Pros: A fantastic stay with hosts that made us feel like at home. Excellent Armenian food and great insight into the country.
Pros: Spacious, quiet rooms in a private house with shared bathroom. It is not a hotel standard and the conditions are not very comfortable. It was very cold (outside was 3°C), but the owners did their best to make us feel comfortable, there was an electric fan in the room and electric mattress. All the inconvenience was being compensated by the great hospitality of the owners. Especially, we were absolutely delighted with the personality of the landlady and wish we had more time to talk to her. The breakfast was excellent, very good natural, home-made products. WI-FI ok.
Cons: Difficult to find.
Pros: Very friendly reception by Artem Barseghyan, who is the prefect host speaking Armenian, Russian, French and English. Nice rural location, where we could nicely sit out in the sun with a cup of coffee. It was a cold late April (elevation close to 2000 metres), but electric heaters and electric blankets were available. Good breakfast. Good wifi.
Pros: Very friendly staff, they speak French. Nice food too.
Cons: Bad beds. had to put mattress on the floor to sleep.
Pros: We liked absolutely everything. Once again we thank Artem and his wife for their hospitality, the time we spent together and absolutely delicious Armenian food. I highly recommend to eweryone.
Pros: The entire time spent at this guest house was so good and Artem and his family very hospitable and kind. We will definitely return.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
Pros: The talkative host will make you feel at home, but the grandmother is the best cook of Armenia. 10/10 for dinner and breakfast! Big room with comfy beds.
Cons: A little bit difficult to find.
Pros: Very friendly people, we felt very welcome in a family home, rooms were cosy and very authentic and we had an excellent breakfast there
Cons: Hard to find but the owner is ready to pick you up anywhere in the town. The house was very cold but we were immediately offered some bedwarmers.
Pros: Artem and his mom were amazing hosts! They are really friendly, warmly welcoming and treated us like being part of the family. His mom is a great cook and you will get plenty of delicious local food every day. We spend one day with Artem around Vardenis. He guided us to many beautiful local places and introduced us to some of his friends. We can definitely recommend this place to everyone.
Pros: The staff were very friendly, the breakfast and dinner were excellent, the place is very clean and it is almost the only accommodation in this side of the lake
Cons: We were 10 people and practically we had only one bathroom. This was quite uncomfortable in the evening and morning
