Pros: The apartment is very nice, the bed is very comfortable and the owner is very kind.
Pros: The appartment was impeccably clean. We enjoyed the modern and smart interior. Above all the bed was one of the best we ever slept in.
Pros: Our suite was bright, airy, stylish and clean!
Pros: Everything about the property was perfect and the staff were really helpful and friendly.
Cons: Check in wasn't until 5pm.
Pros: Great location, modern and clean interior
Cons: Front security door did not close automatically - had to push shut!
Pros: The owners were friendly and helpful. The property was immaculate and a treat to go back to each evening. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the steam room each night. We couldnt recommend it more highly.

Pros: Mini bar snacks and soft drinks were included.
Cons: Breakfast far too expensive.
Pros: Everything! location, friendly and helpful staff, great room, gin menu and brasserie...I warmly recommend L'arbre voyageur if you travel to Lille, business or personal.
Cons: I loved everything!
Pros: Nice hotel, clean and central. Very comfortable bed and good breakfast. We had dinner at the Jane restaurant inside the hotel, a bit overpriced for what it is and the maítre was very rude but the rest of the staff was extremely nice and the cocktails were great.
Cons: The maítre at the Jane restaurant inside the hotel. Overpriced food.
Cons: Mosquitos in the room
Pros: Service Design Food
Pros: Top hospitality. The staff leaped at any opportunity to deliver on any request. The location was ideal for visiting central Lille. Yes, its a small thing, but the shower was great. Its the small things that make a stay great.
Cons: Our room faced the courtyard, which should have been quiet. We found the room a little warm for sleeping, but an open window also let in noise from conversations in the garden. I think a whisper in that garden would reflect all the way up the hotel walls. This is really minor. Would definitely stay here again.
Located in Villeneuve-d'Ascq (Recueil), A la Maison du Héron is within a 10-minute drive of Casino Barriere Lille and Lille Grand Palais. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: My wife's food allergy was accommodated with great sensitivity and extra delicious attention.
Cons: Although not a function of the B&B, the road signage in the surrounding area was confusing.
Pros: The family home had 3 guest rooms, all with private facilities. The location was peaceful, the garden delightful, the home comfortable, the hosts friendly. The lady of the house was helpful, experienced (12 years of B&B) and an amazing baker and jam/preserve maker! The sunflower seed bread at breakfast was 1st class, as was the breakfast itself. Generous, varied and excellent quality.
Cons: The parking spaces blocked their family car from leaving. There were 3 bays allocated for guests, but when we stayed these had not been adhered to.
Pros: The breakfast was great! Our host was very warmhearted, helpful and could give us good tips for shopping, sightseeing and restaurants.
Pros: Excellent stay. Wonderful host!
Pros: Although easy to access, the house was fairly secluded and quiet, on a small cul-de-sac. It has a lovely garden. The room was well appointed, very clean, and comfortable (window view to the front of the house). A very good shower! Isabel was an excellent hostess and very helpful. A very good breakfast - home-made bread, cheese, home-made rhubarb tart, home-made jams, fruit juice and very good coffee.
Cons: The bed was a little firm.
Cons: All fantastic, host was wonderful and absolutely spotless
Pros: Tube/subway station very close with free parking. A real bonus!!
Cons: Noise from adjoining room kept us awake. Breakfast a little sparse in terms of choice. No croissants or eggs.
Pros: Lovely property in a quiet location, beautiful garden, helpful host & hostess.

Pros: Superb! on the doorstep of train station, city centre and shopping. The hotel room looked brand new. I thoroughly enjoyed the spa while my mother (aged 72) enjoyed the hotel room bath ( or should I say indoor pool). I'm looking forward to returning!
Pros: the room was lovely and massive bath!

Pros: Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable bedrooms. Helpful staff. Nice bar
Cons: Location was a bit too far from the centre of town - a 15 minute walk

Pros: Good location friendly staff
Cons: Should be a 3 star
Pros: Nice staff, nice location.
Pros: The hotel is wonderful. The staff was terrific and very attentive. The location was great, as were the breakfast offerings. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to someone else visiting the area.
Cons: There were no international news channels offered on the TV. Usually there is at least one station that you can watch to get caught up on international news. At a quick glance it looked like there were some, but when you clicked on it, the channel wan't available. Disappointing.
Cons: Limited on site parking but close proximity to other options. Street parking available.
Pros: The bathtub was huge and deep. I was in town for sports and it was nice to be able to take a bath after a long day on the field. The bed was also very fluffy and comfortable. The location was perfect and the staff were all incredibly helpful as well.
Cons: Room service was very limited and not very good quality. The bar downstairs can get very loud which makes it tough to sleep if you're there over the weekend. The climate control in the room was locked and the set temperature was a bit too high for my tastes. The rooms are also quite small.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is only a few minutes walk from the main square. Breakfast was also nice, there was enough choice. Tip: If you're driving to Lille, book your parking spot in advance with the hotel.
Cons: There isn't much room for breakfast, so don't go at the end (when it's very busy)
Pros: Perfect location to explore Lille. Underground parking very simple.
Cons: Our room was for 3 but only had cups/glasses etc for 2. Minor issue but lacking in attention to detail
Pros: Bed was very comfy. Great orange juice at breakfast
Cons: Coffee at breakfast wasn't great but the main complaint was the smell in the bathroom. Think the whole city might have a sewage problem but we had to keep the bathroom door shut.
Pros: Good beers didn't eat there Soft drinks stocked in minibar for free
Cons: Nothing really very nice modern hotel centrally located Only downside was 16 euro charge for car parking

