Good location between the old town and the bus and train stations. It is not within the old town itself, but it is only a short walk away. Some nice street art in the area, too. The bed was really nice, I sometimes have trouble sleeping in hotel beds, but had no problems here. The house is very secure and the single room I was staying in was nice, with thick courtains. I haven't seen any staff except for a moment on my very last day, but they were responsive on the e-mail when I needed them, so I would not say this is a bad thing.
The heating in the room was a bit too good, the room was VERY warm, and I couldn't find a way to regulate it. Mind, it is not that big of an issue and I did not feel it was worth contacting the host about it.
The location was great - quick <10 min walk to old town. Easy check in with lock box Bed was very comfortable - my cousin and I shared a double bed and both slept very well Clean room and common areas When available, the staff were friendly and helpful , even with language barrier The price was right for four nights
There needs to be a motion sensor light (or some sort of light!) in the outside courtyard area. It’s a bit worrisome when arriving back in the dark and not being able to see - also, there’s an outdoor stairwell where the key lockbox is and it would be very easy for someone to hang out in that area since it’s so dark. Staff weren’t always accessible. Our power went out on the last night and it appeared to be just our hotel, as other buildings on the street were lit up. We rang the number listed but did not get in touch with anyone nor did we hear back from the message we sent. The room we got was NOT set up to have two people. The sink was tiny and would soak the floor when turned on. The shower was in the corner of the room with a curtain hiding it from the bed. No real space to put luggage or anything and aside from us sleeping in bed my cousin and I felt like we were constantly sitting on top of each other since it was a bit cramped. Would have preferred a room with two twin beds but there was no one when we checked in and we didn’t see anyone for over 24 hours.
The room was basic but very clean. The shared kitchen was also very clean. The location of the guesthouse is great, just a 10 minute walk from the city centre.
The staff was pretty much absent during the time we were there.
It was the first time I stayed at one place that had NO one available. We stayed for 2 nights and we only saw one cleaning lady when we were leaving. I understand the price is very comfortable but it would be good to have someone at least in the reception.
It`s like a room in big apartment with common kitchen downstairs. Staff is invisible but always available by request. Very easy check in / check out. Near by Railway Station, walking distance to city center
Heaters are set up on minimal level. Adjust it up to you on arrival. Pillows are quite small. Not enough cups in the kitchen.
