The rooms are super cute and ours came with a little kitchen and a patio! Also, DOGS! The toilet was literally right in front of the the entrance to the shower.
Very clean, nice lawn in the back leading down to the beach. Beautiful and un-crowded beach. Pleasant staff. Rooms are very small and smell not bad but old is the only way to describe it. Would not stay long term, ok for a night or two.
Just a great place to stay No

Privately owned single level hotel. Oceanfront view, sits above beach but has very sturdy stairs to get to the beach, about 15 or less, no problem. Owners were very nice and owners daughter was super nice. Discussed other properties owned and rentable. Beds need upgrade. They are okay but are getting close to that point of needing replaced. Also a couple of the white towels had marks on them which always makes a person wonder if it has been washed or not.
the staff,,,were wonderful and helpful in suggesting a restaurant and it was a good one, I liked the old timey feel of the room, it was very clean ,I liked the spacious feel of it and it was located near the beach I liked everything about it,,,
Right back access to beach staff quietness rooms
Quiet I did not realize that the motel was SO old. Was it adequate, was it quiet, was it clean, and could I get to the beach...YES to all. For the cost I'd probably go somewhere else next time.
It was clean. It was near the ocean. It had a certain oldtime charm. The staff person was nice. There was no one in the office when we left at 7:30 AM. There was a picnic table right outside the bathroom window. The bathroom window was an uncurtained, bathtub to ceiling glass brick wall. It was raining so there were several people at the picnic table under the covered patio. I was uncomfortable with usin
I love the staff. Beach was just down the steps. na
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice air flow with windows open. Bedding and pillows smelled so I used my own bedding. No ice machine. Handle locks only on room doors. My toilet took several flushes to work.
Quiet. My mother and I walked into office to check just me in. Front desk lady somewhat rudely said "do you have a reservation or are you just shopping"? I told her that I had a reservation at which time she asked for my name. (My reservation was under my moms credit card, she wasn't staying withme she was only present because of card). The lady looked up my reservation and then said that she was going to charge me extra because the booking was only for one. I explained that my mom wasn't staying with me but is paying at which point I got a strange look from her. I felt very intimidated throughout this conversation. I got my key and we realized the room was literally the next door over from office. My mom went back in to see if I could switch rooms because I was worried about being kept up by noise. Lady rudely told my mom if I didnt like the room I could go somewhere else. Im not sure what we did to make this woman act so rude but we were nothing but polite with her. Would not recommend just based on my interaction with staff
Very friendly staff, walkable distance to everything, large room and bathroom No air conditioner or fan and it was hot.
The views from the outside seating areas were nice, and the maintenance man was great. The front desk attendant was inefficient and inattentive. The room had huge carpet stains and smelled terrible. Our room didn't even have a refrigerator which my mother needed for storing some of her meds. When asked if we could switch rooms, the attendant said we couldn't because the rest of the rooms were occupied or dirty. Judging from the parking lot's emptiness that was extremely hard to believe. Eventually they unplugged a fridge from another room and hauled it down to ours, making our stay possible even if unpleasant.
Although hard to find, the location was very nice. The hotel was mostly clean, they did have some public bathrooms which were not the cleanest. They also had quest laundry facilities, but no on location laundry soap or fabric softener even though it was advertised in their laundry room. The view of the Bay from the room was lovely. The staff was very nice and courteous. Staff tried to be very helpful. Michael was on duty a lot while we stayed for 4 days and he was friendly and very helpful. He helped make our stay very pleasant. The restaurant wasn't available on the evenings we were at the hotel and because they were situated so far away from everything, it meant going into town a lot just to get a meal. We were gone most of the time during the day and came home late one evening to find that our room had not been made up that day. The situation with no way to do laundry even though there were washers and dryers available. We never stayed where there was a laundry available, but no soap or dryer sheets. The refrigerator was sitting on the luggage rest, so there was nowhere to open your suitcase except on the bed because the rooms were on the small side it was inconvenient. When you took a shower, the water could not be adjusted, it went from freezing cold to scalding hot. Even though it was a non smoking hotel, someone was smoking a cigar and marijuana close to our room.
