In 1925, the 19-story Mayo Hotel was the tallest building in Oklahoma, attracting thousands of celebrities, political figures, and titans of the oil industry. In 1981, the building fell into disrepair, and in 2009, a $42 million renovation returned the old hotel into its former glory. It was hailed as one of the most remarkable transformations of a historic gem.

Located in the heart Tulsa, the hotel is within walking distance of the Cox Business Center, BOK Center and several restaurants, bars, and shops. Oklahoma State University and Tulsa International Airport are also a short distance away. The beautifully styled Mayo features 102 luxurious hotel rooms and suites that are well-suited for business and social travelers. Pros (+) The location was great for what we needed. The girl at the front desk was great. Great view from the roof.
Cons (-) The window ledges were filthy. The windows did not open. There was an air vent out in the hall blowing horrible smelling air right on the room door so we got a face full every time we entered or left the room.
