6.8 Good
Pros: The decor was very modern, clean and sleek. The location was fantastic and the staff was nice. I love the AC unit in the room. Very quite. Not your typical hotel style HVAC.
Cons: We had an ant issue that was very unexpected. It's an old building so it doesn't do a lot to block out sound from the outside world. The bed was a typical hotel bed. Very hard.

Pros: Lovely facility, cheerful staff, sizeable rooms with well equipped kitchens, restaurants within walking distance

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Retro 70's decor. I read on their blog that they were refurbishing the rooms. Unfortunately this wasn't one of them. The staff was very nice, everything was clean, and it's in an excellent location.
Cons: The hotel lobby only had a single serve Kuerig coffee maker. The pods of coffee that they leave in the room are awful. The Kuerig makes a decent cup, but you had to wait in line for a single cup of coffee.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Right on the beach.... clean, friendly, and really good bars auond to drink at
Cons: They didn't have a pool side bar...
6.6 Good
Pros: Location and room size.
Cons: Booked through a third party.,Priceline they treated me as if I was the lowest of the low. I reserved a king but when I arrived they told me they didn't guarantee anything boom through a third party. They sctually have I sign that's says you if you booked your reservation through ANY of the hotel booking sites other than their own You might not even get to stay in the same room for the duration to stay. In other wards you would have to move based on the important prow who booked through their site. Also they CLAIMED to have a " fitness" center. That consisted of a property down the street that had a closet type room with 3 machines and none if them worked. That was VERY. Dissapointing. Just beware DO NOT BOOK THROUGH A THIRD PARTY!
7.4 Good
Pros: Fabulous location. Dollar store, grocery tore and pharmacy close. Nice pool, right on beach.
Cons: Floor dirty. Children walking around barefoot in room and feet were black. Bathroom and walls in need of repair.

Cons: Not all rooms are created equal
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was clean & bright. Right on the beach! The pool was beautiful and there were lots of other things to do onsite, as well.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent all our time on the private beach. Those Adirondack chairs are the best. Between the beach, the gulf, and the pool, we had all that we needed. Location is great, can walk to Walgreens and Publix. Rooms are nice, the kitchenette is very handy. The staff very friendly.
Cons: They originally put us in a room that opened to the street, which was kind of noisy, but when we asked to be moved, they readily accommodated.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: This property and rooms were exceptionally clean. Great location on Saint Pete Beach! Very charming for one of the older style motels and I would definitely stay here again. Sea Turtle across the street has good breakfast!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very nice, room was clean and spacious. Liked that their was a kitchen in the room. Very pleased with our stay. Private beach and pool was great.
Cons: Nothing,everything was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Second time we stayed. Very comfortable room. Beautiful beach front. Didnt have to pay a fee for a chair or umbrella. Towels provided for beach. Love doing business with a local business instead of a chain hotel. Will definitely return again. Very close to restaurants and all the action at St Pete Beach.
6.3 Good
Pros: That it was on the beach and the room was spacious.
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable.
6.0 Good
Pros: Great location to the beach. Good size room.
Cons: Security at night.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Absoluetly wonderful...directly on the beach, clean, cute rooms. We were there for a wedding. It was perfect!
Cons: Not one thing!
7.7 Good
Pros: Convenience of beach access; comfortable beds, space-efficient rooms even thogh limited.
Cons: A little "rinky-dink" in feel -- old-fashioned and a bit odd, but okay all the way around. A little noisy due to the rooms being so close together and the sidewalk being so narrow.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: What can I say, just go there and enjoy it! My husband, 2-year old and myself stayed for 5 nights! The staff is VERY helpful, the room are super great for a family with the lovely kitchen area and the LOCATION, that is just gorgeous. Because it is a small hotel, you get personal treatment and it is just lovely. The heated pool is just an extra plus. We loved it and would definitely go back!
Cons:
6.0 Good
Pros: good location right on beach, small but clean pool, nice room all basic requirment met well
Cons: lack of bar/food/cafe, this would be nice.
6.8 Good
Pros: Staff was friendly and courteous
Cons: We didn't like the fact that when we came back from dinner at 845 the pool was locked. We thought it would be nice go in the heated pool. Since a heated pool in Florida during the day isn't apealing to us.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was great for the price! Friendly staff, clean, close to beach and restaurants, plenty of parking, 2 pools, 1 hot tub, elevators, tennis courts, shuffle board, etc. Hotel provided a crib for our 8 month old but we ended up bringing our own pack and play. Able to rent out cabanas on beach daily for $25, which provided a nice shaded area for the baby.
Cons: The hotel was clean but it was kind of dated. Smoking was allowed by the pool areas. The bar on the beach closed super early on the weekend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: several pools. toys/floaties provided. very kids friendly. beautiful beach to walk lots of shells to find. lots of room in the suites, great value for your money.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice rooms.
Cons: Rooms need better coffee maker. Housekeeping was bare minimum.
6.0 Good
Pros: It was fine but outdated
6.5 Good
Pros: Loved the location and beachfront access. Close to a lot of great restaurants and bars. The staff was awesome and very friendly. We forgot a shirt and bottle of cologne at checkout. They called about an hour later to tell us that we left some things behind. That was very unexpected and very much welcomed. Great family hotel with lots to do with the kids.
Cons: There was sand all over the room like the floors hadn't been vacuumed from the previous visitors. It was definitely irritating that house keeping left an envelope for tips. We couldn't take our shoes off. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Bathrooms were dated. Parking was very tight also. If you were driving after dinner time, good luck parking.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is great! Walking distance is most anything! Price I think was appropiate and it was nice! Would go there again!!
Cons: Rooms could be bigger, but other than that I can't think of anything!!
6.2 Good
Pros: The location was perfect, the staff was very nice with the exception of the early morning checkout guy, and the outside grounds were awesome.
Cons: The room reminded me of and old motel, the resort in the name is misleading. The window style air conditioner was noisy and ran all night. In addition, the bathrooms were leftover from the 1970's, the showerhead hardly worked, the tub had caulking smeared around the tub, and had a dirty feel. The bed was like sleeping on a rock, with a thin cushion on top.
6.5 Good
Pros: Can't beat the location for beach time. The staff is friendly. The grounds are well tended.
Cons: The facilities are definitely dated; the property could use some sprucing up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The resort is great, right on the beach. The staff is nice, overall a great stay at Alden.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly, great location, clean rooms, great value
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at Alden Suites made you feel like you were staying in a 5-star hotel. They were so kind, helpful and very accommodating.
Cons: I did not like that there was not a work-out facility on the premise.
4.8 Okay
Pros: There were a variety of activities; shuffle board, ping pong, bags, basketball and tennis.
Cons: The rooms do not even remotely resemble the pictures, they are beyond dated to the point of grungy. There is a small stove with a frying pan and a pot but nothing to bake with. The rooms smell bad and there is really no control over the temperature of your room.

Pros: Very clean and quiet. Pool area is in the center of the hotel making it nice and private, surrounded by beautiful landscaping. The beach is right out their back door. Loved the location.
4.8 Okay
Pros: Location was great
Cons: I was under the impression all rooms got a beach view we didn't. Rooms were incredibly small like really really small!!
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Met all our expectations, it's not luxury, but it's nice. Appreciate all the honest posts that we based our decision on. Would definitely consider revisiting the gem.
8.2 Excellent
Cons: Limited parking by hotel. 14-15 spots total directly out front and the staff parks right there as well. Staff should be required to park across the street to allow additional parking for paying customers. This was one of the big issues I noticed with this hotel