Pros: The location of this hotel was fantastic. Loved the cocktail bar. Rooms were very large and well styled.
Pros: Very friendly staff, good breakfast, central location, spacious rooms
Cons: Insonorisation between the rooms not optimal
Pros: Great location, welcoming staff, lovely decor and nice bar attached to hotel.
Cons: The matress had a dip in the middle which was mildly uncomfortable.
Pros: Location Staff Comfort
Cons: Nothing identified
Pros: Breakfast was fine, but i'm very easy with food. My husband has a harder time, as he is very picky. Location is excellent, nearby the big square and shopping streets.
Cons: Beds were very warm and didn't breath.
Pros: lovely large and quiet room
Cons: the towels were very thin, could do with replacing.

Pros: If you love Lille, stay here! Charming, quiet, with very friendly concierge...the location is great, right across from metro. Couldn't have been happier.
Pros: Lovely place, helpful staff.
Cons: The parking I paid extra for this but it’s quite a walk with all your luggage.
Pros: terrible customer service avoid this place - wish we had never booked with them
Pros: Bed quality is perfect, the italian shower great, kettle for coffee and tea. Very calm
Pros: Clean comfortable and friendly plus great location
Cons: The room we had was spotless and very comfortable bed. But the terrace and garden though small was a real bonus. It is just one stop on metro from Euro Gare and dead opposite the station. Our room was on the side away from the busy road so very peaceful. The young lady who dealt with us could not have been nicer or more helpful. We will certainly visit again
Pros: Very nice host and good environment. Comfortable with air co (not so often in north France)
Cons: A little far away from downtown
Pros: Good wifi connection, very helpful and sweet stuff, clean, safe and right next to the metro station
Cons: The room can get very hot and there is very noisy hostel in the neighbourhood with parties all the way till early morning

Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Amazing hotel, great location and extremely helpful staff
Cons: The air con in our room wasn’t very good but the staff provided an extra fan, certainly wouldn’t stop us staying again
Cons: Waiting half an hour to be served a drink in the garden before and excellent dinner
Pros: We loved the hotel the moment we stepped in, it has a nice history to it. Very clean, comfortable bed. Friendly staff.
Cons: The restaurant was closed. Limited food for breakfast. Price was overrated. Didn't like that the toilet was not connected to the bathroom.
Pros: Excellent quality and wonderful service
Pros: Great location and awesome staff. Very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was a true French delight! Only 5 steps away from the central city area and still a very quiet spot. The best stay in Lille!
Pros: Upmarket boutique hotel in Vielle Ville of Lille. Close to restaurants, bars, sights. The street is quiet and the hotel set back, but the morning we stayed was rubbish collection day, so we were woken early. Not the hotel's fault, and not much they could do about it. Staff were accessible, knowledgeable and friendly. We stayed on a Monday night so the restaurant was closed, but they were able to advise on alternatives.
Pros: A classy, stylish, discrete hotel in the heart of Lille with excellent, friendly staff giving a warm welcome, good directions and an umbrella every time I went out in the rain. A comfortable bed, lovely touches such as coffee maker and sound-station plus a plate of mini pastries in your room every day. Shower was compact, but nice branded toiletries. Overall, not cheap but quality.
Cons: Hardly the hotel’s fault, but building work was going on to the rear with drilling and hammering from early in the morning.
The best hotel in North of France. L’Hermitage Gantois Autograph Collection, a perfect mix between ancient architecture & modern design was established in 15th century monument. Situated between the Town Hall & Beaux Art Museum, 5 mn to Zenith Arena & Grand Palais Exhibition Center. Less than 90 mn from Bruges, Brussels, Paris, London. Unique in Lille, gardens & heated swimming pool offer a premium atmosphere with high service level for the best price. Reserve this Place to be for your honeymoon, family deal or business trip. The rooms around inside gardens offer a relaxing ambiance. Some offer special features like a fire place, a “French ceiling” or original tiles. Each room has its own personality for a romantic experience. The Flemish Brasserie (Estaminet), the Gourmet Restaurant (Michelin selection), are the best choice in town for diner. The Spa with a heated swimming pool is luxurious cocoon for Carita, Decléor & Thémaé massage. Bar L'Hermitage a vibrant Piano Bar under a gigantic glass roof.
Pros: Pool was fantastic, fresh squeeze OJ in the am, live piano music in the lobby, great bartenders
Cons: Free coffee machine was jammed lol
Pros: Close to Lille city center yet quiet.
Cons: There are two buildings at l’Hermitage. Make sure you book in the original building, with nice historic rooms, and not a room in the new building, which have no particular charm. You would miss on the real Hermitage experience, like I did unfortunately.
Pros: Everything was very comfortable, the rooms were good. Reception staff were very helpful
Cons: It seems all the rooms in the hotel have views of the main road or a road - we did ask to move but all the views appear to be the same. We booked to eat in the brasserie and they were understaffed and the food was awful and cold. The breakfast was OK but the staff were slow and slow to replenish the food
Cons: Smile and greet your guests, not with long face
Pros: Very helpful staff. Stunning place and proper croissants... always a good detail.
Cons: A bit noisy on Saturday am as we were close to the ramp used by the house cleaners
With a stay at La Valiz, you'll be centrally located in Lille, steps from Euralille and 5 minutes by foot from Old Stock Exchange. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Nice convenient location, close to train station. I booked on short notice because I couldn’t get to Lens as planned. I arranged travel for early the next morning.
Cons: No staff at desk when I arrived. My phone battery was dead so I couldn’t call the number provided. She came eventually. There is a dangerous step at precipice of bathroom that I banged my foot on a number of times. Yesterday I was accused of being a thief by staff. They said by email that I stole a wall mounted shampoo dispenser and that they were charging my account €30. Obviously I refuted this false accusation and found out that they didn’t even clean the room until Friday, a day after I checked out. I didn’t notice if this dispenser was there or not, I used the small miniature shampoo bottles provided on wash hand basin to have shower. Why would I steal something that I presume is more than 100ml when I was on flight later that day from Paris to Dublin? Why would someone paying €170 approx. To stay one night in a hotel steal something like this? My solicitor is dealing with it now. Very poor handling of this situation by management
Pros: Excellent location, just next to the railway, metro and bus station. Huge shopping center just next to the hotel. A lot of restaurants around, opera just 3 minutes walk. Free drinks for not changing a towel. Very good internet connection. Nice and friendly staff speaking very good English.
Cons: Very small room, bad smell from the bathroom which does not ave a door. No forks for the breakfast, no vegetables for the breakfast. Parking is located around 300 meters from the hotel, in bad weather it might be a problem.
Pros: The room was nice and clean. Nice place to stay.
Cons: No frige in the room.
Pros: Great location. Nice staff. The room big enough just little confusing corridors. Breakfast ok. Coffee machine in the room.
Cons: Breakfast could be better with hot food selection. To reach your room is confusing due to long and twisty corridors.
Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: Small room but that’s France
Pros: Good location Comfortable bed and good shower Breakfast great.
Cons: Generally good. But Room was quite small and narrow hallways.
Pros: Really central great location. Lovely hotel really clean and modern. Great choice.

Pros: Location is very convenient (few meters from city center). Staff was friendly and helpful.

Pros: Such a beautiful hotel. The breakfast was exceptional. Overall, real french experience.
Pros: Breakfast was nice and good quality coffee in the room available
Pros: Very spacious, nicely presented for an old building with high ceiling and many original features
Cons: Nothing to dislike, but I would recommend having a bell to ring at the reception desk as you arrive or need to check out as I was waiting along time before I could get someone’s attention, also no milk on table for coffee at breakfast and not a large selection for continental breakfast But bed was very comfortable
Pros: Decor. Proximity to town. Lovely river. Gorgeous apricot jam.
Cons: The smell of smoking fish pervading our room from the restaurant. Barbeque outside.

Cons: The bathroom was very tiny, and no space to put anything.
Pros: The location
Cons: 4 flights of stairs to my room
Pros: Quiet location just of main road in a village about 4 miles from centre of Ypres. Comfortable clean room. Excellent buffet breakfast. The hotel had large functions on both nights of our stay but there was absolutely no noise at all.
Pros: -in the city centre -approx 10 minutes on foot from the main trainstation -small hotel, cozy atmosphere -comfortable bed -clean -tasty breakfast, especially jam, cheese. Coffee is also very good.
Cons: -some rooms are very close to eachother, noises from the other room can be disturbing
Cons: The only problem was that the telephone in my room didn't work and I had to go to the desk for ordering my lunch. That's it!

Pros: Beautiful hotel ( the building itself is very impressive ) the location couldnt be better = right next to the main squares and the old town. the stuff were very kind and helpful The room was spacious and very nicely furnished, the window was looking to the square and street and it was really worth it for the very lovely town view

Pros: Large groom and bathroom.Refrigerator.
Cons: Could hear noise from next door starting about 12:30 AM. Mirrors in an unusable place.
Pros: Comfortable room and beds, smack in the city centre
Cons: Warm in the room and no airconditioning for cooling, so we had to open the window (which is noisy in the city centre)
Pros: The hotel is centrally located, but difficult to find because of road works. A staff member came with us to guide us round Lille. They were all pleasant and very helpful. The hotel is central and quiet.
Cons: Rooms are not well isolated - hear every step and noise from neighbor rooms Airco is not working Price of breakfast is exaggerated
