Nice old established hotel on the main square of downtown Wasserburg. I can highly recommend it.
Nice quiet hotel about in old Bavarian town a small hour drive from Munich.
The staff was wonderful; the beer garden is lovely; the price (breakfast included) was a good value; the room was nice and quiet; the location was superb. it rained while we were in the beer garden :(( hardly the hotel's fault!
A lovely hotel centrally located with a very nice beer garden to the side.Food was very good and the staff very nice. Carparking was not great.
nothing stood out. no, it is average
Typical Baverian hotel and decor. Very nice place to stay in the countryside outside of Munich. Good for golfers. TV so small you can't watch it.
Hotel was very nice. Small town and way on "S-bahn" to hotel gave me posibility to relax after the long day in the Munich. Old stile of hotel also was very fascinating.
I liked the breakfast and the location (very close to the clinic where I was treated). Staff was helpful and nice. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is pleasant and welcoming. I think the price was quite high for a hotel located in a little town where nothing happens. The bed was not comfortable, the TV set was small and one could only see programs in German.
Comfortable beds and spacy rooms, we had a double room and that was very convenient. Bathroom and toilet are very small. Receptionist could be more friendly.
Relaxed but efficient, rooms well apointed, dining and wine list great. Good value for money in a lovely region.
the friendliness and proffessionalism of the staff. the location. the food. everything exceeded expecation
Generally helpful staff, especially the host, accessible restaurant, beautiful views, comfortable room. My internet connection in the room was shaky and the hosts did not seem to know how to turn on the English keyboard for th internet.
The location on the water, the rooms, the great , kind helpful service, and all the recreation.
The location is beautiful and a good starting point for a lot of day trips to other interesting places in Bavaria or Austria like Salzburg, Berchtesgaden, Königssee, Zell am See, Kitzbühel etc. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The wash rooms had no ventilation and when we had a shower the floor got a little flooded since the curtain did not close fully.
Attentive staff, excellent facilities and location. Outdated, it needs a soft renovation. Bad wireless reception in room, reception signal should be improved.
Slow service in Dining room
It is a beautiful, peaceful site where it is possible to relax with excellent amenities. No
location on lake chiemsee and the ability to go from the hotel to the lake for a swim. Good outdoor breakfast which is included in the price. Hotel is aged, it claims 4 stars but it needs to refurbished and is lost in a time warp of classic olde worlde Bavarian/Tyrolean design which doesnt work in a lake setting. Access to the lake is very small and not comfortable. Excessive development of the yacht marina has choked off the lake from the hotel. The art in the hotel is appalling, cheap quasi-African oils for sale, again not befitting an upmarket hotel. In general, many of the hotels on Lake Chiemsee and Bavaria in general are stuck in their old design format of checked fabrics, heavy furniture and bad design. I live nearby so I know what I am writing about compared to Italy, Spain or France
Great restaurant and service. nothing
We were 1 adult and 2 children when I booked in the internet there was no space for booking a triple roomm but it said I could paid extra (30 euros) for a bed for a child. The hotel wanted to charge me around 400 euros more for a suite to place the third bed.
The staff were great! Answered all our questions and even did some internet searches for us to get more complete answers. They were willing to listen to my really bad German and speak really slowly back in German or in English. Would like a larger wi-fi coverage.
Very nice receptionist. Clean and spacious rooms. Very nice breakfast. Absolutely awesome having a pool facility next door. For us great being half way between Munich and Salzburg Beds a little hard
Clean bathroom, quite environment, very close to the spa (free entrance), availability of sauna (EUR 4.5), massages (EUR 35) Poor knowing of English by the personnel, we had a broken couch in the room, mostly old people in hotel and spa
A very comfortable hotel, close enough to reach by car the ferry to visit Herrenchiemsee palace on the nearby island. Very large room and free services such as Wi-Fi internet. Good restaurant.
Free entry to the Thermewelt. Nice view from the room. Not far from area attractions. Parking in garage was very small and very low. Charge for the tax free coupon that I did not needed. Laud music from the next door restaurant on Saturday night.
Close and affiliated with Chimsee Therme Wi-Fi only in public spaces
Very convinient location with the working distance to the mineral pool and spa. Good service and comfortable rooms. Breakfast included.
Proximity to the Chiemsee Therme Spa and free admission to that spa. It is our 4th time there.
Entry to the baths include in price.
A very nice, well-appointed hotel with spacious rooms and excellent facilities. The dinner and breakfast we had there was excellent. Our lady who waited upon us in the dining room was a delight and although we had no shared language abilities, we achieved so much through laughter and her personality.
The food at the restaurant was very good. The hotel room was very clean and fairly large when comparing Europeon hotel rooms.
