10.0 Excellent
Pros: Check-in/out was really easy and the staff was super friendly! The cabin was very nice, impeccably clean and very well conserved (it looked brand new!). The kitchen was very well equipped and we cooked some meals there. There was a big table and 6 chairs, perfected fitted for our group. It had a dishwasher, which was very nice! The living room was spacious and cozy, with a fireplace. The bathroom had heated floor, which was plus :) Our cabin had one room with a double bed and another room with 2 bunk beds. We rented bed linens and towels for our stay and this was a super easy process. They were able to provide a baby cot for your younger son, which was of great help. The views from the cabin were amazing, to the lake Lemonsjo and the woods! The area was very quiet and peaceful. Our hostess really wanted us to have good time during our stay, so she gave us many tips to explore the surroundings! There is a hiking trail that starts very close to the cabin that leads to a peak called "Trollhoe" (1370mt), with excellent views. The location is great as we are very close to 4 nationals parks: Jotunheimen, Breheimen, Reinheimen, and Rondane National Parks. So it's the perfect headquarters to explore this area. We enjoyed our stay very much and we plan to come back!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The cabin was very cozy. The view was amazing. Honestly it was a blast. The location was very convenient. It was close to several hiking trails with varying views and difficulties.
Cons: Nothing really. Just the curtains were very thin that the rooms never really got dark enough for a good night’s sleep.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location, log cabin, clean and good
Cons: Only 1 mirror in cabin!

5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice big rooms and good breakfast.
Cons: No WiFi password provided upon checking in and when asked, the WiFi seemed to be out of service the entire stay with no apologies from the staff. WiFi apparently only worked at the dining area but even then it was so difficult for them to provide a password.

Pros: Excellent breakfast, spacious rooms, low priced traditional norwegian dinners and general low prices for both food and drinks (including wine and beers). Nice area for walking in the forest.

7.0 Good
Pros: The room was big and clean. Good breakfast even though that starts quite late (8 am).
Cons: Just a few minor things - The common kitchen is a bit claustrophobic (no windows and a bit small). I felt like the girl at check-in wanted to get rid of us quickly and was not in the mood of answering questions. There was no hair dryer in the room, but it was easily borrowable at the reception.

Pros: Perfect value for the money. Nice owners, who know a lot about their country, therefore they helped with "fine-tuning" of our next day itinerary, which we really appreciated. Shared bathrooms were just few steps away from the cabin and they were nice and clean. Shared kitchen was next door to bathrooms, therefore really close as well.
Cons: There was not much to dislike, we were happy with this accommodation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place! Family owned and operated, very warm and friendly host couple who really went the extra mile for all of their guests. The view is simply to die for, location is great for hiking and outdoor activities. 10/10. Would absolutely visit again!

Pros: The owner was very friendly and attentive. He gave us an advice about the tourist spots in the area. Our bedroom has a window with the nice view of the lake. Shared bathroom was clean. The wifi signal was strong. It was very quiet at night too. The including breakfast was OK.
Cons: Bugs and flies from the garden got inside the bedroom and it's quite annoying.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I’ve never felt such a warm welcoming arriving to a hotel. The owners of the B&B was very helpful, making us some dinner even if we arrived pretty late. They also gave us some great suggestions on what to do and see in the nearby area. I would recommend it to anyone!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love hosts Rikke(麗卡)and Erling(爾林)so much because they’re so friendly, helpful and considerate. We had the napkin broken accidentally. They aren’t angry about it and never asked for additional payment. We are really sorry and grateful it. Definitely the entire cabin is so nice. We got private kitchen and bathroom in it, which is really convenient. What’s more important, it has great value for the price. We highly recommend this cabin and the hosts. They gave us lifelong memories. Thank you! I love you
Cons: Definitely nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Very quiet place with picturesque view on a lake. Quite pleasant family-owners. There were some toys and open air games for play.

