Pros (+) The Hamilton House Inn is a lovely place in Monroe, LA. It sure beats a standard hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and cozy. They have more homey touches than commercial hotel rooms. And the breakfast is just great. Everything is always delicious. We love getting to stay here. Its such a nice break from the normal hotel chains. If you can stay here please do!
Cons (-) This hotel doesn't accept small children. Even babies. :( Also, parking is on the street. While there is usually ample parking if there is anything going on in downtown parking will be limited. Also, not good for people pulling trailers. There is a parking lot next door but again if an event is going on you won't be able to find parking.
