Pros: Excellent variable breakfast and hosts cound'nt do enough to make stay enjoyable, even had cycles that could be borrowed.
Cons: The heat on the first 3 days was most uncomfortable whether inside or outside of the accommodation. The only way to combat this was for air conditioning or window shutters but we were provided with a fan. However can we expect such extreme conditions repeated again?

Pros: Absolutely recommendable! A very friendly welcome by a charming young host couple, nice mixture of retro style and modern facilities in the room, charming breakfast room and excellent breakfast. Perfectly located within a 2 minutes walk to the village centre, which again ist worth visiting. Very pleasant bike tours area and Enschede and Oldenzaal within a ten to twenty minutes car ride.

Pros: Climate control in the room (there wasn't a real airco as advertised though), spacious and clean room, few other guests so we had the swimming pool to ourselves for a long time, lots of little details such as chocolates and candles in the room, tea leaves instead of tea bags, etc. which felt very luxurious. Great location near two restaurants.
Cons: Mattrass was very thin and therefore wasn't comfortable. Our room was located next to the hallway so we woke up a few times because other guests were walking and talking to each other in the hallway and up the stairs. The breakfast room wasn't very spacious so it didn't feel private. The owners were also quite present during our stay, so we were regularly reminded that we were occupying somebody's house. That's not a complaint; we just prefer the anonimity of a bigger hotel.

Pros: Facilities were excellent, breakfast was good, Alpacas in field next to driveway.
Cons: The only thing that was not good was the amount of earwigs on the ceiling over the bed, killed about 15 the first night, 4 the second night (one on the bed), but only one on the third night, maybe if we had stayed another night it would have been alright. To be fair it is in a very rural setting so the possibility of lots of little creatures around.

Pros: Wow fantastic for a B&B. Great location but not too far from motorway. I had a large quite bedroom with en suites and a balcony. The place was spotless and very warm and welcoming. Lovely breakfast too. Didn't get time to use the pool and sauna but it did look very nice. Would stay again for sure.

Breakfast room accessible at all times for tea or coffee and fridge provided for cold drinks (upon payment) including wine, beer and soft drinks. A good selection of meats and cheese plus yogurt etc for breakfast and a lady on hand to cook scrambled eggs or boiled eggs to your choice.

Situated on a farmhouse in a rural area in Rossum at 10 km from the German border, De Hörst offers a garden and free Wi-Fi access is available. Each room is located on the ground floor comes with a washbasin and floor heating. The bathroom facilities are shared. Senseo Coffee/tea facilities are available for free, as well as a fridge and microwave. At De Hörst you will find a terrace and barbecue facilities can be used upon request. Other facilities offered include a shared lounge and luggage storage. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including cycling and walking. There are several restaurants available within a radius of 5 km. The city Enschede can be reached within 20 minutes by car.

Pros: Amazing accommodation with very high standards. We stayed in the garden room with private access to a beautifull garden. Everything about this place is perfect, comfortable large bed, great selection of food for breakfast and Monique, the host, went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible without being intrusive. I would certainly recommend De Horst. We did a bike tour around this region of the Netherlands staying at a number of accommodations and this was our favourite place.

Pros: Attractive hotel with exceptional gardens and grounds. Restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful and high standard of cuisine. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Ootmarsum which proved to be a very pleasant town with shops, restaurants, art galleries and museums
Cons: Difficulty in obtaining information about the local area as Reception had nothing available in English and did not fulfill its promise to provide this, however, the local Tourist Information Office proved very helpful.

Cons: I was given a lower category room than what I booked. It was quite clear that I booked for Junior Suite with Garden View and I was given a Superior Room! Their answer was "this is what we've received". reakfast should be improved.

Pros: Location- beautiful garden surrounds, short walk or shorter bike ride to centre of town. Excellent restaurant &'top breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and very quiet. Great indoor & outdoor pools, sauna, spa- and a town full of interesting art galleries.

Pros: The design of bar, restaurant. Great vibe and design of room. Good quality bed, gorgeous food. Bar is also a nice place to read the newspaper and have a coffee or a drink. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Great place to go for beautiful hikes.
Cons: We had lukewarm/cold water in bath and shower for 2 days. After telling someone at the recpetion desk, we got the remark that they've had that complaint more often. Hmmm, maybe than do something about it? Poor quality pillows.

Pros: It is always a pleasure to stay at Erve Hulsbeek. Especially after their refurbishment that took place in 2018. The room I stayed in was luxurious and large. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Erve Hulsbeek feels like home.

Pros: The service was beyond excellent. I’m a celiac and my wife is allergic to fish. The staff treated us like all of our needs were just normal requests. And we only had to tell them once and they remembered. They were also very kind in putting up with our inability to speak Dutch. We were so comfortable that we felt like we were at home.
Cons: The only thing we didn’t like was that we had to leave.

Pros: For me it was just an overnight stop when driving from Scandinavia to the Hoek van Holland - Harwich ferry. The location is only a few kilometres from the motorway. The bedroom was excellent, with a high quality, newly fitted ensuite shower room. Breakfast was very good, in choice and quality. The hotel stands in quiet countryside just outside Borne and would be a good base for exploring the area.
Cons: Nothing - completely happy with my short visit.

Pros: The room was ok, a bit dated, but clean and quiet. The best thing about my stay was the superfriendly service from start to finish. Staff always had a smile on their faces and did everything to make my stay comfortable. The wellnes area is also worth mentioning. A nice sauna and jacuzzi. Definitely good value for money.

Pros: Very much enjoyed the peacefulness of the location. The breakfast was continental as expected, and my hostess was most helpful and accommodating. It was the perfect location for attending the 4th Musketier event at Twenthe airfield.

Pros: B&B Kroese is a very quaint home with just the right amount of modern touches for a comfortable stay. The host is very accomodating. She doesn’t speak English and I don’t speak Dutch but we were able to communicate simple messages using a language translation app. I had absolutely no issues with my stay and if you’re headed to the area,l by car. this is a good, convenient and affordable choice.

Cons: The host is Non English speaking and I was ignored. Other guests were offered wine and cheese and a snack it appeared. I was not. I was charged to plug in my ebike. Host made little effort to make me feel welcome although she was kind. Rooms are up a steep set of stairs. Difficult with multiple bags.
