The location was just right, the hotel itself was a fantastic building and the decor was out of this world. No
The fantastic views across the venetian lagoon - main reason for choosing it. Service was also very high - they really wanted to help, even when the hotel was busy. A true 5* luxury hotel for a special occcasion. Everything was very expensive but it is a 5* hotel in Venice so you can expect nothing else! having a room ovrlooking the lagoon was great but you also get the noise - there is a major waterbus stop just outside (24 hour service) and a continuous flood of tourists passing so you are right in the middle of the bustle of Venice. Choose a room without the views ora hotel in a location away from San Marco if you want peace and quiet.
Definitely the location and the cadre, interior opulent surroundings. Professional and courteous concierge service. Comfortable large bed. The magnificent rooftop terrace. The only reservation was our room which although very large with high ceiling yet was quite dated, some worn out furniture, rusty heating grills, insufficient lighting, and mosquitoes. The bathroom was especially not up to par and to the high standard we expected.
The Terrace Breakfast
the location, the history and interior fittings of the room,we did not really use any of the facilities we were not there long enough the receptionist said we had a restricted view, this actually meant no view , you could touch the building opposite, this was very dissapointing
This is a superb hotel, in a cracking location, litterally a couple of minutes walk from St Mark's Square, and seconds from the airport water bus stop.. The room and public areas were lovely. We saw no evidence of the staff being unhelpful, quite the contrary, they were very efficient, friendly and welcoming. Recommended. Nothing
extremely professional staff, wonderful room, amazing location, a simply extraordinary hotel nothing
comfort and design of the room, view breakfast is too expensive
Location and nice hotel restaurant. We could celebrate the second birthday of our granddaughte with the song of the staff. Expensive
The Hotel is very nice and the breakfast was good as well. Verry nice location in the laguna. the hotel isn´t 800 meters from mestre train station. it´s a 5 minutes bus ride fron the station - a couple of kilometers. but it was easy to find even without a taxi.
The only nice thing about the hotel was the aspect over a canal. This was the most over-priced and unsatisfactory hotel experience I have had in Europe, and I don't think this was a "Venice" pricing issue. This hotel has 2 different buildings, an up-market 4 star hotel and a budget 3 star hotel. Despite paying for the 4 star hotel we were forced to stay in the 3 star hotel in a noisy room next to a lift - the reception staff rudely would not change the room. The breakfast was not up to scratch for a 4 star hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as the risk of being downgraded and not refunded or made good in any way is too high !
external facade of the building and marina (for boats), underground car park air-condition problems, room not clean, hotel looks as new but is very used, very dirty windows, very big noice wehn the doors for room must be open (access card mechanism)
The hotel is great. Lovely resturants and great food. All the staff were very helpfull. Location is good too.
I enjoyed the cleanliness of the rooms, the decor, and the view of the riverfront. The room gave me every indication to believe the place was high end. The place seemed dead. All the lights in the hallways were off, the water in the shower fluctuated temperatures when used (like it hasn't been used for an extended period of time), I only bumped into one other guest in my building during my 1 day stay, and I could tell from the outside how many rooms were occupied - I'd say around 10% at best. This place was huge! Prior to arrival, I didn't think the size of the hotel would be a problem, but once I got there, I found it very annoying. The restaurant was in another building, and we had to go outside and around the waterfront to reach it. Reading the other reviews, I can confirm it's true - the service is mediocre at best. The staff provide seem to have no sense of urgency to help. Our dinner took very long they were unaccommodating. When I asked if I could add chicken to my pasta (which was not on the menu, but chicken and pasta as separate items were), they acted as if I had just walked into the catholic church and pissed on the baby Jesus himself. The service was slow. Upon checkout, I was told by the desk attendant the person with the authority to complete the task was unavailable and I had to wait 10 minutes. This place feels very understaffed. Given the small size of the staff, the seemingly nonexistent guests, the dim lighting and the infrequently used water pipes, I'd venture to guess NH is loosing some serious money on this investment. Granted, I did visit in May, which is probably a slower season.
the ONLY thing good about this hotel is that it is close to the airport and that is was somewhat reasonable. this hotel/convention center has an extremely odd layout.....it is not customer friendly. We checked into the wrong side of the building and then had to drag all our luggage without any assistance to another building where we did not even know where the entrance was. The staff seemed very disinterested in helping us. We seemed a "bother" to them. The hotel desk said that breakfast was served until 11 am and got there at 10:40 and were yelled at as we entered the dining hall by the staff that breakfast was over at 10:30 and there was no other options. The hotel has the appearance of a new and modern facility but is totally soul-less with the rooms appearing to have been decorated with no comfort thought!
very little they had no record of my reservation; given a room, it had no air conditioning till the morning of our grateful departure;
We stayed at Building "B" as cheaper side for 2 nights. They don't have enough equipment and service at their room in spite of 4 stars. Especially, I don't recommend family with little baby need to have milk this hotel. Because there were nothing to have hot water and they did't bring it to us. And we have to move to venezia just by land, not sea.
Breakfast was not bad, free parking near hotel No room service, wi fi for 10 euro per day, windows are dirty, it is to poor room for 4* hotel, first night we had few towels and other bathroom accessories (for one person in two bad room), hotel looks like a shopping center where hotel rooms are made instead of store,
The room was very clean and very big, the breakfast was excellent. We had a great time.
Breakfest was very good, good shower.