Pros: We had a standalone two-bedroom cottage that felt very home-like, so we really enjoyed our stay here. Amenities were good (filter-coffee machines can be found in the shared kitchen, the rest is in the cottage), view to the lake was great. Good price performance.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Pros: Very cozy and clean everything was perfect from start to finish. Great food and service.
Cons: Nada!
6.3 Good
Pros: The place is very close to some of the top hikes in the area which makes it very convenient.
Cons: We were charged a ridiculous amount for dinner, which was ok but nothing amazing. The rooms are very small, bathroom is so small you can barely move. For this price, you should be getting a bit more than just a basic room. Rooms look outdated.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Incredible food and inspired chef
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely lovely place. The stamp of quality is in the details. The room was good, not too spacious but not small either. The bathroom was rather small, but recently renovated. The dinner is optional, but well recommended. Breakfast is included, and very worthwhile. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is great for walks and hikes, but not for much else.
Cons: The hotel shows signs of wear and tear around the edges, but nothing too obvious. The price of dinner was rather high.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice place to be for a couple of nights to venture out into the beautiful countryside. The hotel has it's own charme and the food was very nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast and dinner. Nice location with good hikes nearby
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful place. A most gorgeous setting, very remote and stunning views. The main communal areas are well decorated, very comfortable and the staff are very pleasant. The puddings are a dessert lovers heaven!!! We slept really well and got to our next destination (the Besseggen Ridge) really early the next day which was our plan. You can make yourself a lunch for your days out, from the breakfast items and you get charged for that per person. This was nice as we were doing a very long walk the next day.
Cons: The rooms are small and feel a bit more institutional than the rest of the lodge but they are warm and very comfortable. There is nowhere else to eat in the locality, so book yourself in for dinner. Another review alerted us to this and it was a good tip. That said we didn't know what was for dinner, or how much it cost and it comes out as set menu for the appetiser, starter and main course. There is a huge choice for pudding. If you don't eat certain things (my partner is vegetarian) then being offered reindeer cooked four ways is not an attractive option. When we asked for an alternative he was given a vegetarian plate which was very much welcomed and we thank the hosts for their quick solution. Our conclusion is that being veggie isn't really an option out in the wilds of Norway, so beware before you travel. It would just be nice to know what is for dinner and the cost in advance.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable beds, nice decor, beautiful lounge and dining room, there was even a plush reindeer on our bed! Amazing view from the lounge and the rooms. The dinner was excellent, quite pricey for our pockets, but it was Michelin-starred style and quality. There is a spa open in the afternoon but we couldn't use it because we arrived just before dinner. The staff was always ready to answer our questions and gave us good suggestions for hikes.
Cons: The bathroom was very small, it was a bit difficult to enter in the shower. Our room was beautiful but small.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lots of character to this little hotel, manages to balance the classic atmosphere with modern amenities. Great place for a foodie, the dinners here are gourmet standard and made with fresh, local produce. They have over 60 beers, all local Norwegian microbrews with a variety of styles and flavor profiles. We arrived late on our first night, but they were really nice and still willing to serve us the main for dinner. This seems popular even with the locals, so book the morning of if you want dinner in the evening.

7.7 Good (56 reviews)

6.8 Good
Pros: Helpful staff and good location. Parking right outside cabin. 24hr cafe/restaurant with fuel station. Cabins away from road so no traffic noise. Handy stop on way north.
Cons: Main building/cafe away from cabins so can be a problem if raining, which it was for us, we didn't realise that when booking. Cafe is busy car/truck stop so can be busy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Right next to the E6 main north - south highway in Norway, so very convenient as a stop on the way. You can park right outside the cabin Clean room TV Kitchen with utensils Nice view of the mountains in the valley.
Cons: Poor soundproofing to the cabin next door. A bit old furniture Difficult to pull out drawer under the day-bed with the pillow & duvet
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Right on the main road, E6, in Norway, so a good place to stop if you need to sleep over on your road-travel from north to south. - 24h cafeteria with a wide selection of dishes and large portions - helpful staff - quiet cabins, although located 50 m from the main road - good breakfast (110 NOK extra), but include freshly made eggs and bacon
Cons: -Sofa bed a bit hard
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious cabin. I was staying there on my own but even for a couple it would be absolutely fine. I immediately worked out the layout of the cabins just as I arrived so I did ask for one towards the back of the complex (away from the main road) and managed to get a nice cabin facing the river and mountains. The staff are based in the petrol station and cafe/restaurant area. They are fairly polite and even let me buy a glass of red wine from the restaurant to take back to my room (otherwise it's about £23 a bottle from supermarkets)! Compared to some of my other stays in Norway this cabin was very good value for money I think I got the rate for a single person stay so it might be a bit more for two people.
Cons: I don't like to complain but there were a couple of things despite the value of this place. Firstly and I didn't think it would bother me but the bed area is in the same area as the kitchen. This isn't too bad in itself but the refrigerator made a lot of noise and it keeps triggering on every hour or so, so if you are a light sleeper which I am it did affect my sleep. There is an awkward raised step area going into the bathroom and also from the porch into the main living room. I think this is a really old design and caught me out a few times as I tripped and knocked my foot quite hard!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Easy to access
Cons: Wifi did not work in my room complicating planning for the next days activities.
4.3 Okay
Cons: Poor quality of bedding not very up to date and run down. Nothing for kids and do not waste money paying for Breakfast as it is not worth it no selection stale bread very poor
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The place brought us the 60's vibe, which was fun for us (1 night stay). It is located right next to E6, yet far enough from the road that we did not hear any traffic. The cabin has a kitchen and a good size fridge.
Cons: Kitchen is in the same room with the beds, but not a deal breaker.
5.0 Okay
Pros: parking and garden around the motel cottage
Cons: lack of communication with the hotel reception and office. very poor buffet breakfast [fortunately one may give up the breakfast without paying for it]
5.0 Okay
Pros: This is a nice little motel by a petrol station / restaurant that is open for 24 hours. However the cabins are very nice by a riverside, have lots of space, a kitchen.
Cons: Our cabin had bunk beds, not bad but not overly romantic.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Very good location for all areas of interest, nice river running by, quiet. easy to find.
Cons: It was a cabin for fishing and camping and winter sports, with a small kitchen which we did not need or use, also it was expensive for the facility, because of the area. The breakfast was lacking for the price
6.0 Good
Pros: friendly people.

Pros: Hotel is located in a beautiful village. The hotel is a bit outdated but the rooms are up to date, super clean and very comfortable. The front desk individual was the only person in our entire trip who said "Thanks for staying with us, have a wonderful trip". This small gesture put a BIG smile on our faces. I would also recommend the local restaurant Andre Etasje for dinner. It was fantastic! We wold be back for sure.
Cons: We enjoyed it. I cant think of anything at this time. Keep up the good work.
