Lovely facility, cheerful staff, sizeable rooms with well equipped kitchens, restaurants within walking distance Be sure to call well in advance same day if you're arriving after 10PM, or you won't get a key to your room. Continental breakfast was pretty minimal and not very health conscious. Have to pay additional fees for beachside furniture.
Returned to the BFB hotel a second year with my mom who loved its small, quaint, friendly feeling and its magnificent views of the beach. Oceanside rooms are perfect for two and provide an opportunity to relax and enjoy the views. Staff are very accommodating and down to earth. Rooms are clean and designed to add to the "life by the sea" experience. Our first year there was quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately there year there were some rude vacationers that put a damper on our trip. Tables by the beach encourage people to sit and smoke. Very sad that this year we had to close the door to our room many times due to people smoking cigarettes, weed, and drinking late into the night. Make that area non-smoking and reinforce it. Place a smoking area elsewhere. Someone dumped a cup of snuff onto my rental car. Would recommend placing some sort of awning over that area to protect peoples cars. When the hotel is full there can be nowhere else to park but on the gulf side of the hotel.
Very friendly staff. Clean facilities The beach was not walking distance
Great new hotel, great sunsets Parking
It's a nice hotel in a great location. Great pool! Lovely lobby and cafe area. The room was a great room but the ac kept resetting to a default temp and the room stayed hot. Also the sheets are scratchy. I hate scratchy sheet.
Location location location! Great food and exceptional beach bar / restaurant. Old hotel. Needs more updates
The people at the service desk were excellent. The top floor with the spectacular views were wonderful. The outside bar was romantically set up with live music on the beach was great. Every room had a balcony and all felt like you were at an exclusive resort. Very clean. We arrived at 11 AM and they welcomed us and told us which rooms were available. Alan
Very dated. Staff is very professional and friendly! (They are doing that right) Property just needs updating overall. Rooms not quiet. Can hear neighbors like they are in your room. Parking is decent, go in the underground garage and take elevator right up to your room.
Beach front. Staff was nice. Tile floors in the bedroom and bathroom which is great for cleanup but also makes it easy for bare feet to pick up all the sand and debris that you bring in from outside. Beautiful view from Spinner and Rooftop restaurants which also light up in colors at night. My kids loved the breakfast buffet $16 A/$8 C. Good for the value if you're hungry and like eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, grits, oatmeal and cereal in large quantities. Lots of palm trees situated around the back of the hotel partially shading the pool deck during the day and creates a nice setup for weddings. Water at the beach was turquoise and pretty but not clear. Calm waters in the mornings, a little choppy in the evenings. No big waves so forgo the boogie boards unless you just want it as a floating device. Parking was a hit or miss. Nice layout outside for parking and traffic flow but underneath the garage was a nightmare, not ideal for big cars. Good location for walking to other restaurants, stores and entertainments. Swimming suit cover up required while inside the hotel. Bathroom was tiny. Nice for small people but tight for big people. Hallway carpet is dated and smelled. Elevator is tiny and right in the path going from the front of the resort to the back entrance to the beach. Lots of traffic jams during peak hours. Swimming pool is small. It's supposed to be heated but doesn't always feel so. No hot tub. Good to have restaurants on sight but food was expensive. Service at Bongos was ok. Super busy so the wait is long. Bring your own umbrella to the beach or you can rent a cabana $25/umbrella $35.
The best price for beach front. Room was dirty, stain on sheets, hair on bathroom floor and in shower. Breakfast food not the good for the price but iHop is across the street.
I love the restaurant that they have on the roof top. I also love the views. N/A
The staff was so nice and friendly. The food was delicious. Everything was right there. Restuarants, bars, entertainment and beach. What else do you need Nothing
Room was nice. Bar under window open till 300am .loud music. 600am maintenence people start loud machinery. Crazy. No sleep.
Housekeeping was not good. Left dirty dishes in the room, didn't replace coffee or coffee cups.
The Beach and easy access. Bongos is the best and wait staff at Bongos is outstanding!!! Food is wonderful! Spinners has always been a favorite of my family's, all visiting relatives have always taken trips up there for the view. All employees were friendly from top to bottom, very professional, fun and energetic. The breakfast buffet went up in price and should at least include orange juice which was 3.50 for a glass. I assumed a beverage such as juice would have been included. The elevators are slow and more computers or a private room with computers would be nice, like the Serata has, which requires a room key for access and has 4 computers, a business center. The gym is low rate and some machines are off balance on the floor. Seems unused and unkept.
