room too small for 2 people .
It had a pool Extremely basic for a 4 star and the menu at the restaurant very limited. Not a great breakfast either
None of the staff in hotel spoke any bit of english, so it was hard to communicate
The hotel was generally clean and facilities ok Total confusion by the reception lady regarding the payment and arrangements that others had agreed - lack of understanding. You really need a car for this one as out of the way and taxi prices from hotel expensive.
Friendly staff, clean facilities, fantastic pool Very loud music around the pool during the day....an excess of young children!
The kindness of the hole staff. They were very kind and gentle.Hope that some day they'll come and enjoy the beutifull Malta and the islands and the hospitality of the Maltese Islands.
The staff was very helpful and went out of there way to assist me in leaving at 4:00 am to get to a very early morning flight. Outstanding value for travelers. It's location. From the advertisement on Booking.Com I believed it to be much closer to the ocean than it was....you can't even see it from there unless you are on the roof. Definately not the place to stay if you don't have your own vehicle.
Quite location, clean, nice view, friendly staff, children enjoy in showers facilities.....
The hotel seems to have been renewed recently: an elevator avoids frim having to carry luggage using the stairs. Everything was clean. Breakfast could be more elaborate. Nice view on the seaside from the breakfast room and from the second floor balcony. Some rooms may have a seaside view (mine did not) and you may ask for one with a seaside view but may also be exposed to more traffic noise. Not really.
nice view, clean room, excellent bathroom, good breakfast with fresh pastry. Staff not very enthusiastic. Wifi did not work.
Comfortable, friendly and typical Italian.
Recently built family hotel, good price-quality ratio, quiet, extremely clean, very good starting location for visiting the most important turistic sites in the region of Trapani, free car parking, pretty easy to reach by car. Breakfast: the hotel has positively reacted to previous critics as we had lots of fresh fruit, juices, jogurt, freshly baked cakes/buiscuits and tipical sicilian sweets Probably not suitable if you use public transportation, instead of own car or bike. Hotel restaurant not open yet (but they are going to offer half board soon and other restuarants are within walking distance).
Very nice host and hostess Very good dinner excellent wine Nice and clean room and bathroom Calm and fiendly
The staff were excellent and it was a lovely run family hotel, and they could not do enough for us. On your website it did say that the hotel had a restaurant, however it does not and unfortunately there is not restaurants nearby
Rooms are comfortable and very clean, we received fresh towels daily. The staff/owners of the hotel are customer minded. The hotel is perfectly located for a visit to Enrice and Tranpani (airport) is close as well, but do hire a car when you visit this hotel. The town (Valderice) where the hotel is located is very small with not much to offer.
Price Double bed, shower , the whole room did not look well. I was expecting more as this is 3 stars hotel, the person at the reception did not speak english well
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff at the reception was very cold and unfriendly. The place loked like a painting of Escher... it has a ugly modern design but is located in a little town 10 minutes from trapani...totally wrong place for such an eco-monster building.
It is mountain palce. Room looks dark and not wellcom, brekfast was teribal, just curison and some jogurt.
Ericevalle is the perfect hotel. The hotel's room was large and very clean. We had a new towels for every day. The staff was nice. The hotel didn't offer any evening entertainment.
The staff, and the hotel atmosphere. There was no heat and we were cold.
Very clean and comfortable. Practical for Trapani airport, being only 20 minutes away (better than staying in Trapani town centre in my opinion). Proximity to Erice - a must see in Siciy. Free car park, although parking is a bit limited. Car park a bit tight. The town where the hotel is situated is nothing interestion. Eating out in the town was necessary because we couldn't eat in the restaurant - there is very little in the town centre that we could find except a couple of pizzerias (the pizzas in the place we went to were very good).
Staff were very helpful and very good breakfast. Very clean
The best is the location: the garden, pool and view from the pool : the mountain clif north-east. The board-walk into the sea is also great.Breakfast buffet is great. We chose not to eat at the inner-courtyard as you have no view at all ; this beats my prupose of staying in this part of Sicily. Finding local resto's is not easy; Trapani is a long dark stretch away. the 2nd and last morning i found out why we only had cold showers: The 'boiler tank in the bathroom was still switched off ;-0
Lovely setting, peaceful surroundings, very professional service Apartment a bit dark, double bed could be bigger
The pool area is lovely, but I was dissapointed to find the bar unmanned. We were booked into a "superior" room - without a balcony. I wonder what makes it "superior" ? With such a great location I feel that all rooms should have a view of the scenary.
We liked the view from our delux room. The room was clean and the swimming pool lovely. The staff at the swimming pool very friendly, barman and waitresses very polite. Unfortunately, I have to say that reception was unpleasant and sometimes not very helpful. If you do not speak Italian you gonna find difficult to rent anything. I was very disappointed. Dinners were lovely but in September, they were only inside the restaurant (because it's too cold- the reception said).
The pool Toilet facilities at the pool left a lot to be desired. Room service menu and items in the mini bar were extremely expensive; room service menue was not available 24hrs a day, despite being advertised as such. The decor in the apartments quite outdated, and the shower overflowed on more than one occasion. Late check-out cost €60, although it was clear the room was not booked that evening.
