Perfect home base for exploring Volcano National Park for a family of 5. Grounds are beautiful, kitchen stocked enough to cook-in glamping style.
Needs a refresh on games and puzzles.
Charming style of building. Excellent home made bread. Good location for volcanoes.
Room was a bit pokey and dark and noisy when children running around upstairs.
Very charming setting
Too humid, very moldy, should remove all the carpets from the rooms.
The location is amazing, placed in a very beautiful forest, near the national park. The houses are new and clean, equipped with high quality lighting, heating and bathroom equipment. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and you can see that they honestly care about making your stay pleasant. Breakfast is very tasty, and different than usual hotel meals, which is also a plus - being able to eat fresh fruit and juice is a nice change from the usual stuffing American breakfasts, where usually you don't even expect anything that would taste well. I fully recommend this place to anyone coming to The Big Island, honestly I don't see anything that could be further improved here.
The room was clean and comfortable. The home made cake was delicious. Wish I could stay a few more days to enjoy the beautiful property.