The Lounge and Spinners had excellent food and amazing views. Good location and it's right on the beach. Sheets were not soft, walls were thin, and elevator was slow.
Spinning restaurant, beach front location ! The hallways were not cleaned. They were dirty. The decor of the hotel is outdated.
Great location with lots of activities on the beach. Family/kid friendly. Great staff. Resort restaurants were convenient and good food. Great value for the price. Free parking and free beach cabana for guests was nice also. Would definitely stay again. Room was small
The location on the beach was great! Staff were not attentive to guests even though occupancy was low.
The exercize facility Complimentary Coffee in am in immediate lobby would be nice
Beachfront location, lots of activities, Loud court yard noise
Didn't like that you got your parking pass from the Time Share people, if I wish to have a time share, i will purchase a time share. I'm on vacation and do not need a sales pitch!
Cleanliness, comfort. Good attention and service. It does not have cable tv. The parking spaces are awfully narrow, that leads to scratches on vehicles.
Nothing Price was why too much. Building was why too old .no fan in bath room. T.V. do not work when we got there.air conditionor was old fashion. When it was on to cold. When it turned off to hot very hard to sleep.
The weather was fantastic. The meeting facilities were nice and the food served at the meetings was good.
The beach was nice and had a lot of beach chairs. Room seemed a little worn out.
Easy to get around
Was the Best on the whole beach family oriented. The staff was perfect. Fantastic home away from home. Thank you all. There wasn't anything one could have complained about.
Ideal for families. So much to do and such a beautiful location. Something for everyone. Food was pricey, but to be expected.
Beach location. Music at two different Bar/Restaurants. Breakfast at the Rum Runners Bar Area was good and right where the beach begins with a nice view of the gulf. Housekeeping did a good job making sure we didn't run out of amenities, coffee or towels. A little outdated but very clean. Ran out of toilet paper once since there wasn't an extra replaced under the sink that we used but there were tissues (housekeeping didn't notice right away.) There was a dehumidifier in the room that we had to empty ourselves 3 times since it would stop working once it was full. We thought housekeeping would take care of it but when they didn't, we did it ourselves rather than calling for someone to come each time. We had an evening flight and asked for an extended checkout. We were told that our room type was completely booked. They told us we could only have till noon when we wanted till 2 or 3 pm. We were there for 8 days and since check in wasn't until 4 pm we didn't think it was too much to ask. Then we found out we could pay extra to stay a few hours more which we did. Just felt that we were there for a long enough stay that it should have been a courtesy. Forgot to mention the night we came back to the room during a tropical storm we couldn't get into our room because the latch somehow latched when housekeeping closed the door leaving us in pouring rain and 50 mile an hour winds trying to get in at 8:30 at night. . We had to wait in a stairwell since the doors are open to the outside to try to call the front desk since the weather was too bad and it was too far for us to walk to the front desk. The phone number on the room key is for reservations. It took 3 calls and 1/2 hour to connect to an operator for the hotel. Lucky for us security came by in the stairwell at that point and went to get a special tool to open our room. I recommend keeping the front desk direct phone number on your phone for emergencies.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, good location on St. Pete Beach Poor service at breakfast restaurant with squirrels under outer table. Worn out facilities.
my room was very nice
The resort was very nice and was "on the beach"! Staff was very informative and helpful. Bernard helped us to our room and was very pleasant and gave us the information about the pools and the several restaurants on sight. The beds were not very comfortable. There were alot of children and if you are looking for an adult resort; this is not your place. Parking was sometimes difficult to find.
The beach The fact I got in my room an hour after they said I could. I had to call to get my room cleaned after 4 days of no room service
love the location and the pools are great. Harry's is delish. Some of the wait staff were not that great. The male waiter at Harry's took forever and would rarely check on you.
Very friendly staff, great location on the beach, good food and food reasonably priced, full-sized fridge Bedroom faces outdoor corridor so it is loud (doors closing, guests walking by), room was somewhat outdated
View and location to beach, several pools / beach bars / restaurants on site A little busier than expected with families this time of year, but no big deal
Love all staff, very nice
Sirata has everything you need in one resort. It has a close proximity to the beach more than one pool in more than one jacuzzi. it has a clean room nice gym to work out in including free weights in the SIRATA also has A good laundry room. I recommend this ace to friends and I plan on returning in the future.