Location was fine for Chiemsee area. First room provided had not been cleaned; room we stayed in was right beside church clocktower
Confortable. Reception open 24 hours.
Very nice German hotel in the countryside quite near to Prien and Chiemsee (with the Ludwig castle of Herrenchiemsee). Room was clean, quite big and comfortable. There was no wi-fi internet connection in my room.
Room was exceptionally nice & the restaurant was excellent-the chef is outstanding.
Arrived as town fest started, so joined in without delay. Wonderful dinner outside. Breakfast was spoiled by investation of flies, staff seemed overwhelmed by it themselves. Must have been the weather.
great local if you have a car. very good breakfast.
Don't arrive on a Monday when the hotel is unstaffed and you will have difficulty getting in.
Warm atmosphere, kind staff low comfort (old fashion, simple furniture, 30-40 years old) waste_basket full with rubbish in the room/toilet
very good breakfast the room was humid
Very pleasant hotel, good value for money, nice restaurant for dinner and breakfast the following morning. Very quiet which is a big plus! Hotels always overcharge for telephone calls and this one was no exception. My fault for not charging my mobile! Seating plans for breakfast a bit ott.
I liked the room, it was big and fresh. The breakfastbuffet was large. The food in half board was good for its price. I appreciated the lift. I did not use the spa facilities. The view was marvellous. I saw several swimmers in the lake.
The room was ok and clean. The view and surrounding countryside was fantastic, The icebox was full of ice and the kitchen light didnt work. The manageress was put out to the point of being rude when confronted about this. The whole place lacks attention to detail.
The rooms are very large and having a small kitchen was a real benefit. The hotel is somewhat out-of-the way. It is a 7 km trip to Prien and Lake Chimsee. However, for us the benefits outweighted the distance.
Breakfast was fantastic and the room size was brilliant. Location was also spot on, not far from the town centre but great views from balcony.
big room (important for familly); wonderful view, silence,
Lovely, traditional hotel, but very far from Train station and 45 minutes from Munich. Quiet and tranquil, farm setting. Distance from Train Station and Munich.
Poor toilet cleaning.
We booked a Quadruple Room (4 persons), but it was not free when we arrived. We got 2 dobb. room for the same amount as the quadruple room, so it was okay, but not perfect.
Parking facilities were excellent, cleanliness, appreicated the fruit in the room. Most enjoyable visit.
coffee and breakfast bar and reception closing at 10pm
It was close to the city, but with the country feel.
The family was very nice and helpful and the service was excellent. Even tough we thought we had to pay for breakfast they let us know that it was included. That and the kitchen made the week less expensive.
We were made to feel very comfortable and were looked after very well. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and we had a good view of the lake and harbour from our room. It was a pity that there was no English news channel on the television as we were anxious to learn if other members of our family were likely to be stranded by the volcanic ash saga.
Very nice lake view from all rooms. Very friendly hosts and owners. Great position for starting to visit local places.
the very helpful staff everything was great
I liked the fact that the staff spoke English and was helpful I would have liked to be able to have an evening meal at the hotel. However, the breakfast was good
Very comfortable, large room. Wellness facilities were great. We ate in the restaurant both nights and food was beautiful and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room and especially the bathroom were very dated in decor - not a big problem, and quite typical for this sort of hotel, but something to prepare yourself for! The south-facing 'lake view' was a side view, but in fact the front view would have overlooked the rather busy bridge so it was fine. Seebruck itself is not very interesting but it's a great place to base yourself for an interesting holiday.
Enjoyed the friendliness of the staff, the excellent service and excellent food and wines.Location is great right on Chiemsee.
Excellent Hotel with full facilities, including pool and extensive sauna, all "free". A bit of noise from the nearby road.
Nice location just in front of Chiemsee and excellent food and service for the breakfirst. too expensive for 3 star hotel and the room I had was a bit smelly - the typical smell from old carpaet
Hospitality and friendliness of the staff.
The kitchen staff was very professional and very friendly, I liked it
The rooms that face south have the view f the Alps and the water. We had a balcony room and thoroughly enjoyed it. If possible, the directions to get around on the rented bikes from Wasserman could be in English as well as German. However, we had no problem finding our way to a lovely cafe on the west side of the lake because German bike trails are so well marked.
The indoor pool was a little cold but it did not stop out children from swimming. The open spa facility and sauna rooms were wonderful. We also enjoyed the restaurant. Every morning they provided a beautful buffet with a variety of choices. One evening our group of 14 ate dinner at the hotel where the food and waitress were both delightful. The beds were too hard.
Very comfortable room with balcony on two sides; good food; friendly staff The pillows
Meals great,Wi Fi free & worked.NOTHING In town only good for an overnight stay.Free onsite parking. Not worth paying the extra for lake view room.
