The BEST WESTERN Hotel Portos suits a wide range of expectations, from clients in the midst of a business trip, through tourists on a sight-seeing tour of Warsaw, to the organizers of conference and training events. The BEST WESTERN Hotel Portos is located at the junction of ul. Jana III Sobieskiego and Aleja Generala W. Sikorskiego which provides the best of both worlds to our guests. You are able to enjoy both quiet, park-like surroundings and at the same time take advantage of the easy access to the center of Warsaw by the railway stations and the airport, regardless of their chosen mode of transport. Enjoy your stay.
was described as central but was 7 kilometers away from center, was a lot of noise from the hotel opposite part of the same chain no seated area outside the hotel
very nice hotel and helpful personel!!! liked the stay!!
We lived in spacious room with good furniture and excellent bathroom. Good breakfast.
The cost of parking does not correspond to the information from the description at Booking.com. Real cost of a parking but 40 pln. In our opinion, this price is too high. In the centre of Vienna (it was the underground multy-level garage) we paid for a parking the same sum. But it was the center of Vienna, and hotel portos is located in peripheral district of Warsaw. And in Vienna our car stood in garage, not at the open area! I think that optimum cost of a parking for this district of Warsaw is 20-25 pln. This hotel is far from the center, and consequently the convenient cost of a parking is very important.
Cleanliness and homely comfort. Helpful staff. Spacious rooms. Foreign TV programmes. Tasty breakfast.
No seasonal fruit at breakfast.
Helpful, efficient, pleasant staff. Modern room. It's about a ten-15 min bus ride to center, stop is right across the street so it's relatively convenient.
The room was very clean and comfort and the breakfast was good!
It was suitable for us because the reason what we travelled to Warszava for was close to hotel Portos. To reach to the downtown was very easy.
When we arrived, we had no idea what about the parking. The porter didn't speak english and we didn't find any information at the gate.
Thick night curtains
Although we had deluxe double room: 1) windows were directed to the street. There was a big noise coming from the street cars 24 hours a day. Windows in room were old-styled thin ones not reducing the noise at all. We had to sleep with cotton in our ears. Very unconfortable. 2) strange smell in the room. 3) some of stuff spoke English hardly. Even after we talked to them in English they replied in Polish. That was impolite. 4) No tourist information materials available. 5) Far from the center of the city. 6) Breakfast was terrible. Served in corridor with huge queues. No vegetables.
friendly staff, clean, value for money. Joanna in the restaurant is very good at her work and speaks english! Bus connection to town good(buy tickets at Hotel Atos kiosk). Breakfest is good!