Beach front, lots of stuff going on in general area, convenient etc. There were some fees that brought the nightly price from what I thought was a real bargain, right up to lots of other places in the area that I usually stay. I'm sure the fees were disclosed somewhere when I booked the room online but it raised the room price quite a bit compared to the $93 per night (plus fees) I thought I was paying. It seemed a tad sneaky to me and I wouldn't stay here again because of this.
Rooms and bathrooms were small. No fan in bathroom-hot. Bartenders were rude.
The view was spectacular. It was fun having the use of free bicycles, ocean kayaks and paddle boards. The food options were great. They didn't clean our room everyday. One day all they did was make the beds. No trash was taken out and they didn't vacuum the floor. With two toddlers in diapers the trash needed to be emptied every day and the floor vacuumed.
We booked our room and we're charged but when we arrived there were no rooms available and I still have not received my refund...which did put us on a bind that was 500 dollars that we didn't have for the rest of our trip...very sissappoints
Beach front. lots of restaurants nearby, large beach and good walking trail. good location but the facilities are old but good. The front desk was very subtle, beware of stingrays and surprise charges. Paid $134.40 plus $15 and got the worst room in the resort, dark, dingy room with no view whatsoever, they had mentioned that it had a pool view, not thru the window but thru the door peephole. Walls on both sides plus small windows. The facilities were good, the room was very clean but found couple of live roaches. The rooms are noisy. On checkout they charged me a resort fee of $15 plus tax for parking and amenities, which they never mentioned at booking, check-in or in the fine print. They say complimentary parking but they get us somehow or the other. I had 4 days off and was so glad that I stayed only one day, they are several great places nearby. I saved some money there. The beach was great and had lot of fun. The weather was excellent. The food at the restaurant was ok, I had to get the bill corrected three time – watch out like a hawk. Money greedy people. Not worth the money.
We have stayed at Bilmar many times and always have a great visit. The rooms are spotless, modern and very comfortable. Breakfast at Bazzie's Beach Cafe are excellent. Walk from your room to the immense Treasure Island beach, or just a few minutes' drive to a dozen other T.I. attractions. They should install pneumatic wheels on the hotel laundry and housekeeping trolleys -- they make an incredible amount of noise going past your room on the brick corridors, and always seem to be busiest when we are trying to nap!
Cheerful rom with great views A little noisy
The Bilmar is very clean and right on the beach. The room looked over the water. It was chilly outside the nights I was there and enjoyed sitting by a fire pit that they had. Had dinner at Sloppy Joes. Good food at a good price. Nothing
clean, and very hospitable staff very nice shampoo and conditioner and soap! Location on beach is very convienent the cost - one night 197.00 way too expensive
We booked a room with a balcony and the view of the ocean was great. The room was very clean, and to our surprise had a pretty nice kitchenette. The beach was not crowded at all, which was very nice. The resort fee included daily free kayak or paddle board rental, which we took advantage of everyday with no wait. It also included free beach chairs, but we brought our own so we could have saved on room in the car had we known beforehand. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend The Bilmar to anyone looking to enjoying Treasure Island. The only negative thing about our stay was that our room was not ready for us to check in until about 4:40, and check in was at 4:00. Not a big deal since we were able to hang out by the pool while we waited.
Easy walk to variety of restaurants and shops. Very short drive to other destinations.
Postcard Inn was what we were looking for in a quick getaway over the holidays. We had a king size garden view room. We were on the top 2nd level, no elevator. The main hotel entry was nicely decorated, lots of hangout places, a big table with games (my daughter loved the 3D tic TAC toe). There was also a photo booth. The Boathouse was a restaurant attached to the lobby...no room service. The garden had lots of lounging places too. There was an outdoor pool table and ping pong. At night the garden was lit with lanterns, and there was a fire pit. There is a snack shack next to the beach bar which is on St. Pete's beach. The pool supposed was heated and looked awesome, but was closed. The pool was a major reason for choosing this hotel. I wanted a heated pool as we were traveling in December. When I confirmed over the phone before booking the pool was heated; the receptionist said the pool would be closed for the first dayof our stay...however, we could use the pool at the next door hotel. The PostCard Inn pool was being filled when we arrived, so I looked forward to hanging out there and happily used the heated pool next door at "BeachComber". Unfortunately, during our entire stay of 4 days, the pool never opened. This was extremely dissapointing. On the third day heading over to BeachComber's pool, I was hassled by their maids for using their pool, they called their supervisor to confirm that we did not have access to their pool, but let us go swimming there anyway. The low was 40F one night we were there. So in anticipation, I turned up the thermostat to 75F that nice. I am fairly confident the heat wasn't working...because it was very cold. The next night was again cold, and I cranked up the thermostat to its maximum...88F and still was cold. The rooms had high ceilings, were cutely decorated but the bathrooms were tiny. Also, there were wooden blinds that could close, but no curtains to be pulled over...just decorative curtains. There was a TV and padded wooden chair. Between the room/bathroom there was a closet/dressing room...it was very tiny, but had hangers on one side and shelving on the other. The Boathouse restaurant was overpriced and wasn't really very good for dinner. We had a hamburger and shrimp tacos. Breakfast was nice though - biscuits and gravy and an omelette.
