Clean, and comfy. Walking distance to most of the entertainment downtown has to offer. Paying 30 dollars a day to park in the hotel garage.
Very nice rooms. Comfortable beds! Very well kept. Breakfast not included and was expensive if you wanted to order it.
Location service Light fixture in bathroom burnt out. Bottom dresser drawer kept opening creating tripping hazard.
Clean, good location, good service there was construction on my floor but it had no impact on me.
Big room. Several restaurants at the hotel. Connected to the mall Had to pay to park...I guess that is expected in the city though. Hotel was great though!
Heat did not work in our room. Brr!! Would only go up to 62 degrees.
Excellent view, fast elevators, handsome lobby, pillows of varied thickness. Paying for wifi, paying for parking, noisy neighbors. This is trivial, but it mattered to me: the paper coffee cup they provide in the room leaked on my white shirt while I was in a meeting.
Staff was excellent and very helpful Parking prices
The location was great, and cannot be beat. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and comfortable! Parking should either be included or discounted for those staying. We reserved a King deluxe facing the city and got 2 full size deluxe room facing air conditioning units on top of the conference center. Overall clean hotel, but for a downtown hotel for the price, it wasn't satisfactory.
Location No parking available for guests upon check-in. We had to find a public parking lot several blocks away. Bathroom sink would not drain. When the toilet was flushed, water backed up in the sink. Bathtub faucet was very loose from wall and fixtures didn't look clean.
the renovation finishes we not up to par, everything was sloppily done. our roon overlooked a nasty rooftop. we had to pay an additional $30 to park our own car on the premises after the room was over $150. Ridiculous and we expected a beautiful hotel. The whole lobby was under construction and it was embarrassing to have to bring my guest in to that.
The beds! No rooftop access.
The view from our room was of downtown and from the 13th floor pretty incredible. Everything we needed was within walking distance which for us was wonderful. For the cost of the room, tacking on a fee for wifi seemed much. Being in this hotel for business made conducting business difficult and the computers in the lobby were no help. I feel a bit like I paid for more than what I got out of staying in this hotel; beautiful, but pricey.
Convenient with helpful staff. Very nice rooms. Great having a starbucks in lobby. The restaurant in the hotel was a pseudo-high-end steak place, not good for travelling with kids.
They upgraded us for free since it was our anniversary which was so gracious and nice!
The food, particularly the oatmeal, was very good. Also, the room service and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We had to wait well into the evening (until 7 or 8nat night) for our room to be cleaned and that only happened by then because we asked. Several times. The wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom, the shower curtain smelled of mildew and there was mold in the shower
Love that The Westin is pet friendly, but no dog NRD or bowls this time. Tight fit on double beds.
We were given the keys to an occupied room, which turned out to be an NFL player, then left in the hallway for an hour while the hotel tried to figure out where to put us. They told us the hotel was empty from New Year's Eve the night before but seemed to have booked the only two customers to the same suite! No apologies whatsoever from the manager of the hotel after the hour and a half inconvenience of looking at three rooms before finally getting to what we paid for. We were given a credit to the hotel restaurant and when we tried to use it the bartender told us to pay the tab and the front desk would reimburse us the next day. Thought it was weird but had somewhere to be so I paid the tab. Needless to say, we didn't get a dime back of the "credit" we were supposed to receive, instead we spent $70 on a restaurant we weren't planning to go to. The customer service we experienced for a Westin was unbelievable and they did nothing to make up for all the issues. Will never stay here again.
Nice and clean hotel. Rooms were small, and the bed was comfortable. I would recommend a stay here.
Our Room with a city view was beautiful. The bed was comfortable. It seems to be a clean facility/property. The location was great in accordance to the venue we were to attend. The Staff was attentive & courteous. I actually wish we could have stayed longer to see some of the cities history and sights. The Room was Kind of "Pricey"........ A few minor maintenance issues could soon need tending too...... The windows were sludgy/foggy. I was told during my booking that garage parking was included, but when we arrived, there was a $25 per night parking fee.
