Pros (+) The inn was located a mile from where we needed to be. It is quite beautiful and the beds are very comfortable.
Cons (-) When you enter the in and stay on the left side there is a stair that is very difficult to see with the carpet. They should definitely have some sort of high visibility strip on that step. My mother fell as we entered.

Pros (+) We enjoyed the bed & breakfast feelin!. Made us feel like we were home not in a hotel. Close to restaurants so we could walk. The breakfast setting and food were really good. I would definitely return.

Pros (+) Everything in downtown and historic Winston-Salem was in walking distance. The front desk associates that worked the evening of our check-in were so friendly and had excellent dining suggestions. The room was amazing and had a great history. The decor was clean, fresh, and not cluttered. The amenities in the bathroom were really nice too. I cant wait to return.

Pros (+) Very good value. Great breakfast. Decor excellent. Very very friendly and helpful staff. Loved the adaptation of the old building.
Cons (-) When we raised the blinds to see the snow falling the windows were full of cobwebs and dead bugs. Horrible looking. Obviously had not been cleaned for a long time. We FINALLY got a receipt for our bill but were initially told that the hotel could not tell us what we payed