Amazing location, cool bar, laid back environment
it was a beautiful spot and the staff was nice I felt like I was staying in a college dorm in the middle of a frat party
It was a rip off to have an additional charge of $22.60 per day for no justifiable reason? We received no special service, nor did the resort offer any exceptional amenities? The overall experience was mediocre and I would not recommend it to my friends or family.
Affordable, location on the beach, and staff were all great.
Loved the lobby full of games , books and yummy coffee
Liked the beachy/surfer "feel" of the location. I travelled in January and the weather wasn't great (windy and cold) plus there is some construction going on, mostly in the main lobby I believe. This really didn't impact my trip, as I was there for a friends wedding taking place literally just down the road. For the money and location, great value. I'd love to come back here and enjoy the pool/beach during the summer! Loud people next door and above my room - or perhaps the walls are just a little thin? The room could use some new paint and a few non-essential updates.
Love the decor and amenities. Overall...a great stay.
We found our stay to be very relaxing, clean. Staff was great as well as amenities! All kinds of activities onsite. Plus.. It's on the beach and close to local attractions and thanks to their 'in-room' book, we went deepsea fishing and dolphin watching. Loved the decor and atmosphere! PCI needs more ice machines, that's it!
I was really looking forward to this weekend, in fact I proposed to my girlfriend. My room's AC didn't work the entire stay. Then instead of compensating me they charged me a resort fee. I got charged extra for staying in an uncomfortable room.
Very nice place to stay , probably avoid holiday weekends , if you are traveling with families , staff very friendly , always security staff present , outside pool area seemed to be very clean and maintained. Staircase and walls are In need of fresh coat of paint , a little grungy .. Floors in the room never cleaned , sand beneath our feet.. Housekeeping needs to be addressed , location very nice . The rooms seemed a bit warm , Ac is centrally controlled , had to be moved to another room, definitely adjusted the Ac at night as it seemed to be very uncomfortable for sleeping .. Prob hotel watching costs , instead of guest satisfaction .. Keep your eye on additional fees and taxes when booking rooms ..
location many issues with reservations using booking.com. staff was rude about the extra day we needed. will not return
Nothing They seemed unorganized and unprofessional. It took me calling them for them to tell me the hotel was overbooked.
was good from the desk pressure to us to leave before time hour, bathroom bath shower i saw dirty with fungus in the tile,
Very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were installing new carpet and our room already had it. Appreciated being able to have our pet there and the fridge and micro. Beds were comfy and we had more than adequate room to move around.
Great value, excellent location. Walk to everything you want and need.
Right across streeet from beach with free self parking and breakfast. Not much more you could ask for.
Large room, comfortable beds easy access and central location across from the beach and ammenities. Loud AC unit! A minor nuisance.
Breakfast was minimal
Free parking, free wifi, kitchenette Very long walk to water from public parking area. Hotel did not provide beach chairs. View was not very good, even from rooftop patio. Room was filthy. Not much to do in the immediate area. We actually drove to Johns Pass Madeira Beach to use the beach there for 2 days and rented chairs for $15 a day and that's what made the trip worth it.
Right across the street from beautiful beach, heated pool/ whirlpool and plenty of great restaurants close by!! Only complaint is not enough days to enjoy the area before heading back to work.
Easy access to beach Broken lamp Dead battery in TV remote
Love the resort. Great location the food is good - eating local or on property is easy. Love the live music and great sunsets! Roach in room and the WiFi was not staying strong while in the room. However, the staff was quick to help. I received a call back and a knock on door to check to see if all was ok. But still had problems.