Friendly staff Elevators were broken
It is a great location and could easily walk to restaurants, bars and the mall. The elevators were not great and the number it showed did not always match the floor you were on. The food at the restaurant hotel was not very good.
Friendly staff the best staff is Breyona Johnson Dirty bathrooms
The staff was great and the beds very comfortable. Great location, especially for the price! Small thing, I wish the pool was indoors.
Staff, beds, shower head and view Common space, gym, pool deck, parking lot
quiet. Honestly the bed comforters had stains on it and it was gross. There were no robes in the room, bathroom towels so small and thin, hotel food was not good...
Rooms were clean and nicely appointed. Convenient location in center of Indy if you need a location to walk from. Elevators were extremely noisy, If you are going to stay here, I would suggest a room as far away from the elevators as possible as they ROAR as they pass the floor each time - sound like a jet taking off - there are 4 elevators too...
Value and location Elevators were a bit noises and bathroom was small
Comfortable beds, clean rooms, extremely polite staff, just overall a great experience Nothing that was the hotels fault. It was a loud weekend because of motorcycles, but other wise it was a great experience.
Close to everything. We walked to dinner and a blues bar. Great view. Didn't get a chance to go to roof top bar but it looked appealing
the hotel decor and staff were great. I paid extra for the "City View" only to be put at the back of the hotel. Also, our room was right beside the elevator. The elevator made a high pitched squeak every time it moved. We were celebrating our 22nd anniversary at the noise was annoying and kept waking us up.
I was staying at the JW for a conference and the accommodations were convenient and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout the facility. Great job.
Very clean, comfortable, and excellent location for access to convention center. Some of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. They were all extremely helpful, available, and always smiling. Parking garage was easy in and out. View from room was beautiful. Long waits for elevators, especially at night. Ice only available on 2nd floor. No refrigerator or microwave in rooms. Wi-fi and parking rates very expensive.
Very clean and great location. Staff was very accommodating The room service food was absolutely terrible and it took over 45 minutes to "cook" and bring up to our room. Over priced for bad, cheaply made food
well located, modern, clean, efficient staff. King size bed, while comfortable, needs to be "pillow top" as it is hard, even for a 270lbs man, to enjoy a restful night sleep. These should be standard in your concierge floor. Paying $31.00 for parking. The location does not permit parking on the street. This reservation was at rack rate.... Wi-Fi access, was "free" in the concierge lounge, but a $12.00 charge when in the room. Not too logical.
Very modern and classy makes you feel like a high roller without breaking the bank No complaints
Beautiful hotel with excellent customer service My room was located next to a hospitality room where young people were talking very loud on a Sunday early morning. We were awaken at 5 am due to noisy neighbors.
The hotel was very nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable The hotel was very busy and a bit chaotic. The parking garage was full so we had to finding parking elsewhere.
Loved the location of hotel. Staff was very helpful- minus the restaurant hostess Rooms were very small, coffee maker disgusting along with staircases and ice machine.
The bed and the towels and the other materials felt luxurious. The room was exceedingly small. The Omni name and the expense did not match the size of the room.
the pool; the restaurant; the warmth and helpfulness of the staff the bathroom was nicely done but a bit cramped; the bed was too soft
The decor and everything has been updated very well, but some of the elements of the building remain in disrepair - which to the credit of the Omni, they are working on. It was clean, staff were all nice, and the location was very convenient. It's an old building and there were two issues that arose from that - 1, The elevators were in repair during my three night stay, necessitating either a long wait or a long walk to the opposite wing. Not a biggie, but an inconvenience. Also, 2. the hot water took so long to come on in the shower I wondered if I had even used the handle correctly. It was very slow...but the building is older than dirt, so whattaya gonna do?
Very clean and setup well, Lots of extra pillows
Most full service hotels have a very nice look from a distance but up close, are a bit dirty or have out dated bathroom fixtures. It seems like there's always some small disappointment. This place was very nice when we walked in, and was still very nice as we looked closer and settled into our room. It was a great hotel!
