The staff were amazing! Loved the rooms, super spacious with huge ceilings and the most comfy bed!!
The room was spacious and the linens were wonderful! Enjoyed the robes and toiletries also. Great location and well decorated.
Hallway noise was bothersome some nights.

Upbeat and friendly staff willing to assist. I questioned what they might have for someone with Celia for breakfast. The next day I found they had gone to purchase items just for me! Never has this happened to me. Thank you.
Nothing....My friends and I walked most places - Loop , Theater, and lake shore. Taxis or buses were easy to access. Our room was much larger than we expected with nice amenities. I will definitely stay here again when traveling to Chicago.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, printing out walking directions to a specific restaurant we wanted to visit.
Parking seemed expensive

Extremely close to Millennium Park. Everything is basically in walking distance.
Price of the room was--- , great price for being so clos to Millenium Park. There was a hidden $40 dollar 'Departure Cleaning Fee'. If I had known, I'd gone to a nicer hotel, it ended up costing the same anyways.

The location was great for visiting Millennium Park and other great spots downtown.
Loved all the old architectural features. The rooms were small but the architecture, view, location and excellent air conditioning made up for the size. My suggestion is to add a quiet seating area near the stairs and elevators on each floor so that guests that awaken early can read and have coffee while a child or partner sleeps. Joan

It is within walking distance to Union Station and Millenium park. The staff on check in day were super helpful, let us store our bags until room was ready and also after we checked out.
Rooms are TINY. We requested 2 beds because there were 3 of us, and at check in, they offered us 2 TWIN beds?! They offered to upgrade us to a full bed and a pull-out couch for $25, but I asked for a double bed with a roll-away at no charge.
Like the man said, 'Location, location, location'. The hotel is a good value close to everything in The Loop. Staff was extremely knowledgable and helpful.
The rooms are a tad smallish, but it is an older architecture building. Not a major chain experience, and nearby Saturday evening dining choices are few, so stay right there to eat on Saturday night..

Location was perfect, within walking distance to everything. The room was a bit small but you don't spend much time in the room. It was great having the coffee and snacks available in the lounge. Water at the end of the hall was great.
Water bottles in every floor, free guest laundry machines, spacious room
it was a a little bit far from the parks than I thought.

It was very clean, great downtown location, employees were very nice and provided lots of info on the area like where to eat and what to do. The place was fairly quiet, provided breakfast, and had sitting areas with nice leather arm chairs.

the staff was super professional, helpful and friendly. very accommodating! Kudos to front desk staffer Derek for setting the tone right up front and throughout our stay! Housekeeping was also most excellent!
NADA!Luxurious, incredibly beautiful bathroom with separate shower and soak tub!! OMG! I was thrilled about that especially since I was in town to run a half marathon. Superb all the way around! Plenty of drawer space, hangers, cozy bathrobes, free access to Bravo, Showtime and HBO so we didn't have to pay extra to watch movies... which was awesome because we loved the room so much we really didn't want to leave it! but we did, and we were delighted to come 'home' to it every time.
its very calm
there was a pbm with our reservations, they believed we were here for one night instead of two.

No amenities, some issues with toilet, but you get what your pay for
The front desk people were quick and helpful. The lobby and lounge areas were beautiful.
The first room we were put in looked great. It was a two bedroom suite. However, it had a very strong smoke odor. As non-smokers, the odor was too much for us to handle. We called the desk, and they sent a cleaning woman with room spray. We knew this wasn't going to last, so we went to the desk and requested a new room. They were able to provide us with a room with 2 beds. This was less privacy than the 2 room suite, but it did not smell as bad, so we took it. There was a bit of a musty smell, but we attributed this to the age of the hotel itself. Other than that, the room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and we were happy with our stay.