I liked that it seemed like the center of activity on the beach. Jimmy B's was right there on the beach, grab a dri K listen to the ocean or the band. The courtyard was nice to have chairs outside your room to sit and relax. Parking was tight and often almost full.
Beachfront and beach access. 3 great beachfront too bars. Rooms were disgusting. Bathroom was awful.
The room and staff were wonderful. Gary the entertainer at Jimmy Bs was awesome. The food was wonderful. The grounds were beautiful. Richard at the front desk was more than hospitable. Everything was just perfect
Corner room close to loud bar through priceline - no water views
location staff dirty bed linens loud Spring Break guys next door bathroom
The room was clean and the big closet was very nice. The pools were really nice. Staff was friendly. The 1" step going into the bathroom, we stubbed our toes a couple times. There isn't a complimentary breakfast.
We came with a few other families with their grown children. Love the pools with food and drink service and the entertainment is fantastic at Jimmy B's! Check in was after 4pm but they gave us certificateso to use at Jimmy B's which made it well worth the inconvenience.
Near beach. Very Noisy. Dirty carpet.
Very large room with kitchen and large closet Bugs, no view, loud beach bar, aggressive parking attendant, mediocre front desk, commercial type toilet, old shower fixtures, overall uncleanliness
Perfect place for a getaway. On the beach. Live music at Jimmie B's. Heated pools. Great wait staff.
Rooms were clean, hotel lobby, bar, and pool area always clean. Hotel staff were always friendly, courteous and helpful. Ice machine on our floor was broken for the length of our stay
Being right on the beach was awesome! I had three grandchildren all under the age of 11 and I didn't want to have to cross the street to get to the beach. The room was comfortable and the kids loved it. They closed the pool at 10 in the morning and the kids had to get out which disappointed them greatly. They were cleaning the pool which I thought was an odd time to do that.
We loved our stay! Wish we could have stayed longer! Would definitely recommend. Tub didn't drain well. But everything else was excellent!!
Beachfront The staff was rude and not accommodating, I had booked two night but had 2 reservations (1 night stay per reservation) instead of combining the two reservations I had to check out and then check back in. The shower was awful, almost no water pressure and the valves didn't close all the way so a steady stream would leak throughout the day. Half of the power outlets worked, which is frustrating when you are trying to get ready in the bathroom and can't blow dry your hair. The only nice thing about this place was the beach access, but it's right next to the public beach access and I'd rather stay elsewhere and walk to the public beach than stay here again.
The staff were amazing. That's the only positive. Overall, the amount of money I spent for a 2 night stay had me feeling ripped off. The place is tired & dated. Not worth it.
The view was absolutely amazing! You really are ON the beach and the pool/restaurant/bar/live music/ rooms were all 10 out of 10's! Not to mention the water sports kiosk right out back where water activities are is your fingertips! We will continue to come back to this resort time and time again... it's hard to beat how beatuiful, relaxing and amazing one place can be. Not to mention on-shore you're conveniently located near even more restaurants, grocery stores and attractions. Best Spot in Florida I've ever stayed. The only negative is that our check in was scheduled for 11:00am - and when we arrived to check in they told us they wouldn't be checking anyone in until 1:00pm.. Although it was a bit disappointing, the staff was gracious enough to let us park, help us put our bags in the back - and encouraged us to hit the beach/pool/ and bar right outside until we could check into our room! What's not to love about that?!?
It seemed like a lovely place; nice room, nice pool, beautiful beach view. We were near a roomful of partying college or high school kids; we ended up flushing the $200 we paid for our room and moving to another hotel so we could sleep.
Beach location and quality are super!!!! Beach
Awesome location and everything you need if you are looking for affordable accommodation The wifi didn't really work so well.
I loved everything!!! You walk out of the hotel and you're on the beach! The beach bar (Flipper's) had some great drinks, and featured live music too! The kitchen also had an amazing menu (we ordered coconut shrimp, chicken quesadillas, and fish tacos-all delicious)!!! The rooms are spacious, with a small fridge, microwave, and cabinet storage. Some rooms have a balcony so you can step out and smell the gulf breeze! And the beds are super comfortable, for a good night's rest! And then there's the staff... Always willing to give suggestions, of things to do, provide maps or call car services to get you there... And generally showing that they are interested and cared! Want to save a little money, there's a full grocery store across the street, liquor store too (and another a half mile down the street)! We didn't even need a car rental, having taken a $30 Uber from the Tampa airport! Want to splurge a little? There's lots of great bars and drink specials up and down the beach... Everything a short beach (or sidewalk) walk away! Level 11 is a great stop to watch the sunset, with delicious appetizers, good service and a view that no one else on the beach offers! This stay was priced so economically, that we were hesitant upon arrival, but on departure, determined that we'd definitely be back! This is a highly recommend place to stay!!! You can enjoy a lot of the benefits of other hotels in the area bars, restaurants, music, etc., But staying here saves a good deal of money making it a most- economical choice!!! The only downfall, and it's a very minor one, was the water pressure in the room could have been a bit stronger! That's it!