Great location, friendly staff very small rooms and VERY small bathroom
The staff is extremely friendly and very eager to assist Asked for a king bed when made my reservation(a coupke weeks in advance) but told when i arrived only doubles were available
The bar was amazing. Bartenders were extremely knowledgeable and it was a really fun atmosphere. I found two used bandaids on a pillow in our room. Ruined the hotel experience for me.
energy efficient pet friendly clean modern good location
We truly enjoyed the initial vibe walking into the hotel and seeing the colorful lamps. The artwork throughout the hotel was a bonus. Cannot wait to visit Indy again. The only downside...did not have a chance to go to the bar...next time!
The art and design elements are excellent. Staff is friendly and accommodating to guests. The popcorn and hummus at Platt 99 (bar) was good. Nice Gin selection too. The first suite room I was given it had a strong mildew smell. The second room did too but just not as much so I didn't say anything. There was a water mark on the bathroom ceiling. (note: spoke with an Indy friend that was recently down there using a conference room during a heavy rain and water was coming near the windows. No doubt there's a water leak issue). The bed sheets had a tear in it and I ran out of toilet paper since the roll was low and they didn't leave a spare. The "mixology" bar is lacking the "-ology." The bartender hasn't studied much as she mixed my Tom Collins with Sprite. Just a notch above using sour mix. Went with just Gin and Tonic on the second round and got upcharged for Q Tonic. So, they hit it on the surface but miss on execution of product. The good news is it's easily correctable and I hope they do because this is a nice addition to Indianapolis.
Urban feel, crisp, 2 excellent bars and outdoor terrace, hip, green, upscale, quiet but not dead, very accommodating staff, close but not in the noisy center of things. The art and furnishings are the best. I saw that a Yolk breakfast restaurant was opening on the corner. That's a great breakfast place. You can take your dog, they even have a place to walk him. Getting into or out of the parking garage seems to always be a a hassle. No pool, but sometimes that's a good thing = no noisy children. I just like to know I have the option. No rooms have tubs, but they have great showers.
Loved the art throughout the hotel, made it special to be there. Food and drinks were good, the room was very nice. We hope to visit again!
Boutique feel in a business size hotel.
Room was clean, a little out-dated...but clean. Free breakfast is nice. The location is probably the best part about it, it's right off of 465 by the airport, super easy to get to. Wi-Fi was reliable and pretty fast, which is always a plus. Air conditioner worked fine, shower gave hot water all three days. Also the woman that checked me in was super friendly, I wish I remembered her name to give her credit. Short reddish hair. She deserves a raise. Mostly small complaints, but they did add up. The room I was in on the first floor was by where trucks drop off supplies for the hotel, so be aware of this if you're staying on the ground floor. The toilet was a little loud, kept running water, had to jam a towel underneath the bathroom door. TV remote wasnt the original one for the TV, so you had to scroll through the channels instead of being able to enter a specific one. The channel card for the TV was all wrong, and the aspect ratio of the TV was wrong too. Small things but combined they made the TV almost worthless. Bed sheets were VERY thin.
No pool, vending machines out
When we arrived we had to wait 20 minutes for a clean room, and once we got into our room the smoke detector was chirping loudly due to the batteries dying. Someone didn't come up to fix it for over an hour.
Close to airport. Extremely old building. It smelled awful, like cigarettes and unwashed carpets. Our room was not ready when we arrived and it took ~1hr for them to check us in. Felt extremely dirty the whole stay. Kitchenette had no soap and no lighting anywhere near. Poor staffing, they were rude and unhelpful. Would not stay again.
Staff was rude I handed the front desk attendant my credit card she placed it on the counter when returning it even though I had my hand out. During which time she talked about another customer being rude. She did it again with my ID I made mention of how rude it is to place it on the counter when my hand is out. She claimed she didn't see it. Then she didn't hand me my key cards she placed them on the counter and walked away and didn't even tend to the paperwork she had me sign. My personal information and agreement was just sitting out on the counter. I asked to speak to the manager the manager ignored my complaint and said they would look at the tape as if I made up how rude this woman was. He finally grabbed my paperwork of the counter and I never even received a receipt. I told him I have stayed here several times and have never been treated so poory. I asked was the elevator was and he sarcastically said oh well you have stayed here before and you don't know where the elevator is. I explained I had never stayed above the first floor. I got to my room 208 and it was still being cleaned so I had to load me and my daughter and stroller back into the crowded elevator to have our room changed because the rude attendant didn't even bother to make sure our room was ready and cleaned.
