Very friendly staff and environment. Perfect for a short stay on the alps.
I don't like this hotel at all. I think it is too expensive and the quality is not good. The breakfast is too poor. Besides, there were a lot of families with children running up and down and shouting. If you don´t have any children don't stay in this hotel, otherwise you'll get crazy. Everything.
The breakfasts were excellent. The hotel is approximately 30km from the north-south autostrada so if guests want to explore Bolzano, Trento, Merano, the distance should be taken into consideration. However, the area not far from the hotel offers wonderful walks, cable cars up the mountain, wonderful views and lovely fresh air.
Good quality. Great view from the room of the valley below. Newly built but kept in the tradition of Alpine buildingcraft. The village of Varenna was small and cozy. Although booking was made with departure at 11am, we were asked to leave at 10am
frindly and helpful staff, good food and loe price, it's a good choice for traval in Dolomiti area.
Very pleasant staff, good room and view. Excellent location for car visits to area. Cold in room at night (didn't complain). Breakfast could have been better.
Set in a small town tucked away in the mountains.Nice and peaceful.Staff were really helpful. Good breakfast.
The location was excellent. The staff was not very helpful.
Convenient for exploring a beautiful area of Italy. The rooms are large and this would be appreciated in a longer stay. We stayed in early October when there was a cold snap but the hotel was not heated until the end of October.
Excellent location within walking distance of downtown Cavalese, free rental of bicycles to discover the region, large room with a very nice view of the mountains, most staff very friendly Overall the hotel would benefit from a refreshment (carpet, paintings, infrastructure) to bring it to international 4* level. Breakfast is below expectation even when considering Italian breakfast standards (limited choice, poor coffee (no real espresso!), staff overwelmed in the last hour when clients rush, buffet not replenished anymore 45 minutes before closure).
The hotel owner was very friendly and was giving us a lift to nearby restaurants.. He also had great recommendations on the restaurants, and there was a great Michelin star one which we particularly enjoyed:-) it's location. You must have a car as diving options are non-existent in Panchia itself where the hotel is located. It is 20 minutes with the bus to go to Cavalese skiing area (which is small but very nice long pistes) and about 30 minutes to Predazzo (bigger but with shorter pistes). Val di Fiemme will be welcoming Nordic Ski Championship in 2013, and you can find many steep, purpose-built skiing pistes to practice your carving techniques:-).