It was extremely pleasant and relaxing.
Good restaurant but too expensive. Good staff with decent English. We didnt have a rental car, and it cost us minimum of 30euros to go anywhere from this hotel in a taxi.Erice is 7kms away but we had to pay 40euros to get there! Tennis courts not available. The seafront (not on the hotel's premesis)around the back of the hotel is dirty/littered, could be lovely. Nothing in the town of interest- a dull place to be after 24 hours!
well located on shore of fishing village. internet fell-out more than often
The hotel is located in a wondeful site, but the rooms are not in concordance. .The installations need an update. Breakfast in the terrace is very pleasant Lot of rooms are close to the kitchen installations and therefoe the noise of the kitchen is clearly listened into the rooms at night and very early in the morning
Room is very clean and comfy. Staff are very helpful and warm. Very close to Trapani airport.
The place is nice, convenient location close to the airport and actually a really good base for exploring Sicily, if you have a car. The place is especially really convenient and nice if you have early or late arrivals. They have a tennis court and some other facilities on ground that looked nice, but during our short stay we did not have much chance to explore the place. Staff is very friendly and helpful, knows a lot about the environs and assists with that little extra that makes it a nice stay. Air conditioning is very effective, as it turns out. This is probably very good if you travel to Sicily during the heat of the summer. Nice tables on every cabin porch to sit and relax etc The place is fair enough, walls are very thin, but small "cabins" with pairs of two "rooms" in each, so if you are a family of four or travelling together in a group, this is perhaps not so much of a problem. There is some distance between the cabins so it was not noisy, but from the one next door room, don't expect to keep any secrets :) Don't expect a luxurious stay, but clean and basic rooms which I'd say gives good value for money. Not convenient if you do not have a car, is my guess. Perhaps however could be a good stop if you have a bike - not sure whether they had bikes on premises, but in that case, much of the nearby area could be explored even without a car.
The owner was very helpful and the actual B and B was in beautifull surroundings but you would need a car if you were planning on staying ther e more than one night. The kitchen where we ate was really authentic farmhouse style and the owner kindly went for food for us that evening. The bedrooms were spacious and atmospheric. It was very far from anywhere and we had no car
location, customer care. everything was good, just maybe breakfast could be better.
convenient location close to Trapani airport as we arrived on late flight, although difficult to find in the dark, Owner drove out to meet us in the end. It was a basic budget room , felt like being in a mobile home. Perfectly clean , and friendly staff
Hotel very well located to explore nw sicily. Rooms clean++ facilities excellent! Staff had limited english. Details of local highlights only provided in italian. Would have appreciated someone to discuss local area with.
Unique propoerty with historical significance in the area. A little off the beaten path but close enough to eeverything to remain feeling 'connected' to the area. To get the most out of this property a car is a must. Pool lanes were unnecessary and spoilt the look of the pool area.
This hotel is immaculately clean. Has superb views and sits on a beautiful site surrounded by a lovely garden. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are good size and very clean. The atmosphere is tranquil and restful. The pool area is set out with private little spaces not one big open plan area like most pools in hotels. Its an idylic location for people who like peace and quiet
swimming ; restaurant ; views disappointing breakfast options & quality of fruit
Beautiful view of the area
the staff were very friendly we ate there one night and the food was excellent even though we strayed off the normal menu and asked for different dishes.
Good location, very friendly staff, open for check inn all 24 hours, resonable price Breakfast could be better
The comfortable and big room and the excellent diner
staff were very helpful and hotel was just down the road from airport so easy to get to very early flight meal in eve wasn't terribly good but glad it was available and waitress was very friendly and pleasant easy to use as an easy access to airport 3.5 km for early flight not much available in area nice garden and in ground floor villa complex so easy exit with bag early in morning
Dinner in the restaurant.
very near Trapani airport after night arrival. staff nice, meal in hotel served late. good parking.
Convenient Very badly organised. Especially the restaurant
The food in the restaurant is excellent! Located very close to the airport. -
We wanted to check out early, but there was no staff present up to 7.30 in the morning.
We chose it for it's very close location to Trapani airport. We would not have wanted to stay there for any other reason but we did have a very good meal in their restaurant, which seemed to be the only place in town. We just stayed the one night as we had a very early start. I would only recommend the hotel for the above reason.
The location of Villa Speranza was very convenient. The fact that it had a restaurant where we both could have an evening meal was good and the food and surroundings were excellent. The service was excellent. The staff at both the hotel and restaurant could not have been more friendly towards us. the design and decor of both the hotel and restaurant were good. The bedrooms were spacious. There was a little noise in the evening from young children playing in the courtyard, but once the windows were closed and the air conditioning turned on there was little noise. As our stay was on a Saturday night and the restaurant was a family restaurant and was obviously very popular with the locals in this little town then some noise could be expected. There was no traffic noise. The air conditioning was thankfully silent. I would not expect this problem on a weekday evening. Asolution to this problem would be to install double glazing to the windows.