The room was clean and the breakfast was was good. For the money it was a good deal. The TV stations were very fuzzy, not enough parking, and property is a little dated.
Good breakfast Dirty rooms, eating area, most of hotel. No restaurant
Location Facilities Cleanliness
Fast and no nonsense at check in and check out. Room was clean.
Shuttle driver named Leonard, upon my arrival to the airport I discovered that my rental car had been given away. I was having a meltdown to say the least. On returning to the airport with a different set of people, Leonard noticed and remembered me ,walked up and rescued me from my own meltdown, he the returned me to the Ramada hotel. From that point I was able to book a new flight. LEONARD IS AWESOME. I was reassured with a his calming words of wisdom and comfort. I really that that day Nothing I can remember at the moment. Check in was a lil rough.
Terrible hotel everything is dirty. I liked nothing about this hotel Well you get what you pay for and after staying one night I would highly recommend you see extra twenty dollars to stay in a better hotel. My room was filthy the breakfast was cold and the girl preparing it was coughing with her hand over her mouth and not washing her hands. When I said something to the front desk girl about how filthy my room was she laughed and thought I was rude. Never never again I will stay at a Wyndham hotel.
Spacious clean room with sofa. Comfortable bed. Nice working desk. Fridge and microwave.Clean bathroom. Friendly competent staff. Bathroom toilet small.
Room was great!!! Quiet and relaxing atmosphere!!! Love that this hotel is close to the Fashion Mall and many great restraunts!!!
Staff was very frindly and helpful, close to shopping and good food we stayed 7 floors above the pool and the chlorine smell was very bad. And the pic. and wording did not go with our room.
Bed and pillows were comfortable. $10 charge for WiFi. Room had only one serving of coffee.
My priority with picking a hotel is cleanliness, and this hotel delivered. It also has a great location, and it feels great to be able to walk to the mall and restaurants after being on the road all day. That the wifi is not free.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel and room are very clean. The mall is connected to the hotel which is a very convenient bonus. We did order room service and the food was very good. The exercise equipment is a little outdated and not functioning well. Several of the treadmills' computer panel would not respond. The breakfast was good not great, I would like a few more options but it was good with good fresh fruit, oatmeal, cereals, eggs, etc.
We left with what appeared to be some sort of bites. After some investigation, we discovered they were bed bug bites. And they turned into very itchy and painful sores. More developed in the next couple of days. We did call so they could exterminate the bed. Frank said he would comp the room. We never asked for it but why say it if you aren't going to do it.
Ambience and location
It was a very nice hotel inside and the doormen were very friendly and welcoming; the bed was comfortable, although we didn't care for the feather pillows. The woman at the front desk was slightly condescending based, i'm sure, on our appearance (we didn't get fully dressed until we got ready to leave the hotel for the evening); also, the room was a little smaller than we expected for the price-not at lot of space to move around.
The location was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and comfortable.
Excellent location. Small, well appointed hotel with a pleasant, helpful staff.
The room although not big felt spacious. Staff was very inviting and helpful.
I have to say the beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept on. My mom passed away earlier in the day (of my visit) and I still managed to get a very nice night of sleep. The whole place was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. I will stay here again, the next time I am visiting the area. Thank you so very much. I didn't like that I wasnt able to stay longer.
Great service! The front desk was especially reassuring. I appreciated how the front desk person came out from behind the desk to show the way to the elevators, offered me a water bottle, etc. None
A number of family members stayed at the Renaissance while in town for a funeral. They gave us a room for a few hours for a family gathering after the funeral at no charge. Gracious and competent care. We were grateful.
Very good service. Food also very good.
