The room was very clean. The staff pleasant. Room confortable

The lamp was real dull. We bought a bulb from the grocery store. It could use a lamp on both sides of the bed. Both my husband and I like to read at night.

I have to admit, I didn't know what the place looked like but I assumed it couldn't be that bad. When I actually found the place, a little off from the Main Street it lists, I was not about to stay in this motel. The outside just didn't look appealing at all, much less thinking this place was "safe". I told my other half that maybe, looks are deceiving than what they appear. I went inside the office and asked if, I could see the room first. The lady took us to the room and I was totally shocked. The room was just redone, from new furniture to restored, I was pleased with the room. The saying, "Never judge a book by it's cover" is so true. The outside surrounding the Motel, definitely needs a face lift ( I know remodeling takes time, especially under "new management"), clean- up the mess from the restoring, and fix the drive way to the rooms in the back. Very nice stay, apologetic staff who came asap to check when we found a problem, and assitting in anyway. Yes, I would stay there again in the same room!

The outside is a little shady looking, if you know what I mean. I know now, that the place is under new management and they are trying to redo the rooms. Just need to get rid of the trash that you take out of the rooms so, it doesn't look so bad when you're walking to check out your room. Fix the driveway in the back to get to the rooms. New TV's might also be added in, as well. P.S. Make sure that you give guests batteries to use for the remote control too. : )

No internet code was available and room was cold even with the heat on.

Breakfast area was very clean and stocked well. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.

There was a cockroach in our room and front staff was on her cell phone at the desk. Had to ask for assistance to get her off of her cell.

All of the rooms and the common areas have been renovated in the last year. It was well done and everything is new and clean. The rooms have quite a bit of space. There are lots of pillows for the beds. The rooms are quiet. The cleaning staff did a nice job.

There are double beds, not queens (even though there is room for queens). The beds were acceptably comfortable, though. A bit on the hard side for my taste, but ok. While we never ran out of hot water, it never really got hot. Warm would be a better description. They need to turn the temperature up on the water heater several degrees. They need more help refilling the breakfast items. On our first morning I tried to make waffles, out of waffle mix. So I had a bowl of cereal, out of skim milk. I went for some orange juice, they were out. Strike three. Not a big deal, but what is up with the elevators? They are freezing, with ice cold air blowing full blast out of the ceiling vents. I heard several people comment on this.

Clean and modern. Loved our room. Very comfortable beds. Easy drive to Clemson campus. Staff was so friendly and helpful with questions about Clemson and campus. Great experience. Will definitely stay here again.

Comfort and atmosphere

Late check out to me was NOT late...11:00 A.M. that was quite inconvenient as I became sick in the nite and we had difficulty getting scripts from pharmacy...NOT VERY ACCOMODATING>>>THE MANAGER WAS NOT HELPFUL..

Everything rather outdated.

2 rooms... one smelled bad, one had no AC. Noisy guests all around at all hours, a scary experience. I booked 4 days non-refundable and left after 1 day... I'm hoping hotels.com does the right thing and refunds my 3 days...

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. I will be calling for a refund as soon as I am not swamped with holiday work. We did not stay at the hotel and the staff apologized over and over.

The entire hotel is being renovated and should be condemned (think holes in walls of both rooms we were moved to, dry wall, no lights, no cable). This was horrific.

There is absolutely nothing good to say about this hotel.

Well the room was disgusting. The wallpaper was literally coming off of the walls in sheets, that is where it was stapled to the wall. There was a gaping hole in the bathroom wall going into the next room. There was good left in the fridge.

Location, friendly staff, breakfast was 4 star.

The door to the room sticks and must be forcefully opened or closed. The toilet seat was loose and not repaired even after leaving a note. Pillows were flat. Even with all that I will stay there again.

Tranquility, Good breakfast, great location

The Linen need to be restored. Need some cosmetic. But for the price is OK.