Friendly staff, clean, great view on the beach, amazing sunsets, good food and beach bar. Convenient to other beachfront restaurants/bars also. We always look forward to coming here! The barstools at Flippers are pretty wobbly and uncomfortable and we'd be more prone to hang out longer if there were live music more often...but the view is unbeatable and Amanda makes great Miami Vices and Bloody Marys!
Not quite enough parking.
We liked having a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms as well as easy beach access just across the street. Also walked to restaurants on John's Pass about 5 min. New bed linens need to be supplied, the ones that it had are really old. Although everything was very clean.
Ended up staying at their new Bella Vista location, which would have been more expensive to reserve alone, so we got some additional value. Both rooms seemed excellent despite this major setback. Overall ended on a positive note and enjoyed the stay. Staff decided it was a great idea to initially give us a one bedroom room despite literally having on receipt a reservation for a two-bedroom room. They suggested to either bear a one-person room until tommorrow, when a double would open up, or go to their Bella Vista condos. Had to relocate to a different location further away from the beach, no pool. Housekeeping was not informed of our occupation and came in mistakenly on the first day we stayed.
The hotel was great for the price! Friendly staff, clean, close to beach and restaurants, plenty of parking, 2 pools, 1 hot tub, elevators, tennis courts, shuffle board, etc. Hotel provided a crib for our 8 month old but we ended up bringing our own pack and play. Able to rent out cabanas on beach daily for $25, which provided a nice shaded area for the baby. The hotel was clean but it was kind of dated. Smoking was allowed by the pool areas. The bar on the beach closed super early on the weekend.
The kitchenette, complimentary coffee and daily newspaper were appreciated. Not as dog friendly as advertised.
The resort is great, right on the beach. The staff is nice, overall a great stay at Alden.
Staff was friendly, great location, clean rooms, great value
Can't beat the location for beach time. The staff is friendly. The grounds are well tended. The facilities are definitely dated; the property could use some sprucing up.
Loved the location and beachfront access. Close to a lot of great restaurants and bars. The staff was awesome and very friendly. We forgot a shirt and bottle of cologne at checkout. They called about an hour later to tell us that we left some things behind. That was very unexpected and very much welcomed. Great family hotel with lots to do with the kids. There was sand all over the room like the floors hadn't been vacuumed from the previous visitors. It was definitely irritating that house keeping left an envelope for tips. We couldn't take our shoes off. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Bathrooms were dated. Parking was very tight also. If you were driving after dinner time, good luck parking.
several pools. toys/floaties provided. very kids friendly. beautiful beach to walk lots of shells to find. lots of room in the suites, great value for your money.
The location was perfect, the staff was very nice with the exception of the early morning checkout guy, and the outside grounds were awesome. The room reminded me of and old motel, the resort in the name is misleading. The window style air conditioner was noisy and ran all night. In addition, the bathrooms were leftover from the 1970's, the showerhead hardly worked, the tub had caulking smeared around the tub, and had a dirty feel. The bed was like sleeping on a rock, with a thin cushion on top.
There were a variety of activities; shuffle board, ping pong, bags, basketball and tennis. The rooms do not even remotely resemble the pictures, they are beyond dated to the point of grungy. There is a small stove with a frying pan and a pot but nothing to bake with. The rooms smell bad and there is really no control over the temperature of your room.
It was fine but outdated
The location is great! Walking distance is most anything! Price I think was appropiate and it was nice! Would go there again!! Rooms could be bigger, but other than that I can't think of anything!!
The staff at Alden Suites made you feel like you were staying in a 5-star hotel. They were so kind, helpful and very accommodating. I did not like that there was not a work-out facility on the premise.
Cute compact clean rooms with friendly staff. Great location! Need some new pillows.