Staff was very busy that weekend. Hotel seemed a bit understaffed. Not as friendly/helpful as I would have expected.
The room and bathroom were very spacious and the location was great. My son left his stuffed animal there and the housekeeping staff was great! They overnighted it to us the next business day. All the staff was courteous and helpful.
Our room was very spacious and the hotel was in a great location (close to shops, restaurants, etc). The beds were comfortable and everything was squeaky clean! This hotel was a bit expensive (but was nice) and there wasn't a shuttle to and from the airport. The cab fare was about $30 plus tip.
Very nice spacious room. It was clean and comfortable. I was charged 34 dollars to park in the connected garage, but was not told that it cost anything.
Centered in downtown, everything is within reach from this hotel. Great hotel and staff.
The hotel was located conviently and was nice and clean. We had requested a room opposite to the trains and our room was very close to the loud trains that rolled through all night. We won't risk a nights sleep by not getting our request filled next time.
Speedy check in
ants in the room
Nice rooms, nice bar. Horrible service at the 24 hour cafe. Worst Starbucks coffee ever. There was a party going in that involved strippers and having the police called, not exactly family friendly. Not the hotels fault I suppose, just bad luck.
The staff was very helpful The resturant staff was not friendly or out going
You need free breakfast
The rooms were spacious, with very nice decor. The bed was very comfortable, and the linens were very nice also. The staff was excellent. The location of the hotel was perfect for our destination choices. The hotel in general was very clean. The pool was difficult to get out of. One set of ladders only had 2 steps and the other set was in the deep end and had 3 steps but still was hard to get out of the pool.
Clean and classy. Nothing
The Chef and wait staff in the restaurant/lounge were outstanding. The Chef especially is a real treasure. The evening desk clerk was excellent also. No special problems.
Restaurant was better than average See above
room cleaning staff
My stay was all business so did not have time for much else, but the beds were very comfortable.
The air conditioning in my room went all the way down to 50 degrees, which was definitely the highlight of my stay.
Location in downtown Indianapolis wa excellent
The staff was great. They helped us plan our night when plans were changed and they gave us amazing advice. One reason I picked this hotel was to enjoy the pool and it was closed for cleaning.
old fashioned, elegant, good breakfasts, very kind and helpful personnel, very good localization dirty windows, windows can not be opened, noisy air conditioning
Great to be within blocks of all the activities on monument Square. All employees were very nice and accommodating.
They turned off the water while I was brushing my teeth in the morning, so I could not rinse my mouth. They said the water would be off all day. As a result, I was forced to leave them a present in the toilet.
The location was great A couple of mornings, coffee in the lobby was left over from the night before
i enjoyed the hotel thought it to be a little pricey but was right down town beautiful city large rooms great beds free internet parking not connected to hotel slow room service
the hotel charged my credit card for the stay when i had already been charged by the online booking service and the hotel also charged the online booking service and i have yet to get assistance resolving the matter. i talked to two different people who have told me two different things. When i asked for a copy of my receipt they sent me a blank receipt. When i checked out, i was told the total charge to my card and then told "oh, i wasn't supposed to tell you that". They had asked me to pay again, saying my credit card was declined. When i got home, my credit card statement said otherwise.
Great location, right next to Monument Circle and in the midst of restaurants and shopping. Hotel and room were very nice and very clean. Breakfast buffet was excellent (does not necessarily come with every room, but came with our reservation through Booking.com). Pool was nice, but small.
Front desk staff was fantastic. I left my Ipad in the car that was valet parked and they retrieved it in a flash! Connor, the valet supervisor, gave excellent directions for walking to Mass Ave. and was very cordial. Room was very quiet and the bed was so comfortable. Would absolutely return to this hotel!!
We liked the friendly staff from the minute we walked into the lobby- everyone was very helpful! The hotel was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do! Fabulous weekend!! We never did get the comfort beds to work but slept ok anyway!
I stayed here while attending a local convention. It's a bit of a drive from downtown Indy, but that's the only 'con' about the hotel. It was clean and I found the staff to be VERY friendly and helpful. The breakfast and evening meal are included and were a nice added value.
