The apartments are very well laid out and very spacious. Three good size bedrooms with two having doors that open onto the balcony looking over Wexford. Has everything you need, it’s like a home from home. Great location, lots of cafes and bars in walking distance and close to the main shopping area. Modern apartments and spacious. The reception staff were amazing. So friendly. Excellent apartment, modern, spacious, and a great central location.
The walk from the apartment to the lifts could do with a Perspex roof as there was a storm while we were there and got drenched every time we went out. Parking is quite busy. Looks like parking is not just for the apartments. Felt a bit chilly at times (high ceilings so presumably takes longer to heat) but heating worked fine and chill was soon gone. Only thing that I found annoying was giving the deposit when I arrived, it's fine giving a deposit but I gave my credit card and they actually took the money out then when leaving I had to give the receptionist back my credit card to refund me and it took 4 days to go back to my account!! That's crazy in this day and age. Cash next year. Check out is way too early at 10 am. Late check-out costs an extra 50 euro for 2 hours which is a bit pricey in my opinion. Difficult to find your way to car park on arrival. Alarm went off for 10 minutes in the complex. Woke everyone up at 3 am. Couldn't get back to sleep. No apology or explanation given. Exhausted after getting little sleep! The security deposit has not gone straight back into my credit card. We were also attending a weekend conference in the hotel. Went to bed early to be fresh the next day and the entire place got woken up by the fire alarm at 3:00 am because of burn toast near reception. It woke the entire place up. The second bedroom was dark as it faced into the corridor, but not a big issue for a few days. Oven gloves would be useful as it was difficult to get things in and out the oven with only one tea towel available. Great facilities but was disappointed that check out time was 10 am very early on a Sunday morning and with check in from 4 pm. We looked for an extension for check and I was charged an extra €25.00 per hr. I left a note at reception stating issues that needed attention in Apartment. Bedroom had a spectacular sea-view, but very noisy with traffic. Not conducive to handicap individuals. That u had to be out by 10 o'clock the morning you were leaving way too early and also u had to give €150 deposit off your bank card when checking in and never came back into my account until 4 days later after I had left. Construction going on outside our apartment. Noise started at 8 am. Couldn't open my curtains or patio door as I was eye level with the builders. Unfortunately this was not explained to us on check-in. The apartments has 2 bedrooms the one to the front has much lighter curtains than the rest of apartment, and friends sharing that room couldn’t really sleep with the bright lights on the landings, maybe if they were sensors on them or heavy blackout curtains could help, in the rooms near landings, my room was the other end and no lights as it wasn’t facing out on landings. It was very warm, couldn't open the bedroom window enough. Construction work going on next door. Work started at 7 am. We should have been informed beforehand of this. Door handle faulty on main bathroom, got locked in. Grab handle on bath falling off wall, (Health & Safety issue). Toilets very noisy when flushed. Could hear the toilet next door being flushed. Water tank on clothes dryer completely full, so dryer wouldn't work, should have been emptied. Whoever is supposed to check apartment beforehand, really didn't pay much attention to detail. Smart TV wasn’t particularly “smart”. Check-in said they would phone when the apartment was ready and didn’t. Huge balcony but no seating/tables due to health and safety. We used our own fold-out chairs.
