The room was big and clean with excellent beds and we had a lovely ocean view. The beach was fabulous. Right outside our door. Close Location to places to eat and the ease of the property was nice to have.

Avila Beach has it all beautiful location, not far from the city excellent facilities and very friendly staff. The nice thing is that despite that it's big complex it doesn't feel like you're there with a lot of people. You still have a lot of room for yourself. The two private beaches are the best example of that, there is more than enough space.

Charges for everything from bottled water to shuttle service. They did not tell us that the snorkeling gear is not free. We did not know.