I've stayed at this hotel several times while visiting my brother. Even though there are many other hotels closer, I always go out of my way to stay here. The hotel is clean, the staff members are friendly , and the included breakfast is plentiful, with a nice variety of food.
The hotel had a lot of good features if you had kids with you. The staff was great. The only thing we didn't like is the room had a funny smell.
Top notch hotel - super clean everywhere - friendly, helpful staff all the way around from every employee we encountered. Rooms are nice and have room darkening curtains, beds were very comfortable, nice bathroom/shower. Free hot breakfast was excellent and saved us time and money, free dinner consisted of salad, baked potato, macaroni/cheese, hot dogs, chips, etc - nothing fancy but all good. Gave us a card for three free drinks from their bar area for hours between 5:30-7:00 pm each day! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone I know looking to stay in the Indianapolis area - no complaints!
The Drury Inn was our stopping point on our way home to Michigan from a Florida Spring Break trip. Normally, after 12.5 hours of driving, any hotel looks excellent. But this one really is. The front desk attendant had a genuine smile ready as I walked in the lobby. Check-in was fast and efficient. And... I could smell freshly popped popcorn. A favorite. The elevators were swift and efficient (did I mention we were tired?) and the room was clean and fresh. We only enjoyed if for about 30 minutes before we conked out, but it was very nice. This is our second Drury Inn, and they both get high marks.
The only complaint is the 2 night minimum booking for special events. .......didn't plan on staying for 2 days.
Morning and evening food is a VERY nice touch...........
Stayed at this hotel as most others in area were sold out. (They also sold out that evening by 6pm.) Free 'happy hour' was hot dogs, mac 'n cheese, and chicken tenders, with one choice of draft beer or wine. Hotel was not prepared for a full house - they were sold out of bottled water at their little store, and were out of coffee each of the 3 times we tried to get some in the morning. Although less than 10 years old, the rooms are very dated looking. (Picture a round dial wall thermostat, floral pictures in gold frames, and a recliner in your room.) Beds were pretty comfortable though. Definitely not a hotel for the business guest!
Wish the dinner was later for guests checking in late, but there are many nearby places to eat. Make sure your GPS gets you on the bypass, instead of going through downtown.
The staff was very professional and kind. The hotel was clean and new. The breakfast was a substantial buffet for being included in the price. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Hotel was super-convenient with easy freeway access. Room was quiet and very large; beds were a little soft for my preference but pillows were great. Breakfast was incredible -- items were fresh and hot, and much more selection than your typical continental breakfast. Coffee was very good -- a definite plus!
The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very clean. We had 6 kids with us who couldn't wait to swim and it was an ice box. I called the day before to make sure both of our rooms had 2 beds. Once we lugged everything to our rooms each one had one bed. We had asked for one of their handicap bathrooms for my mother in a wheelchair and guess what no handicap bathroom. They don't offer continental breakfast like most. Over all beautiful facility just not sure what the people working there are doing.
The beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean Staff was nice Convienant location for near by needs No complimentary breakfast. $7 for a small box of cereal and some fruit. Most expensive frosted flakes I've ever had. To have bacon and eggs it was $12. Very pricey considering we don't eat large amounts. Courtyard was nice besides no smoking there even though its outside Need to post signs that's cars and bikes don't park in front of benches so you can comfortably sit Hallways were freezing cold, but doable if properly dressed
Clean and comfortable. In a huge construction area, at the end of an odd set of roads.
The location was fantastic, right in the centre of indianapolis, and right next to Centre Circle. The business room was terrific for accessing webmail.
Location was great
Location Had no hot water but they are refunding our stay. Things happen not the end of the world. Would stay there again.
This hotel was really lovely to stay in, the rooms were very comfortable and the staff welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was rather 'disposable' - no real cutlery or plates, but this was a minor complaint. The food was great and included in the room price.
It is right in the center, very easy access,
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, clean cozy room, valet parking was convenient. No, other than I wish I could have stayed longer!
