Hotel was double booked. Don't go there. Not a word English. In a grim neighbourhood.
Very unprofessional, owner very rude
Nothing to mention. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience ever with booking.com. I hope it will be the last.
Nothing at all. It was an awful experience and some of the facilities announced in the advertisement were not available. Room was extremely dirty as well. Moreover, the air conditioning and WiFi announced were not available; the door of the room stayed unlocked during the whole stay. Finally, the plastic doors of the shower were broken and unusable. If needed, we have pictures which could illustrate all of the above.
The location was ideal, within a few yards of the railway station.
I'd have been happier if the TV and air conditioning worked and the shower didn't fall apart around me. After a while, I started to enjoy the cabaret, largely provided by the South-East Asian proprietor shouting at the guests and her assistant; a hybrid of Mrs Overall and Igor from Young Frankenstein. All in all, the whole experience was like having a walk-on part in a Mel Brooks film. I'd thoroughly recommend the place to anyone with a quirky sense of humour.
The hotel was fairly clean, though the facilities were old and required to be refurbished. Freshly made coffee in the morning at breakfast. Wifi was quite good. The receptionist was friendly.
The hotel is really old and requires a lot of maintenance. The bathroom was in bad shape. The shower doors were broken. The sink was missing the plunger. There was mold on the ceiling. The air conditioning was missing. This made it quite uncomfortable on some nights, especially since this is the summer. The room door lock was not in the best condition and we found the room door left open on one occasion when we got back to the hotel. There was a second lady working at the hotel. She was rather rude to the people staying at the hotel. There were frequent arguments and yelling with the guests during breakfast. There was also an incident on one of the days where a guest was very annoyed and had to call the police. This made the whole experience at the breakfast table rather uncomfortable.