Great location, it was a place to sleep that was pretty much clean. It had a nice pool. The refrigerator in our room was newer and clean. The stove, oven, and microwave were not up to par- we did not cook in them. No maid service at all even though the reservation says there is. Towels every three days is crazy. I had one somewhat warm shower all week and there is no water pressure.
The location was great. There is a trolley that you can take to all the beaches and sites. no
Room nice and clean. Pet friendly a bonus shower gets only up to lukewarm temp. Price was $---a night which was a bit much for this type of motel
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
The staff was great. Good rate as well. It was not beach front but knew it before booking. Wish the pool was open past 10PM
The owners are extremely nice and take pride in their property Loved it
location was great, rooms where better than expected DID NOT LIKE THOSE TACKY SIGNS ALL OVER ROOM EXPLAININ G FEES THAT WILL BE CHARGED IF RULES NOT FOLLOWED...NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL THAT WAS ANNOYING. THE POOL CLOSING EARLY AND BEING TOLD TO BE QUIET BY STAFF WHEN WE WHERE NOT BOTHERING ANYONE.
I loved being on the beach with all actives and atmosphere. Nothing
Excelllent on-site bistro Garage
I think the hotel very expensive considering when we got there it was more like a motel. We were expecting something a little more luxurious
Great location right on the beach. Good restaurants and bars nearby.
Excellent staff and good service
The location, value, room comfort and the staff and the comedy club with it.
The hotel had a variety of activities and restaurants to enjoy. The beds were very uncomfortable and the amenity charges were outrageous. They also allowed some of their guests to get drink and get drunk at the childrens pools.
The location and view of the beach was incredible. The entire facility seemed outdated, run-down and in need of renovations. Probably would not stay here again.
We appreciated the upgrade to a suite at no additional cost. The big blue slide at the Island Grand was ridiculously expensive and should've been included in the $25 resort fee. The adult pool area was too noisy at night (we stayed in a suite, room 3805.) We needed a repair on the door room handle, and it wasn't repaired until we had to call a second time.
The atmosphere begs to be enjoyed. You will not find. More relaxing environment.
The beds were very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make our stay a good one. The atmosphere was very pleasant and very enjoyable. All around a very wonderful place to stay. I didn't have any issues with anything I didn't like.
Location was excellent The facilities require a much needed upgrade. It appeared rundown and dirty. We booked this place because of its affiliation with Wyndham and it did not live up to the expectation. It should also be a non-smoking facility. Given the potential of the facilities, I think it should be renovated!
Rooms were clean and comfortable Common areas of hotel looked run down
The location was excellent. Beds and room size were nice. The staff in the restaurant and bars were great. The hotel appeared a bit dingy overall, but nothing that I would directly complain about.
Great general location updated rooms Front desk and staff was EXCELLENT!!! Location was not easily found-Signage was very lacking. Access to charging outlet for phone and personal communication was like a scavenger hunt. No option for self parking, parking fee was mandatory and only by valet. No directional signage upon arrival to direct to front desk for check-in.
This hotel just opened, so the facilities are great. Rooms are wonderful and management truly cares about your happiness - and takes steps to correct anything that went wrong. Our room was very large with an additional side room area that could be completely separated so some could work or play in one part of the room without disturbing others wanting to sleep. Showers were awesome - large walk-in double headed shower areas. Everything about the rooms was top notch. Service was awful on two occasions. Between a waitress just not bringing us water, jelly, and yogurt we had asked for at breakfast, and another incident where breakfast room service took an hour to deliver (and when they did there was no silverware - they came back 25 minutes later with that so we enjoyed cold breakfast) I can say the wait staff has some work to do. That being said the manager did take steps to correct the incidents. Management truly cares - they just have some kinks to work out.
There was so much to like, the staff, our rooms, the back pool and deck, and all the other detail that made it extremely nice. If only it was on the beach. But it was not hard to get on the beach from the hotel
The hotel is beautiful, and the staff was amazing. We partied on the new rooftop lounge and were able to see a 360 degree view of fireworks from St. Pete, Clearwater, and even Tampa! Amazing views, great music, engaging staff. We are local, so we stay at the beach often. We will definitely make this one of favorites and recommend to our family and friends. We may come by boat next time, as they have mooring privileges. Looking forward to that amazing food from Castile next time too.
Great location friendly staff Small room
The service was fabulous, room large, walk across the street to one of the top beaches in the world. Shout out to Kate, Rich, Kim, Derrick. Liked all
